  1. This total disregard for transparency is one of the main reasons people are opting for other servers/games. This is the reason crims are leaving en masse. Because nobody actually knows what Staff/Devs priorities are, and it shouldn't be such a mystery letting your playerbase know what's coming, so they can provide some feedback and/or voice their desires. But apparently every single update out there is being done in full secrecy & without taking into consideration player's desires. Like the latest update with the Guilty/Not Guilty thing is fantastic, but nobody actually asked for that. I'd rather rot in DOC for hours and know that when I leave, I have actual stuff to do, then be at DOC for 15 minutes less knowing that once im out there's nothing to do. Just like the HSW. It's been in the works for a full year? For what? Who gives a shit about having suspensions separated in the /modview, and having a few additional colors as paint? Compared to activities, QoL, performance fixes, bug fixes, etc..? Why are things that nobody is asking for prioritized, but the actual wishes of players get disregarded? Why is there literally 0 transparency from Devs & Staff regarding stuff like this? Why is not a single Staff member with knowledge of all this not making an announcement, acknowledging the fact that every single aspect of the server is going to shit (even though everyone already knows), and starting to come up with ideas on how to fix it? Very poor management of the server indeed, it's sad to see. Today, Friday night peak number was ~160, which is 150 less than 1 year ago. Makes you wonder why....
  2. Yeah but you dont take into consideration that cops are allowed to JTAC with their mothers and neighbors as well. Any shootout from a 4v2 turns out to be 4vs15 in the matter of 10 seconds. So is that 40% really that impactful in 90% of the scenes? No it isn't. Maybe in a 1v1, 2v2, then yeah, it'd play a role. But cops being able to pager, MK2 for free, unlimited ammo, unlimited AP's from /fl, exempt from backup breach, snipers, gunships, shooting from gunships, snipers, thermal scopes, and god knows what else? All of this isn't enough? You really going to discuss the 40% less damage? There's <100 active crims in the city bro..
  3. If you consider the fact that 95% of the server has never used /ldo, /ame/ /amy /my /melow/ /dolow, makes you understand that we are not a heavy roleplay server. Just because some people are creative with their roleplay doesn't make the server a high level roleplay.
  4. Given the current player count in the server and the size of the map, most of the times you won't encounter random people on the streets unless its near a POI (Legion, Banks, Bennys, Bayview, Labs). Reduce the distance between POI's. Start removing labs up north that aren't really useful, implement new labs in the city (Airport area, vinewood, canyon, etc..). The west side of the city is basically empty, has no POI's whatsoever. Everything is on the east side (Labs - Garbage, Containers, Merryweather, Boat, Terminal, Dam, etc..) whereas the left side of the map has basically nothing (Rockford lab isn't accessible anymore, Bee lab is never open). Burgershot used to be a great POI on that area of the map, but nobody gives a flying fuck about burgershot nowadays. I can't remember the last time I've ordered at Burgershot. Make Open Juro a permanent thing between PD and SD. Let them roam around freely like butterflies, why confine them with an imaginary border? The amount of SD deputies who complain that there's fuck all to do most of the day because nobody is around + the north area being barren, is astounding. Give them something to do. Higher Pay for Freelance Jobs that require you to work within the city, why the fuck is Farmer the highest paying job, where you are basically an NPC in the middle of nowhere? Why cant you make the trash job being the highest paid one? Organize world events (with announcements) that rotate around the city. Basically, make the idea of going up north an option, not a necessity. Since right now a bunch of stuff "force" you to go up north (Humane, Plants, Bayview if no bennys are around, most labs, etc..) removing a good chunk of the already small player base from the city. But if you don't want to remove some POI's completely, just include their counterpart in the city. Humane in the city Fully functional public chops More labs Black Market Doctor Planting zones
  5. You can't count Bennys, LSC, Bayview, EMS factions as regular Civ's. They are vital for the server and crims wouldn't be able to function without them. But surely, every single one of these https://eclipse-rp.net/panel/#/business/legal-factions provide nothing for either LEO or Crims. Crim isn't about "just shoot one another", I've been only a crim so far and (especially right now with this player count) there are not many shoot outs. But for some reason the whole dynamic of the server revolves around crims shooting each other (labs being the main & only source of fun, main income method). Unless you sort crims & leo's pros and cons, you cannot be asking for civ implementations. Not because I'm a crim and you are a civ, but it's because I provide RP to you by attending your events, and your gatherings and paying money to your raffles, you don't provide a single thing to me (or any other crim per se). Do you really think that the random LTU that spawns in the server gives a fuck about a free raffle going on at out of towners? They probably don't even understand the wording "free raffle". What RP opportunity are you providing to them? Whereas the LTU is going to rob you, kidnap you, kill you, beat you up, shave you, interact with you and what not. Crims can live without civs, civs can't live without crims. Go try and start a server of exclusively Civs, and see how that goes, then go start a server of Crims & Leo's only, and see how people flood in. But also, thank you to anyone and everyone involved into organizing actual unique events, even simple club nights are not easy to coordinate, so we appreciate your work and efforts. My comment is subjective, I'm not here to bash anyone's choice of RP or belittle anyone's time and efforts!
