  1. The bug keeps happening semi-consistently when you are in a frequency with someone, and then you change frequency and/or you unequip your radio. F1 relog seems to fix it
  2. Respectfully, ArcAngel, that’s simply not accurate. The number of Staff members who have publicly agreed with these issues is extremely small. And it’s quite telling that the few who have spoken up only began doing so recently — after months of growing frustration and public backlash from the player base. You might be discussing these concerns internally, and that’s fine, but public transparency has been completely absent. The community went weeks, even months, without a single official acknowledgment or announcement addressing these problems. It wasn’t until players repeatedly voiced their frustrations — across forums, Discord, and in-game — that the Staff finally responded. So you could be saying "oh we discussed these things internally" but if you are not saying anything publicly, even going to the extent of silencing people that dared to talk publicly, then it just invalidates everything you have to say afterwards. If it’s true that the majority of the team agrees with these points, then why stay silent for so long? Why did it take players like Marksy, Player X, Player Y, and Player Z publicly speaking up before anyone from Staff decided to do the same? For 99% of the issues at hand above. Why are you waiting for something to become such a nuisance to the community for you to address it? Hasn't everyone complained about the reporting system? Why are you waiting SO long to address it, and when you do address it you're going to be like "oh yeah, we wanted to address it all along". This needs 0 development help. Once again, my "you's" are not directed towards you specifically, it's moreso towards the Staff and/or whoever is in charge of that specific aspect.
  3. Thank you for finally voicing what 99% of the community has been thinking but hasn’t dared to say. Most people stay silent because every Staff member is forced to publicly deny these concerns, and when someone on the outside dares to speak up, their messages or posts mysteriously disappear. Even the few Staff members who privately agree with all this won’t acknowledge it publicly — because, clearly, there’s some sort of unspoken rule or fear among them. It feels like there’s this quiet understanding of “I can’t say that or I’ll lose my position.” And when people are being silenced, directly or indirectly, that’s a strong indication that something is deeply wrong at the top. I don’t know the exact names or who holds which responsibilities, but it’s pretty clear this issue doesn’t come from just one person — and definitely not from lower-ranked Staff. If all the criticism that’s been pouring in about the server’s current state and how the Staff operates still doesn’t make you reflect for even five minutes and recognize your own shortcomings, then I honestly don’t understand how you’re still in your position. A good leader knows when they’ve failed and when it’s time to let more capable people take over. Unfortunately, some of the current Staff seem too emotionally fragile or immature to handle that kind of accountability. Many of you appear completely disconnected from what’s actually happening in-game. If real life limits your ability to stay involved and active, then step down and let others who still have the motivation and time to contribute take your place. A true leadership figure knows when to pass the torch. On top of that, the current report system is absurd. The level of leniency and inconsistency in handling reports is discouraging. I’ve personally found myself hesitating during RP situations, constantly second-guessing every move because of how restrictive and unpredictable the rules are enforced. It feels like one small slip-up could lead to a report, followed by writing essays on the forums and waiting days for a verdict that depends on whoever happens to review it. Reports should only exist for blatant and serious rule violations. Everything else should be dealt with in-game, on the spot. Yet out of every 100 reports, maybe 20 get accepted — and that’s if an admin is even available or willing to handle them. Whether it’s because they’re busy IC or showing favoritism, it all points to a major flaw in how things are being run. That said, I’ll give credit where it’s due — since the recent leadership change in PD/SD, there have been a few positive steps forward. It’s still far from ideal, but at least it’s some progress in the right direction. But the biggest culprits for the decline of crim isn't PD. It's FM itself. The spray-tagging system has been devastating for the server’s balance, and nobody is owning that mistake. The moment you introduced tags that permanently secure turfs, you removed the value and purpose of roughly 80% of