Yes, that's what I'd like to see as well. If the limit on the influence is 2/hour from tags, let's make it so the maximum amount of tags reflects that. So if Gang X has half and gang Y has half, they both get 1 influence each. But like this its so hard to calculate and keep up. Also, it's just such a waste of time to spray tag 400 tags every day just to have a petty beef in an online video game.

yeah and when eventually everyone in the server makes it to lvl 100, everyone's gonna have lysergic 70% cheaper and be able to plant marijuana all over the map?
-
As the title says. There's territories with 300-400 tags, it seems like there's an unlimited space for tagging. First of all it's going to impact performance when entering that area, then secondly, it's unreasonable to be spraying for 1 hour straight with the same effect. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Thoughts on removing the market section from forums

please bring it back, life invader's marketplace is straight dogshit -
Yeah but if I do that I get Fear RP. How's that reasonable? Where's our option as a crim to choose death over being arrested? The cop loses nothing if they decide to give up and run away. A criminal loses money, equipment, vehicles and all of that if they decide to just give up. How is it possible that such actions are permitted as an LEO but not as a criminal, when in reality it should be the other way around?
-
Does it really apply to all factions? How would you consider an Helicopter being shot by at least 5000 bullets a minute, circling back instead of leaving the area? Wouldn't that be considered as breach of FearRP? Because that's what happened at the Kutte Throat operation, when the gangs were holding the roof, an helicopter started getting shot by over 60 people with heavy weapons, and instead of completely leaving the area, said helicopter kept flying at very close range instead of caring/fearing for their lives. (This is one of many many many examples, which I can list if needed) And I don't mean to throw shade in any way, I'm just underlining the fact that there are some discrepancies when it comes to illegal vs legal factions, and there's no denying that.

-1 Why are we trying to nerf literally every crim aspect? What's so overpowered about criminals that every suggestion needs to be a nerf? Isn't the situation that happened last night with LEO's vs Gangs more than enough as proof that the server is pretty LEO favored? (as it should be). You think that hitting a blunt will restore your HP fully, it takes a while to get your HP back, and in the middle of a shoot out, you're not going to use more than 1/2 blunts. This can't be a thing because certain actions cannot be done with a blunt in your hand. You need to /toss or /flick before you can do those actions. Meaning that if you have to hit your blunt to recover your HP, you cant do the other things. IRL a blunt wont stop you from doing stuff, any experienced smoker can hold a blunt/cig in their mouth without issues. Additionally, keep in mind that crims have to go pick the plants, cook the plants, have the blunts on them (risking of losing it), for what? Just for that to be nerfed? What's the next suggestion going to be? Illegal weapons do 50% less damage to LEO's? Non legal character will have their HP capped at 50%? Isn't 200 AP, all the guns you can think of, virtually unlimited ammo thanks to /fl, unlimited plates thank to /fl, armored vehicles, etc.. more than enough for PD/SD to have a CLEAR advantage during shootouts? Want to balance it? Sure. Make it so sellable Weed is a different item from the one you smoke, then make the smokable have a max stack of 5.

If you aren't the owner of the vehicle, or have keys to that vehicle, if you attempt to take out items from the glove box you should have a skill check (5-10). It is very annoying that someone can literally just hop in, steal your car speaker, weapon and what not in a split second, without being able to /me and /do to /eject someone. Especially with car speakers, it's very NRP to be able to just snatch it out in a second. Additionally it would be nice if you were able to lock the glovebox so it can't be accessed without keys to the vehicle (As in real life, you can lock the glovebox using your car key). And if someone wants to break into it, they will either need to pick lock it or use bolt cutters.

whats the suggestion here? since when people need FM approval to change their gang relations?

This is strictly IC, there’s no OOC repercussions needed for this. Nothing is stopping you from baiting cops in a chase IRL. But what should be considered NRP is the action of involving 90% of the LEO’s online for that chase, when no crime has been committed (or at least witnessed) other than just the evading. I’ve seen countless time, and had the displeasure of experiencing that myself, 10 cruisers + air 1 + 1/2 Shinobis chasing a car, just because they didnt stop when they got pulled over. The player that requests that much back up for such a scene should receive NRP punishments, since it’s very unrealistic to use such a budget for such a minor felony. Especially when it involves multiple departments, that’s borderline crazy. I would get it if shots were fired, then it’s all hands on deck. But just because someone in a La Couruese doesnt stop when pulled over, it doesn’t mean he’s the leader of the next terrorist organization. They didn’t pull over? Great! Chase the car You can’t catch up? Well sucks for you, put a BOLO out and go on with your life, they’ll show up again eventually. What RP are you contributing when chasing down someone? The final “/me attempts to cuff ID” and them going “/do able”. That’s the whole RP done by PD/SD once they caught the criminal. But if you follow Demonmit’s suggestion, you put a BOLO out, you involve other officers that are going to look out for said car, once the car is found you can then call mechanics to impound the vehicle, then the player needs to go back to impound to retrieve the vehicle; or even better, show up at Mission Row to ask why their vehicle got impounded. You see the difference in RP when making simple changes?

What happened to the vehicle sale forum or am i blind

LifeInvader is strictly IC, how's that metagaming? -
Illegal Mechanic NPC that can Repair any vehicle brought to them.
Toxine replied to Demonmit1's topic in Criminal Suggestions
I've suggested this in the past as well, and I honestly don't see any downsides at all with this being implemented: Have the invoice of mechanic repairs go to the driver of the vehicle instead of the owner of the vehicle. This also increases work for mechanic since more people will flow in to repair cars they don't own. -
-1 - That's borderline meta gaming. In real life the only way of knowing if your friend is awake, is by texting/calling them. Also, what if this friend of yours doesn't want you to know that he's in town?

Yes I totally agree. There definitely needs to be a rebalance of it though, but private labs need to be implemented as well. Since public labs just fuel the PVP mentality of some people. The solo crim that just wants to make a little money to buy the next cheap car or what not, is required to strap up in order to go to the public lab. Without even mentioning how rolling labs has become a daily thing, monopolizing labs by bigger gangs. Realistically, you could cook anywhere you wanted to. This system just benefits larger groups and puts smaller crews/solo crims at a huge disadvantage. And in my opinion it should be way around, it should be incentivized for smaller groups/solo crims to want to do crim stuff, and not discourage them because “i will get pushed by people rolling 6 deep with AK’s and 100AP” I don’t see the difference between a private chop and a private lab. Both are a great risk that the players need to take in order to have that benefit at their disposal. They can be robbed, they can be raided by police, and what not. The server should always (in my opinion) try to incentivize beginners to do stuff, and balance things so bigger groups dont monopolize everything. If someone wants to create a new gang, it’s kind of hard for them to start working properly (not saying its impossible), because there’s bigger groups that hold 3/4 labs at a time, and there’s very little they can do about it. My suggestion would be limiting the number of tables available per property (Maybe 3-3-3 or 2-2-2) and increase the prices of the tables drastically. If you want to make drugs, you should be looking at very expensive tools and equipment. Also, can also be added that tables will eventually wear off (durability) so people will have to keep re-buying them. This adds RP to the server, having people interact with other bigger gangs to import them. Also, labs can be rebalanced as well, to provide more tables for larger groups, so both parties can be happy. At the end of the day, removing private tables doesnt really improve RP that much, it just improved people’s PVP mentality. Nobody gors up to a lab to RP. Everyone shows up armed up to their teeth trying to rob people. And the rp is always /me pats 15 down /do able? /do yes Steals everything, fucks off to the next lab. That’s the whole interaction. And that just discourages people to show up to labs, especially new players that want to learn how to cook.