  6. It can always be introduced as a rule that gangs of higher tiers cannot cooperate against lower tiers. The thing here is that crims need more ways to interact with each other, and only holding labs together ain't going to cut it. Also, given the steady decline of players, the map and activities need to be consolidated so there's more people in less places. After all, gangs already have their relationships set. So everyone already knows who's beefing who, who's allies with who. With that in mind, it's better to have 1 20v20 fight at 1 lab, than 3 2v2 fights in 3 labs. At this point, we just need to maximize the fun we can get without scripts. I believe that the "high level RP" of the server is long gone, and now we just need to hang on the very thin thread of labs, as it's the only source of entertainment for crim. Our faction focuses almost exclusively on banks, and let me tell you that between the cooldown, police response, coordination, and the amount of police online needed is such a headache to do. ATM, Chops, House robberies are kinda useless.
  7. Yes that's a great point you raise. But you also need to consider the fact that the 2-3 smaller gangs, can pool up numbers and fight the bigger gangs such as Rooks, OTF, etc.. Because as it stands right now, smaller gangs dont have much of a chance against bigger gangs, unless its a new formed gang with all veterans that have assets equal to the members of those bigger gangs. Which then shifts the whole directive of things. And to the point of "end small gangs with no alliances", then that's on them. People dont like you? You are not good at diplomacy? You are not seen as an asset to others? Then that's all on you, nobody elses fault. If you can't provide something valuable to other gangs (Numbers, guns, packs, chops, drugs, what have you), you should maybe reconsider the value of your gang and its place in the city.
  8. would you rather have 200 people at grove street or 20 people in the city total? If PD/SD/Gov/JB/EMS/DOC/SASG/ and fucking coroners & burgershot employees can cooperate, I don't see why gangs aren't allowed to. Massive +1
  9. +1 Remove the gps completely as an item. You dont even need it in your phone. What's the downside of it? Literally 0.
  10. It's been nearly 2 months, and nobody has even acknowledged this bug. Our faction occupies the first 15 spots in the Robbery Leaderboard, meaning that everyone of those 15 people are being affected by this bug (heavily, as the increased loot and speed time = less risk = less chance of being caught inside the bank). Could we please have somone acknowledge that this doesn't work as intended?
  11. Maybe not $10 per item, but I think $100 is way too much, as Lysergic/Toluene/Muriatic it $50 per. Since Humane materials are all legal, make it equal or even less than the illegal counterpart. Also, currently profit margin are so small for cooks. Currently a full batch of LSD Low breaks down as: Total Gross - 155000 Total Expense - 62500 Total Profit - 92500 It takes 23 minutes to cook a 60 batch in a lab with 6 tables (They are kinda rare these days). Multiplied by 4 (60*4=240) = 92 minutes. 240 LSD cooked in 92 minutes (of straight cooking, not counting queue, not counting depo time, not counting downtime for whatever reason). Which takes the total revenute to $1k/minute (again, in a perfect scenario, with no downtime, no depo, no queue). If we take into consideration all of the different downtimes, we are looking at ~$300 per minute. I don't think ~$300/minute is ideal for the riskiest illegal activity. If you don't want to increase the total amount of money you make (Making the prices higher) you can lower the cost of it. TL;DR - Make it around $30-50/per.
  12. honestly, "hands or die" is more than enough. Nobody wants to write a poem before shooting people. 90% of players already know even before demands that they are about to fight, demands are somewhat redundant in my opinion. As long as theres clear intent and previous interaction from both parties, I think shoot on sight should be allowed. If im at a lab, and a person circles 15 times, i shouldnt be giving him a heads up that im about to start shooting. Fuck around and find out.