the gangs. Historically, larger gangs negotiated with smaller crews over packed cash, drugs, chops, territory deals, and trade; those interactions created real RP. Now you just spray five tags and slowly increase influence without negotiation or conflict. The spray tag mechanic killed whole avenues of RP and any incentive for inter-gang diplomacy. The tier system is broken and inconsistently applied. Using my faction as a neutral example: we appear in about half of the reports filed against groups, and inevitably one or two of those will be accepted - not necessarily because of clear wrongdoing, but because different admins interpret rules differently. This subjective enforcement prevents factions from progressing in tiers and has even led to demotions. Right now only two factions are active on a daily basis and providing the bulk of RP for PD/SD/EMS/Mechanics. Yet the governing body is penalizing the very groups keeping the server alive. Most forum reports are nothing more than report-wars stemming from IC/OOC tensions; they’re petty, not game-breaking. By treating every report like a capital offense, you’re discouraging the last dedicated players. Two years ago the server routinely had 200+ players; today, there are about ~100 online. Ask yourselves whether your current policy is helping or hurting player retention. There is an alarming lack of support for illegal factions — the people who are literally the core of your server’s identity. There are zero illegal-only events, no exclusive features, no faction-specific rewards, and no meaningful incentives for players who spend hours in DOC to provide RP to LEO's or on criminal gameplay. Everything criminals do can be replicated by LEOs or civilians: drugs, weapons, vehicles, labs, planting, you name it. If criminal play offers no unique benefits, what prevents everyone from just becoming cops or civilians? How long do you expect the server to stay interesting with that design? Membership caps on illegal factions are counterproductive and outdated. This is not 2021 with 500 concurrent players; player numbers are low, and strict member limits fragment the already-small player pool into dozens of ineffective groups. You have roughly 18 illegal factions but only 2–4 are active consistently. Caps force people into tiny gangs that never reach critical mass, instead of consolidating players into a few strong factions that drive meaningful RP. Currently, there's about 352 players in illegal factions spread across 18 groups; an average of 19 per faction. Wouldn’t 5 factions with 60–70 members each create far more impact and more consistent RP than what we have now?Instead of people logging in and typing "/fmembers 0", just to see "There are currently 2 players in your faction online", they could be seeing 30/40 people online, allowing them to indulge into more RP scenarios with their peers? The ever-growing list of PvP restrictions is suffocating gameplay. The majority of criminal players enjoy PvP; it’s a core part of the experience. If PvP makes you uncomfortable, don’t pretend to set rules for people who actually play that way. There’s a big difference between regulated PvP/DM and outright RDM, and the staff should understand that. You can’t forbid a shooter from defending their turf or engaging a rival at a lab; if you walk into high-risk areas like labs, expect conflict. Regulate PvP sensibly, admit that crim-centered PvP is part of the game, and stop making rules that only hurt the combat side of roleplay. Me, and a few others have been available to provide a substantial amount of suggestions when it comes to rules and mechanics, but there's a total disinterest from Staff to ask their playerbase for help and ideas. And no, the suggestions on the forums is not it. As stuff like this needs to be discussed in a real-time chat (Discord, Zoom, etc..). And I'm not saying that Staff should come to me. But at least involve people that are actually active IC every day.
  4. can you explain what youre personally doing to provide RP for other people? There are currently only 2 illegal factions that are providing RP for EMS, PD, SD & similar. And if you want to do illegal activities, expect to be robbed. If you don't want to get robbed go work freelance jobs, or do ATMs/Stores/Banks, which in turn will get you in trouble with cops which is arguably even worse as you're going to lose your stuff + going to DOC for an extensive amount of time.
  5. Nobody is saying that it's a bad idea. But the amount of "low" crims is far lower than the actual crim that are being starved for content. There's over 10 gangs that are completely dead because there's nothing to do and/or active people to recruit. How many "low" level crims are there these days? Compare that to the number of gang members that are asking for stuff to happen in terms of Development.
