I am sorry that some actions made by an officer made you want to leave the game and not join back. While I was not the officer, I can say this. Individuals within the LSPD faction are encouraged and supposed to keep this in mind when enforcing face concealment, especially in areas where people commonly log out. I'm unable to share specific details; however, an incident happened in the past that brought this concern up, and face concealment enforcement has dropped drastically, and as mentioned, should not occur at these locations unless you have willingly stood there for some time. An officer has watched you not be afk, or not just logged in. As mentioned before, if you did get treated in a way that you believe is unjust. Doesn't matter what or of what severity. Please do file an IA report or a roleplay feedback form. It takes a few minutes, but it does help, and it does work.

Yes, I have also had this issue and it is well-known within the departments.

70 - 75% cheaper is a bit much. Would mean a Pistol.50 costs what, 750? And a Bullpup 6250?

Who is the suggestion for? Literally everyone. Crim and LEO would all benefit. Why is the suggestion being made? Far to much metagaming happens with the usage of the scoreboard. If you see an ID and want to see who it is, just check the ID. If you see someone you think might be an undercover? Just check XP. What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? PROS: Will reduce a good amount of meta gaming possibilities. CONS: Cant really think of one as ive never seen the XP counter being used for anything other than metagaming. If there is something im unware of tho, let me know. How should the suggestion be implemented? Just keep the scoreboard and remove the XP counter on it.

GND and or normal cops are not allowed to "make up" reasons to pull you over and search everything you own. Searching a vehicle and or yourself is only allowed under certain circumstances. I'm going to mention what Silky mentioned above: IA reports do actually matter, and they do work. They aren't just texts you write up that have absolutely no impact on the receiving individual. If said individual did something wrong, for example, by searching you for no actual reason. They will get punished for said action. While these punishments are not public to you, they still do happen. Something to note, however, you are not aware of what happens from PD's side behind the curtains. You might get pulled over for "no reason", but in reality, it might have been a 2-month-long case file you were investigated for. So while it might have at the time felt like a made up reason, in reality it might have not been. But if you do feel it was, make an IA report. They dont have to be long, you rarely even have to have IC footage of the situation.

Weapon Serial Number doesnt match the type of weapon.
RustyOsprey2 replied to RustyOsprey2's topic in Confirmed Bugs
@TimmaayyIt has indeed happened several more times since, however I have not updated this thread. I had a Pump Shotgun come back as a Pistol.50 and a another weapon with similar issues however I do not remember which gun. Someone from PD mentioned that it has something to do with the drops. If someone orders multiple different guns in one drop it will make the gun type the same across all serials numbers in the drop. If this is true or not is beyond me. -
The REAL reason ECRP is in it's current state. (Opinion Piece)
RustyOsprey2 replied to Marksy's topic in Forum Suggestions
Criminal factions shouldnt have to wait a year to be able to import Pistol .50s and 50 AP. Thats beyond absurd. The tier criteria is absolute garbage, and it takes months to years for factions to get to a point where they are able to import basic things such as Assault Rifles. I think someone already said it, but the turf spray system that gives you passive points to your dealers is the most shit thing ever added. A few months ago, gangs had meetings with other gangs and discussed ways to increase relations. This would be giving car parts, drugs, packed cash etc to be able to keep your dealers happy. And in return, you as the bigger gang give them imports, lower tax on said imports, or just the safety of having you as an ally. Now you just have to put a few spray paints on your turf and boom you are done. Great implementation! SEVERELY reduce the requirements for the faction tiers. It should take maybe 3 months max to be able to reach a spot where you can import a fucking Pistol .50. Remove the god awful spray turf system. -

Well said Marks, glad someone had the guts to speak so openly about it. Especially someone with experience from all sides, LEO, Crim and Staff like yourself. I enjoyed every moment of RP with you, sad to see you go however everything comes to an end eventually. -
Date and time (provide timezone): All the time, not time related. Game Edition (Legacy/Enhanced/both): Legacy but id guess both since its probably server side. Character name: Rondal Olsson Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: Twice Issue/bug you are reporting: If an individual is processed at DOC, and later on log out of the server while still imprisoned. If an additional charge is placed on the individual while they are logged out, that will not get added onto their sentence. When they log back on they will not get an additional arraignment form, in turn making the charge not add onto their time and instead stay as an active charge when they get released. Expected behavior: They should get the Arraignment form when they log back on if an additional charge has been added. Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Steps already explained above. Vehicle license plate number*:

Greetings ECRP. There is something I would like to discuss, something that everyone knows about. Death RP. When a criminal is involved in a situation, in which they eventually get downed. MD, PD and SD will have to treat them to ensure their survival. Now here comes the issue, the person injured wants to avoid their sentence, and the person treating you wants to keep you alive so you can serve your sentence. This usually ends up being a /me and /do war between the two, the suspect stating realistically they would already be dead, etc etc. Now I totally get that, if you get 20 GSWs to the body you should without a doubt be dead. If you are in a car that literally explodes, realistically you also should be dead, etc. Now of course we have to take into count that this is also a game. And treating individuals like one would IRL for GSWs would physically be impossible, and only ever happens if AMU is able to get you into surgery. What do people think about this whole system. A criminal dying after being shot 20 times is something that makes sense RPly, but LEOs and MD are not allowed to just let you die without themselves being subject to issues. And reporting someone who eventually does die for stalling rp / powergaming is a massive waste of time and most dont bother.

Something I believe I suggested during my short time in MD. Taking someone yourself to the hospital in the form of the /dropbody, should have increased cost. Right now it costs what, 1000$? Im not completely sure but somewhere around there. Being taken by trunk to said location should have its cost increased, and the wellness you get afterwards should be way worse than if you get taken by MD, PD and SD. Additionally, being taken to the hospital by MD, PD and SD should be free.

Buff Fishing, make it more enjoyable but still something that people can just basically "afk" farm. They can sit there talk to their mates while fishing and not having to pay much attention to it. Reduce prices of burgershot food and increase the pay the freelance job gets. People will start going to burgershot more, and the pier will be blooming.

PD and SD wont deploy high-speed vehicles unless you yourself are in a high-speed vehicle. PD and SD wont deploy a BF400 or a Kamacho unless you yourself are in an off-road vehicle. PD and SD wont deploy AIR unless you yourself are in a high-speed vehicle or an off-road vehicle where you are likely to evade and be hard for ground units to catch. PD and SD literally just match whatever you are doing. It is in no way unfair at all. If you are driving a non high-speed vehicle. PD and SD will chase you in Buffalos or similar vehicles. It is only when you decide to abuse the speed of high-speed vehicles to attempt to easily evade from police after you have committed crimes, that PD and SD decide to bring out a high-speed vehicle to avoid you simply getting away within seconds.
-
People seem to think that as soon as you join PD you get access to 175 AP, Bullpup MK2, Carbine rifles, Helicopters, High Speed vehicles etc etc. This couldnt be further from the truth.

+1, the mans appearance is the most useless shit in existence.

I made a "similar" suggestion regarding the non-script cameras a while ago. So yes +support.

Hey, Right now, we have Scriptly supported cameras that you can buy at furniture stores. They work properly, you can place them, cut the wires, check footage, and so on. The issue is with the default GTA 5 map cameras. These are the ones already placed in stores or around the city. You cannot scriptly interact with them at all, but they are still being used as in-character evidence. Example: You walk into a store, cut the wires on the script camera, and rob the place. Police show up, see the wires were cut, but then say there is also a GTA default camera in the store and use that to pull footage. You had no way to scriptly disable it or interact with it, but it still gets used against you. That does not make sense. I understand why this was the system before. When script cameras did not exist, it made sense to rely on the map props. Same with bodycams, since those do not have script support yet. But now that we have working and interactive cameras, it feels strange that every default camera on the map still counts as active and usable. If script cameras are the only ones players can interact with, then they should be the only ones that are valid for in-character evidence. I understand the fact that you can simply RP breaking them. But it does not make sense to have a script to support cameras, and still expect players to RPly brake all non-script cameras around the area. Yes this is a cope post.