  13. Probably just the organizers. It's fun once in a while going to listen to some music and chat with people, but after that, it becomes hella boring, and even when people show up to these events, everyone is literally just waiting for the "/b RIGGED RAFFLE" chat. Nobody is actually taking their time to organize a proper event that engages everyone and at least provide some fun for the people involved. Instead of making 10 events a month, make 2 but make them unique and entertaining. Again, I'll reference the Weazel "Last Man Standing" with the green purple alien thing, that shit was fun af. But other than that, there's not much Civ can provide to the crim/leo playerbase. Which is why Civ is neglected. Ultimately, without Dev's efforts and dedication, there's not really much that can be done to save the server.
  14. Honestly, CIV roleplay is fun and interacting only for the people that willingly decide to RP it. Crims provide interactions for a the vast majority of factions. PD/SD/EMS/JB/SASG/GOV/DOC. The less crim players there are, the less fun all of the above-mentioned factions are going to have. Crims should be #1 priority and probably even occupy #2 and #3. PD/SD don't even require a fraction of the development attention that crim does. As a Civ, can you please tell me what kind of RP you provide for crims and/or LEO's? Everyone goes to events and such, but just because there's raffles that people want to attend. Nobody actually enjoys going at these events and have whisper battles and anim battles with other people. When was the last AltRP requested by a Civ player/faction? I've been around the city long enough to know for a fact that I haven't seen a single AltRP conducted by any Civ. And if there was one, crims were not part of it, and by proxy PD/SD weren't either (If they were, a minimal amount was needed). This directly answers all of the civ questions and issues of development. You simply don't need it, not because you are less important or useless as players, I'm not saying that. But the economy and status-quo revolves around crim/LEO. This is not a heavy RP server where there's a multitude of scripts that allow you to roleplay whatever you want. This is a cops and robbers server, with other nuances of RP allowed but not really encouraged as the limitations on script are pretty evident. Unless the developers wake up and start introducing regular additions/updates/patches/meta (call it however you want, just do something) the player base will continue declining. I can guarantee you that if developers drop the "Marijuana planting anywhere in the city" patch, the player count will increase by at the very least by 20-30. Imagine if they actually added some other scripted activities, like counterfeiting, like racketeering, like scripted racing!! Players would start flooding in from every side. And once crims start flooding back in, PD/SD will be overwhelmed by the amount of work they have, Plague's events will have more than 9 people that are there only because of the Raffle, EMS will be getting BANK as crims would be killing each other every minute, DOC would be beating up people with batons, JB can actually do something other than look out the window at City Hall. You get the idea. But it's just ridiculous looking at the complete disregard for the server status by the developers & whoever is in charge and capable of making important decisions. At this point, ECRP is simply just a money generator for them, and everyone is around to just sink together with the ship. Which is sad to see, as there's (at the very least) 1.5 years ahead of us before GTA 6 RP will show up (Ideally). Literally just add these scripts, and I can almost guarantee you the playerbase will skyrocket to 300-350 daily players. - Scripted racing (Scripted tracks with start/finish + Prize based on the enter fee + Timed Leaderboard of race + Classes) - 7/10 difficulty scripting - Civ activities (Golf, Pool, Darts, Triathlons, Shooting ranges with leaderboard and accuracy, time trials) - Crim activities/equipment (Counterfeiting, Racketeering, Heists that are not banks, Toolchest that allows gun repairs, new unique equipment like the GPS Zero Days & Radio Jammers) - Revisiting some of the obsolete rules (Backup breach, crim faction 30 member limit, hostage rules, FRP rules) - Introduction of server RP Ops. If they are allowed in factions discords, why isn't staff setting up some RP Ops of their own, and ping the whole discord? @here or @everyone for those RP ops. Imagine the turn out. The latest Server Event was the Weazel event of Last Man Standing, and there were like 80 people present at the event, which was fun as fuck for everyone. - Introduce nonRP aspects of the server. PVP Arenas, Racing Arenas, Free build, Paintball arenas, custom dimensions, etc.. - Stop pretending that ECRP is a "high level RP server". This is nowhere near a High Level RP. And there's nothing wrong with it. People like it just the way it is, 200 people fly in daily because they like the server. But just imagine having those additional aspects, how many new people will start flooding in and eventually bleed out to the RP side of things. Imagine how many LTU's will join ECRP just because of the PVP arena, and eventually will want to make a LTU only gang (oh lord). Or how many Civ's will showcase their building skills in the Free Build dimension. Or how many factions related to racing will enjoy the Racing Arenas (Alliance, SVR, Redline, Downtown Drift Club, LS Motorcycle Club, etc..) and how many other civs will enjoy the racing aspect, making them more prone to joining some racing gang or legal faction. Why do I have to worry about PD being fucking dicks just because I feel like racing today? You are basically saying "If you like racing, go on another server to race, come back here if you want to do fuckall at Bennys". Whereas you should be incentivizing different kind of people to stay on ECRP and try to attract people from other server, not the other way around. But regardless, as Bala said, all of these ideas fall into deaf ears, and next week this thread will be buried so far down that you'll forget about it yourself. @Paulius @Osvaldon Please just take 5 minutes of your time to read this thread, and the frustration of your player base. Every comment that has been made on this thread is made by a player that loves the community and doesn't want to leave for better servers.