  6. The news letter was an amazing tool to provide insight to the players on whats going in the server. Some players don't even login anymore for a multitude of reasons, but when they check the newsletter, it sparks interest and makes them want to login which will bring more people around. Additionally, if factions are supposed to provide a weekly recap of their work and their promotions depend on that, why shouldn't the server set an example? There's certainly more than enough staff members to draft up a document that takes less than 30 minutes to create. Also, it goes very well in conjunction with the announcement about transparency and communication. What's better than a document that showcases this months development, next steps, most prominent IC events, any major change/update, Gang recaps (providing public feedback and commendations for the factions that are handling themselves well). https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/166378-eclipse-roleplay-monthly-newsletter-october-2024 It's been a full year since the last one, why has it been discontinued?
  7. what even is the obsession of having the planting around the map? I get it, it's kinda cool and would open up a new avenue for some low level crims, but it's nothing that amazing to be waiting 5 years (as you are saying). I don't think there's another person that wants it as bad as you do. If it gets added, I'll enjoy it yeah, but its so down the list of priorities that I don't really think it's ever going to happen. Also limiting scripts to time played is useless. Maybe you can tie it to your drug cooking level, then yeah.
  8. Yes, but the /do broken arm and /me wraps in bandage isn't healthy for the server. Both from a crim prespective and a cop one too. Some injuries can't be treated, and if extreme injuries happen (exploding in a car, falling from very high up, and other similar) the character should not be be able to be /cpr'd as it's very unrealistic. If you are a crim, and you just got shot 19 times in the head, you will get NLR'd, there's no way your buddies take you to pillbox and you go back into a fight. Same way for cops. If you just made someone fall from a 17 story building, shot him 250 times, and killed their entire bloodline, why should you be able to /cpr them? Just so you can also send them to DOC for 3 hours too? Introduce DeathRP for both sides.
  9. Half of the things you are saying make no sense at all. "you wanna see sweaty cops?" Do you want to see sweaty crims? Give them the ability to take that gun off of your back and show you how it's actually supposed to be used and not just spray and pray. You are basically implying that after adding this change, the server will randomly just turn into a full PVP server, which we all know is not true at all based on MULTIPLE reasons. 1) Nobody wants to get banned for PVP/NTHRP for a 6 hour gun 2) There's not enough crims to overwhelm PD/SD like that 3) Everyone has guns, we dont NEED your guns, we WANT your guns. If I engage in an RP scene with you, I want to get the guns off your back. 4) Nobody actually ENJOYS fighting PD/SD as it's almost always a loss due to a multitude of reasons. Additionally, the only reason your responses are so cocky and snobbing crims is solely based on the advantage that has been given to LEO's in the server. In an even playing field, crims would flatten PD/SD even in a 1:2 ratio. And not because of anything, because crims have evolved into having actual strategies while fighting, using their advantages and not relying on the exclusive treatment that PD/SD receives. But all of this babying that LEO's have gotten all these years have turned the majority of its members into NPC's, both in fighting scenes, in chases and whatever else involves PD/Crims. The only skilled LEO's are people that have mained crims for the longest time. Go actually hold some classes and lectures on how to chase a suspect, interception tactics, fighting strategy and how to properly backup and suppress fire. Only reason PD/SD wins fight is because you get backups from the other ones, and it turns into a 5v15 within 3 minutes. But if we are allowed to take your guns after killing you in those fights, then it's not as easy to kill crims on scene cuz then they'll have more bullet/ap's to play with, evening the playing field, but you don't want that right? :)))
  10. I literally suggested a treasury for PD/SD that would cover costs of deploying guns / equipment / vehicles. Mr Chief of Police didn't like that idea obviously, so what's the next suggestion? Each cop pays out of their own pocket for it. Please, if you are so much pro balancing out and not biased as you say, tell me how and why it makes sense for crims to pay for their stuff with their own money, but PD/SD NRP's everything, spawning stuff with NO LIMIT at NO COST with NO COOLDOWN. If you are not paying for it, the department is not paying for it, why can't a crim steal off of you? Are you afraid of crims going on cops to steal their guns? Well maybe don't be cruising around labs undercover like some of you guys do, trying to bait a fight or bait a reaction from people. Are you afraid of crims going on cops to steal their guns v2? Well maybe stop responding in 34 units on a random speeding traffic stop, leaving the other few units vulnerable. Start strategizing and compartmentalizing your units. Are you afraid of crims going on cops to steal their guns v3? Well maybe don't take out a bullpup MK'2 everytime you go on patrol and brandishing it at every traffic stop. Fuck around and find out man. Who are you (or me, if I was a LEO) to be held to a different standard? Why are rules different for you? If you see me with a gun IC, you'll call everyone and their mom to chase me until you'll get that gun off of me. Well, I want to do the same. If you don't want your gun taken, then maybe consider strategies that crims think of (Putting it in bags, putting it in the glovebox, putting it in crates, putting it in the trunk, etc..). You like hopping out your cruiser on a traffic stop with a Bullpup Mk2 on your back, but also like knowing that it can't be taken off of you? Well, you can't have both sides of the coin unfortunately man, and if you do, that is not fair for the rest of the server. Also, I couldn't care less what you do with my illegal belongings once I'm arrested, if you can sell them to recoup your money, than props to you. Because sure as shit you won't be able to go sell my radio/gps/clothes and whatever legal possessions I had, as that's a very easy IA report for mishandling evidence and tampering with evidence. So trust me, not a single crim would care about any cop going out of their way to be more of a dick. Furthermore, I hope you are aware that the vast majority of cops have literally the aim of toddler, giving them an additional reason to shoot won't really change much, as they'll barely be able to kill any moving target. The only real good shooters in PD/SD are people that used to be crims. Same goes with driving skills, if it wasn't for crim experience, PD/SD drivers would be straight ass. Bottom line being: PD - - NRP's spawning guns - NRP's spawning vehicles - Exempt from being looted - Able to have unlimited amounts of anything they want Crims - Have to pay out of their own pocket for imports - Have to manually go and pick it up - Once arrested/killed, liable to get their weapons confiscated Tell me how any of this is fair and balanced? If the roles were reversed, would you like it?
  11. That's not true at all. Unless you've been found guilty of "Intent to Distribute" and the vehicle is seized during the arrest, your assets are safe. If you want realism, maybe start a RICO charge on gang leaders, and lock them up for hours and hundreds of thousands in fines. Why is a low rank member risking the same as the highest rank? Nowhere in the world you get your house raided and assets seized for possession and/or minimal drug charges. IC most criminals are caught with either 1 batch of LSD (60) or with the drugs they have for fighting (2 blunts, 1 steroid, 1 heroin, 1 methadone). None of these 2 charges warrant asset seizure. Realistically, how many times have you arrested someone with the full 250 stack of drugs on them? Which is the only time you could argue that it's Intent to Distribute (going to sell to the dealer). I don't care about winning, nor do I care about making crims/cops better than the other. Mine are mere suggestions, are posted here to have discussions about it. But you cannot deny that LEO's are being held at a different standard. Touching the point of "because people already shoot cops too much for little reason". You seriously want to say that when cops are borderline DM'ing people on a daily basis, just because "you rammed me", "you robbed a bank", "you robbed a store"?? When in the world have you ever seen cops engage on Shoot to Kill on criminals that have not posed a direct threat to the police officer on scene? Even during hostage situations, there's never been a Shoot to Kill order unless multiple hostages have already been confirmed as dead.
  12. Making cops experience miserable is nobody's intention. The suggestion is purely to make things balanced, as realistically nothing is stopping you from retrieving equipment from an officer anywhere in the world, so I'm not entirely sure why cops on ecrp are exempt from that. You say if that's the case, you'll start taking our guns and items and selling them at the pawn shop? So you want to illegally sell our items, breaching SOP, tampering with evidence, just in order to make your money back for the equipement that YOU chose to take out? Seems like a very W mentality in my eyes.. How's wanting balance being naive? Why the naive comment is never done on crim nerfs suggestion? Also, that's exactly why. Why would a cop have millions in their bank? Where in the world do cops earn that much money? Where I'm from, cops earn slightly above average income, a little more for higher ranks, but not a single one of them is so rich that they do not need to spend any more money. So tell me now, why exactly are lootable cops detrimental to the status quo of the server? Or is it just a biased opinion?