  15. The issue lays on the poor wording and lack of examples provided for certain rules, which leaves ample room for interpretation. And when it comes to reports, interpretation shouldn't be a factor, as reports should be black or white, yes or no, valid or invalid. Reports are supposed to be objective decisions, therefore a subjective interpretation of a rule has no place in that context. It would literally take less than an hour for staff members to create 10/20/30 second videos of what exactly entails a rule that isn't very well defined, so players can go back to it. But as of right now, it seems like the poor wording and lack of effort from the party tasked with creating and overseeing rules, isn't going to be able to provide a better definition of said "misunderstood" rules. Due to that void left that us filled only with interpretation, a large number of players have been (and will be) punished. Which if you ask me, is not fair (am I biased? I don't think so).
  16. Can confirm that none of the Robbery level rewards work. There's no benefits at all. Our faction is currently being heavily penalized due to this bug, as we occupy ~TOP 15, therefore almost every member losing on the advantages of the levels they have gained.
  17. Honestly I don't think the PVP scenario of it can be exploited too much to be fair. It currently takes ~150 seconds to repair a vehicle. Which is WAAY longer than any possible gap/lost VC with any LEO's and/or any hostile situation from catching up to you. If you have time to be waiting 150 seconds in place at Bennys, you could have fixed your vehicle the regular way, in far less time, especially being able to be fixed outside as well, so you can just run off if you see someone. Like this, you are scriptly stuck in place, in a very narrow space, where you can get fully blocked in. This basically removes the shitty feeling of having to repair your car and not having the possibility to do so, especially nowadays with the state of the server where there are not even that many players around.
  18. gang please implement this
  19. There are so many things that are fundamentally wrong with the current state of the server, and I understand that Dev work requires a lot of effort between concept, development & debugging. But it cannot be sustainable to have 2 Devs working on a project this big, and expect major updates/patches/meta changes. The state of the server & its internal systems are so stale (doesn't necessarily mean that they are bad per se, but no matter how good something is, if you get accustomed to it for long enough, it becomes monotonous & uneventful). 1 - LEO vs Crim balance - Problem This is arguably the biggest issue in the server. The current flow of events always favors LEO's instead of balancing it to be 50/50 or, in my opinion, slightly favoring Crims. - LEO's have no repercussions from dying. Therefore allowing them to carelessly engage in RP scenes. - LEO's have access to multidepartment backup. How's it balanced to have PD, SD, DOC, for gods sake even EMS, GOV, SASG, all together? But god forbid 2 small gangs try to cooperate against a bigger gang BACKUPPPP BREACH!!! - Absolute disregard for realistic budgeting & response type. There is no regard for how many times a unit can spawn a new cruiser, no actual limit on how many units can respond to a scene, no real "the crime wasn't as bad, maybe we shouldn't send 15 units + air 1 + HSU just because the person has evaded". - Let's not talk about the pagers, access to super cars that make no sense for LEO's to have, access to virtually every single weapon available in the game, access to unique equipment, access to locked frequency channels, access to an unlimited number of members in the faction, access to virtually anything without no real limitation, and i cant list the endless perks that LEO's get for literally no reason at all. 1 - Solution Have LFM revisit PD/SD factions. Introduce tiers & regulations, promotions, demotions, and the sort for them as well. They are arguably the most important factions in the server, why are they exempt from the faction tier list? Why do reports not weigh the whole faction down? Why are they allowed to disregard any type of punishment, and if someone gets banned, they just replace him the next day? Whereas god forbid one of my members doesn't put their hands up when SD shows up to a scene with guns, GET DEMOTED TO TIER -5 Introduce tiers, make them work for the access that they are given, punish the whole faction for rule breakers, and balance things out. Stop putting LEOs on a pedestal. If I die, I lose 100k (between Heavy Weapons, .50, blunts, steroids/heroin, AP armor, Impound Fees, Prison Fines), whereas if the LEO dies, nothing happens; he's lock and loaded for the next RP (DM) Scene. - Provide unique access to special equipment/scripts that LEO's dont have access to. - Remove backup breach rule. - There are not enough crims active in the server these days for this to be an issue. Let 2 tier 4 gangs cooperate to push a larger gang out of a lab. - Increase member limit for illegal factions. Out of 30 available slots, 5 are always gonna be on LOA's, 5 others are AWOL pretty much, and it's always 15-20 no matter what. - Have FM & LFM organize