  13. What does gang members at bennys have to do anything with AIR deployment? IRL a lot of mechanics are convicted felons or ex-felons. By eliminating the opportunity for crims to work as mechanics, you remove any type of legal RP for them, basically forcing them into strictly conducting crim activities. I dont see how a crim being a mechanic is so detrimental to the server. I've been a crim from day 1 that im in the server, I have no murder or attempted murder charge on my record. Why can't I be a mechanic exactly? Also, violent charges are enforced at mechanic shops, any violent felony gets you fired on the spot. And then theres the thing where Benny's isnt the same as PD. As I said, you could have a very very forgiving treasury that could be covering everything and then some, but having virtually u limited resources with no downside is not really realistic nor fair. P.S: Bennys operates at a deficit because everyone in PD/SD never has to repair any of their faction vehicles or personal ones :). Crims pay over $15/20k a week in repairs (definitely even more, but im being generous with the amount). If you include gas, that EASILY skyrockets to 30/50k altogether that we have to contribute in the economy. What about you? What does your faction contribute to the economy of the server? If I own a Gas Station, convenience store, clothing store, how many times am I going to see a cop enter the premises of my shop and purchase a product? Going back to the point, looting cops would be fun and a cery big change that could stir up the pot, making a lot of players come back and/or decide to stay for longer.
  14. Maybe have them get them funneled in by tickets, impound fees, % of seized assets (guns, drugs, etc..), and a myriad of other methods LEO's are getting money away from crims. In addition to that, there could be a base influx of money provided by LFM (weekly or monthly) that acts as a Government Funding for both departments. I don't see how and why this would be detrimental, as it would only increase realism and RP. So everytime you decide to take out Air1 for a spin, or cops cruising around in banshees, and cop cars left unattended because they have been permad and nobody can be bothered to go tow it themselves or try to despawn it, you think about the costs of it. Which in turn then creates more RP opportunities and financial job positions within LEO's factions. Maybe have the treasury be forgiving and lenient on all of this, but make it so clear and consistent abuse will actually be an issue for treasury.
  15. honestly making cops lootable and having the guns & AP available for 6 hours would open up so many RP scenarios Also improving the economy as not that many guns/ap will be needed from imports, as some RP scenes will be conduced with the LEO's guns/ap's. But also I think it's a good thing if there's some expenses for cops as well. Cops should pay a set amount when spawning weapons & equipement, either from their own pocket or from a treasury like every other faction. Once the guns are returned safely, then the money gets returned to the player. This prevents cops from /fl'ing 15 tazers and countless AP's. Of course prices of those guns/ap's could be a fraction of the illegal counterparts, like 2k for an AP, 2k for an assault rifle/service carbine, 5k for a bullpup MK2, and so on.
  16. Add a cooldown on /b's. 60 seconds. Easy solution.
  17. What does the OOC chat have to do with anything? IC'ly the hostage is the hostage. In not a single bank world wide cops have gone up to the robbers/hostage and were like "yoo gang let me see that license real quick, need to make sure i know your name". An hostage is an hostage. Period. You guys continue playing it like a fake hostage wouldn't get their brain blown by other members in order to save themselves IRL. What if he's a low rank, and just joined the gang? Which is exactly what the situation was. The hostage in that scene was a very very very new member to the faction, therefore realistically any gang member wouldn't be too attached to that person IRL in a bank robbery and would be treating them the same way as any other hostage. Also I'm not entirely sure what are you trying to achieve with posting the /f chat in here, when the PD/SD chat is an abomination most of the time, and it doesn't even get exposed in reports because the majority hits staff with "Will share privately as it contains staff chat / private chats / and what not". Also, that's not any metagaming whatsoever as there's not a single shred of advantage that could be gained by such chat. It's a mere discussion with gang members, that are currently stuck with no option to negotiate with the other party outside of the bank, because they have no interests in RP'ing but would rather have all the 20 people inside the bank arrested. So please don't lecture me about win mentality, when your own faction members shoot on sight for literal 0 reason, instead of opting for tires or warning shots or whatever. I should be allowed to take whoever I please as an hostage, random people on the street, mechanics, LEO's, even my own god damn dog if I see fit, and I don't understand how the life of a specific person is valued less just because of association and/or previous knowledge. Take it as an example, I left my previous faction and joined a new faction, in the time your detectives get their files updated with my affiliation, if I hit a bank I'm still under the previous organization, which would deny any potential knowledge you might have. In the case above, the person that was being used as a hostage was part of a completely different organization 1 or 2 days before the actual bank robbery, and let me tell you that I know for a fact none of your investigators had knowledge of that players faction switch. So not only you guys are denying any chance of our RP from our part for using our own gang members as hostage, you are now declining RP just because the person is a well known criminal. So yeah, when you want to talk about win mentality, go look in the mirror first.
  18. you do realize that all of these suggestions and comments are useless right? they wont fix the game breaking bugs, not even acknowledge them, let alone listen to our suggestions. We are just here discussing to pass time, none of these will ever get implemented. There's currently 7 pages of bug reports that are not even acknowledged. Reports in game are almost never taken, and they usually end up with "We are sorry, this is more than 30 minutes ago, please send a report on the forums!" by some poor Support that can't do much else. Decision Appeals take WEEKS. My latest decision appeal took 3 weeks! That's 504 hours!!!! How is that even possible?! Reports in forums take an awful amount of time to get reviewed, it's just a very select few that handle reports in a timely manner. (Big shout out to Squirtle, only admin that handles reports within a day or two). It's like when you submit a report for a rulebreak after you have been arrested, and the process takes longer than your DOC sentence, which then the scene gets voided. At that point, I don't even want it to get voided, I'm trying to avoid the 2 hours at DOC that I have to do, not recoup the 5k of fines. It's not just Devs, it's staff as a whole (or at least the majority) that have turned lazy. So yeah Demonmit, go craft the best suggestion mankind has ever seen, it will end up the same way as every other suggestion out there.
  19. To not talk about how apparently cops are using drugs themselves ahah. Let's also make the tazer be less effective for cadets, then the higher in rank someone is, the longer the tazer effects stays. Also, charges placed by trainees and cadets, last 30% less than higher ranks. Let's make it so every part of the PD/SD features, needs to be leveled up, as it seems like crims have to grind for all of their benefits, whereas as a PD/SD you literally have 0 disadvantages of being there for 1 day compared to someone that has been around for years in PD/SD. Whereas I have to go cook 10000 drugs (~100 hours of constant cooking) to be able to reach max level. Also, the "drugs" used by crims, it's literally just heroin. Nobody uses Coke, Meth, Crack, Ecstasy. Everyone is using blunts + steroids + heroin. And apparently, some of your own people roll around with drugs, so i dont know why you need to complain, since you guys are also apparently resorting to criminal methods illegaly, but we are scriptly prohibited from using LEO's equipment. Make it make sense. How about we instill muscle spasms for air1, when he's in the air for god knows how long, let's have a small chance for the script to randomly press F for the driver, so they fall to their death. At the end of the day, they've been driving so long, a muscle spasm is bound to happen. Or how about we have people that take multiple cruisers out in a pursuit be charged for all of those destroyed cruisers repairs. Why wouldn't he? Someone has to pay for those repairs certainly, no? But for the actual suggestion, maybe it could be better to balance all the drugs, so they all get introduced in the rotation, and not just Heroin. Heroin - 20% Damage Resist - 10% Slower Speed(Stackable) Ecstasy - 10% Damage Resist - 10% Increased Recoil(Stackable) Meth - 20% Increased Damage Output - 10% Less FOV LSD - 50% Increased Damage Output (You think 50% is a lot, but once you get flashbanged by the LSD midfight, you are 100% dead. So you either kill everyone within 2 minutes or you're fucked. High risk / High reward). Cocaine - 10% Less Recoil - 10% Less Health Crack - 20% Less Recoil - 20% Less Health This is how suggestions about crims need to be made if you want to balance them out. Give people something new, don't subtract stuff from a dire situation.