server-wide events that involve all factions, not just the regular free raffle @ "insert club here" to attract 35 people. RP Ops the entire server for AltRP organized by FM & LFM, it should be their responsibility to engage the player base, as they are the governing body. It's so mind blowing that the constant complaint from the player base is "crim is dead, pd is too strong" and yet there's literally no attempt into steering that narrative the opposite way. ___________________________ 2 - Lack of transparency between devs/staff towards the player base - Problem There's a very concerning lack of transparency between devs/staff when it comes to decisions, future updates, or pretty much anything. There's a myriad of great suggestions in the Suggestions sub-forum, and 99% of them fall under deaf ears; the ones that receive a lot of traction (like this one) receive no official word from any of the staff members on whether it is being considered/discussed/rejected. 2 - Solution Implement a new team (from existing Staff) that will bridge that gap between players & Devs. Notifying people whether their idea has been noticed & considered, allowing people to know what the next updates are going to include (just like 99% of games out there). Furthermore, once people start seeing that their suggestions are not in vain, they can tailor their future ideas based on the feedback that they have received from the staff member. Knowing what the devs think is acceptable and/or doable allows everyone involved to provide better insight. ______________________________ 3 - Staleness - Problem For a new player, ECRP is fucking amazing. Shit ton of stuff to do, tons of labs to discover, myriad of POI to find, and whatnot. What about the others? 500k, 1mln, 2mln exp? We've done everything. Chop Cars, ATMs, Banks, Stores, Labs, everything that the server has to offer. We have all the guns needed, All the cars one can ask for. What is there to do for us? Fly in every day and go goof around at bennys until something happens? Then fly out? There's literally nothing to achieve after you reach a certain point. No grinding required, no motivation to actually do anything meaningful. People that cook drugs, cook just so they can buy guns, so they can cook/push more, it's just an infinite cycle. But then everyone pretends that this isnt a PVP server... Furthermore, something that has been good today, shouldn't be good tomorrow as well. In real life everything fluctuates, stuff gets better, new inventions are made. Why can't we have a team of devs that balance these things out? Create a meta, where some guns are good, others not so good, for a period of time. This allows to create a circulation of "hot guns", putting illegal factions that can import those guns up in value, whereas making less valuable guns fall down in priority. Same thing for cars, why is it so hard to implement 2-3-4-5-6 cars every 2-3 months? Edit the performance of a few cars, make them better than others, and cycle them, so we start seeing more life, more color, more variety in the city. Why do I have to see a Niobe every day? GTA 5 has over 750 vehicles, yet we see the same 20-30 cars in the city over and over. Kamacho, Paragon, Niobe, Shinobi, BF400, Terminus, etc.. ________________________ 3 - Solution Cycle meta's in the server. Tweak numbers of Guns, Vehicles, Illegal Activities. Add a constant cycle of number changes on the above, improve damage/cost/recoil on some of the guns, while lowering the others. Increase handling/acceleration/top speed on some cars, while lowering the others. Increase payouts from certain activities during a period of time but lower others, so people start cycling through all of the activities, and it doesn't become a shit show at labs. By doing this, you prevent people from sticking to a single thing, forcing everyone to shuffle things around, sell assets to buy the new "hot guns", sell their musty ass fucking kamacho that has been to Island at least 910 times this year alone, just for them to buy the new meta vehicle Add time-limited activities. 1 week a month there's going to be a special activity that can be done by crims (Counterfeiting, Large Heists, etc..) Add world events for crims - Money truck spawn, notify random factions + PD/SD once it gets hit. Daily smuggler request, random NPC around the city requires a specific item to be provided to him, first faction that brings it to him gains a large sum of money/special item/whatever you have. Isn't it obvious how such small additions create so many RP opportunities? I'd personally fucking flying in a second if I knew there was going to be stuff like that planned for that day or what not. ___________________________ These are just a few ideas, a few solutions, for a few of the problems. But there are many, many more problems in the server. Remember that this is a game, people want to have fun, that should be the first priority, then realism comes in a close second. But we are currently not doing any of the two. There's arguably (not so arguably) <2 years left for this version of ECRP, once GTA 6 comes out, all of this is is going to be forgotten. So make these last moments be worthy of remembering, instead of pushing people away day by day. Enjoy.