  20. you are just powergaming, you are acting on the fact that the people inside (hostage/robbers) will just respawn, regardless of the outcome of the bank. what if i passionately hate my gang member and this is my chance to kill him to free myself from a bank? what if the fellow gang member has left our gang recently and joined an adversary? how can you know for sure that I won't powergame like you, and just shoot him, cuz he's gonna respawn again right? you are wrong You guys pump people in the face for literal 0 reason as soon as they leave the bank, run them over with cars, rush in the bank knowing full well that each bank has at least 5-10 people, and you have the balls to talk about "play to win"? Oh please
  21. a hostage is a hostage, you got me fucked up if you don't think ill shoot my homie for a milli as you said, you can count on both hands the amount of people that do banks these days, even less the amount of people that you can realistically take as hostage with current rules. LEO's disregarding someone's life shouldn't happen, whether the hostage is a known affiliate or not is irrelevant. But yeah, ECRP LEO's dont give a fuck, there's literally 5 crims left in the city, start being more lenient
  22. I don't even think a script is required, as small properties the size of a 1G already exist, which are completely empty besides the 4 walls. So people that opt for that kind of house, they could receive one of those small property interiors. I'd instantly get one myself, I hate the layout of my 1G and 2G. common ArcAngel W
  23. That works as well. There's currently 3 slots that can be added to the personal inventory that doesnt take up inventory weight. Add 1 for beards, 1 for GPS and 1 for speaker. Spawning the NPC removes the logistics needed to be able to handle large amounts of cooking. If you remove the necessity of transporting mats back and forth, you remove the need for big vehicles to be used at labs. Meaning that I'll start showing up to 90% of labs in my drag, as the weapon and lysergic can easily fit in my pockets. There's the "Enter" that you can click that tells you "Door is Locked". But the amount of times we have had to double, triple, quadruple check is unnecessary. Make it so it's for VIP Diamond only I guess, or something. Nobody would like getting raided just because they didn't click "E" properly. Also there's still a bug where you get a full crash when entering/leaving buildings, leaving you open to people entering your house if they saw you go in. Exactly what I meant. 1 Universal locker for all of the departments. Hell at this point add 1 at bennys too for ease of access. What would the downsides be? I can't think of any that doesn't involve PD not being able to spot as many people chopping and/or driving the chops up north. If I don't like your voice, find you annoying, find you a nuisance, I should be entitled to ignoring you. In real life nobody is forcing me to come back to my Active RP scene. If you are a dipshit, I'm just walking away and minding my own business. Here, I have to listen to all types of random uncultured swines yelling and screaming and breathing in their mics. If I don't want to listen to you talk, I'm not really sure why I have to be forced to. Every online game has a mute feature for this exact reason. And if push really comes to shove, I can always /vol proximity 0 and be done with it. But I don't want to mute everyone.