  20. desperate big up
  21. The topic made by Chunder is a masterpiece, questions asked. But the main issue isn't going to be tackled solely by implementing additional features in the DOC system. I'm a player that plays exclusively on crim, I genuinely spend 2/3 hours a day imprisoned. And i understand that those are the consequences of my actions, but it comes to a point where even though I would like to be on the server, I literally have to go AFK in DOC and go do some other IRL stuff just so I can pass the time. It's not very healthy to be able to prevent players from playing a game, just because they decided that they prefer being a criminal instead of being an LEO. Especially since that isn't even balanced, there's no downside in being an LEO, but that's a different topic. As a professional DOC prisoner, and an avid stamp enjoyer. I can tel you that my idea would unanimously be agreed upon by the vast majority of DOC prisoners. If anyone high up enough sees this message: How to make DOC feels not-so-shit to be in 1) Cut prison time in half (or more). 2) Remove MRPD and SD jails, send everyone at DOC. So the population inside is larger. 3) Increase the fines (non violent charges could stay in the general area, violent charges should be punished severely) 4) Stop the DOC timer if a player goes AFK, so people will stop acting like fentanyl addicts at DOC and some proper RP can be done 5) Add activties, sometimes it's just so dead around the city that being at DOC in a closer space is way better, as youre pretty much forced to interact with other inmates and guards. 6) Make it so the highest amount of time possible (VIP or not) is around 90 minutes, but fines scale infinitely. If you get charged enough, you can get generational debt. (One of our members got jailed for 4 hours, tell me how that is enjoyable please). 7) Implement the same system used at impound. If you ring the guards, if nobody shows up within 3 minutes, you can reclaim your legal locker. I'm so annoyed when you finished a 2 hour sentence, and theres nobody to give you your stuff back, do you have to go spend another 5k on Mask, radio, gos, gloves. 8.) Make Jailbreaks less strict. Yes i understand it's a big ask, but it's a game for the love of god. You know how much happier guards, cops, and criminals will be if theres jailbreaks happening more often? How much more RP for everyone it would be? Gun fights, investigations, checks, bribery, all that stuff. I know that these will most likely fall in deaf ears
  22. It could be rebalanced with Less time, but more costs in fines. At the end of the day, people play the game to have fun, by minimizing the amount of time they stay in jail, you will increase the amount of time they are actually interacting with other people in the server. We can all agree that the playerbase is ~200, you will have around ~10 people at DOC/MRPD/SD during that time. That's basically 5% of the playerbase that is locked within 4 walls. The player count is not what it used to be; therefore, certain rules and standards need to be revisited to conform to the new player count/trend. What work in 2021, will not necessarily work in 2025. With that being said, making fines cost more (for x, y, z crimes) you will indirectly push these players into grinding more once they are out of jail (which is going to be less time than before). This fixes a lot of issues with the server. 1) Money sinks for people that are "rich" (I genuinely have no use for money anymore, besides guns/show cars, so making me lose money incentivizes me to keep working.) 2) Less time in DOC 3) Provide a reason for people to keep grinding.
  23. Just make it available for everyone at any time, the waiting time & cost is already a huge discouragement for people to do it, but people use it only when there's no mechanic around. It makes no sense that it works only when there's 0 mechanics available (Bennys + Bayview). During early hours, I've found 1-2 mechanics on duty, but none at the mechanic shop I was at. There's literally no downside into having the selfservicing available at all time, as people would prefer to pay less and wait time, but for those that want it, let it be available. Also, it's a way for people to repair vehicles they dont own, which solves an additional issue per se. I genuinenly don't see any downsides whatsoever in any of this, as it wouldn't be taking any RP away from the mechanic shops, it would just increase the flow of people in them.