  24. Hello fellow eclipsians No introduction needed, this is just a ton of QoL that honestly should have been implemented like yesterday. - Remove GPS from inventory. GPS doesn't have to be a thing that weighs your pockets down. Either make each character always have a GPS on as there's no downsides to that. There's a suggestion for the GPS to be in your phone when on, but that makes no sense, as 95% of crims have their phones off all the time, and keeping a GPS item in your glovebox and not your pocket will make you freeze everytime you get in/out of cars. - Increase storage size of Vending Machines Why is it 200 weight, but there's like triple the storage size? How does a night safe has the same storage weight inside as the vending machine? Make the Vending Machine like 1000. - Amount for Vending Machines A lot of people use vending machines to store chems, give us a slider or at least allow us to input the number of items we want to purchase in the vending machine so we don't have to sort all of our chemicals manually every time. In the popups that you have to type "GPS" then "Y", just add one that asks you how many you want to buy in numbers "Ammonia" "60" "y" Should be the sequence to retrieve it. - Slider for Humane For the love of god, why is this even something that needs to be discussed? The amount of carpal tunnel injuries that have been caused by Humane Labs is insane. Why do I have to exploit a glitch where I need to keep "Enter" pressed and spam left/right click to buy faster, otherwise it's 1 at a time?? Sometimes i go to humane with my Mule, which lets me buy 1200 materials, imagine clicking 1200 times in a row man. Just give us a slider to select how much we want to buy, easy. - Allow us to repair other peoples cars Tired of having my car taken and left god knows where cuz my friends fucking suck at driving and they can't repair it. What's the downside of having other people repair your cars? If I borrow someone's car, I'll make sure it gets repaired and refueled before taking it back. It's an additional small money sink for everyone. - Auto Lock for Houses Make it so the houses autolock 15 seconds after you get in/out. Or balance it however much you want. The amount of times I've had to save my POV just to go back and check if I actually closed my door. - /housestats Give us /housestats same as /vehiclestats, which shows the address of your house, and the status of it "Locked" or "Unlocked" or "For Sale" 10 Forum Drive - Locked 11 Forum Drive - Unlocked - For Sale - $190,000 - Central Hub for lockers. Whether my shit has been taken to Paleto or MRPD or DOC, why do I have to be the one cruising around the city, chasing cops because they do not give a fuck about your items? Make it so each police department has the universal lockers. If your legal items get put into a legal locker, all of the lockers in other departments will have the same items. Also make it so it expires after X amount of time, so it doesn't get congested and people start actually losing their items. Doing this will create an influx of players visiting these areas, potentially also creating RP scenarios. - Location share Allow us to send the marker we have on our map to someone, either via a phone app, or via a cmd like /shareloc ID - which will just set the GPS marker to the marker you have on your map. I'm tired of telling people, "so yeah, you see MRPD? keep going straight, then buss a left, then buss a right, then buss another left" Let me just share where the fuck I need a pick up from, thank you. /shareloc ID /acceptloc - Safe storage I want to store crates/bags/items without having to put them in my pockets. Add a "Store" to safes. - Stop Radio from cancelling certain actions. Chopping/Gun Repair/ and others.. get cancelled if your radio or /r - Add a permanent chop spot in the city It's insane how City Scrapyard doesn't have a Chop Shop set up. Why the only 3 chop shops are all the way up north in the city? Remove the one at North Lab cuz honestly nobody ever chops there, and add it to city Scrapyard. Which makes much more sense, since everyone wants to pretend we are a "high level RP server". - Introduce more labs in the city Vinewood, Chumash, Great Chaparal, Observatory, Airport, Buen Vino, LFB, Kortz, and other places lack any type of POI whatsoever, why?? Just chuck a few labs there, maybe some more planting spots?? Is it too much to ask for?? - /mute ID 1/2/3 Allow us to mute specific players 1 - Proximity / 2 - Radio / 3 - Both. The amount of times where I've felt like breaking my headset in half because there's someone with a $3 microphone breathing and panting inside his mic at an event. Why? Just why? Let me mute whoever I wanna mute. They can be notified that Player 1 has muted you, so he knows to just use text to interact with you. - Remove Car Speakers, /carurl available natively (or via a mod in /modview) MANNNNNN LET ME LISTEN TO MUSIC WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT DAVID THEANGEL STEALING MY CAR SPEAKER PLEASE. IT'S MUSIC, HELLO? - Group Chats Allow us to create group chats, for binds, to fuck around, to have fun, for me to text all my hoes in-game at the same time. Let me live my life! If someone deletes the chat from their phone, they get removed from the group. Thank you everyone for coming to my TED Talk.
