Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
Cup replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
In either case i would think the logical cap would be 144 or 150 for the people with gaming monitors. I would be all for enhanced being the default IF it wasnt for the fact that enhanced is a mess that im not sure rockstar has any intentions on fixing -
Text RP is a part of the server. We also have plenty of players who only type!

Could also make it a "freelance job" kinda thing for crims to smuggle drugs from cayo to the labs. Tho i havent thought this all the way through so maybe thats a terrible idea XD

+1 I have always thought having your license/badge be a physical item would be a great addition to RP as it allows much more fluid hiding of your id or stashing somewhere without having to go through the headache of confirming someone did the RP to hide it and so on. In addition it balances it out because on the downside if you stash your ID. You just don't have it on you so you cant just choose to magically have it again when its convenient you actually would have to go back and get it or get a new one at the city hall (or DMV)

I love the idea of like.... earning the right to get rare (meaning its pure chance if you can get one or not so its not farmed ) house robberies that require a group. It encourages making friends/allies and thats always good ^.^
-
I don't mind this idea with hobs additions. Seems like a good compromise to me as the current system is buggy and generally unfun (especially when a random gun jam forces your character to sit still for a few seconds all but guaranteeing your death if it happens at an inopportune time)

"why do cops need sports cars that go 240.... easy, its to have epic long amazing RP chases throughout the city.... so why the fuck do they also need a helicopter flying above said chase? imo its one or the other, they do not need both " only going to reply to this bit as its because to put it simply noone evades in anything that does less then 220-240 anymore. Even cars that really shouldn't do 240 (kamachos) do because of people (on both sides) having 350+ fps edited: Wanted to add im not saying this is ideal just that thats how it is at the moment.

I would be more in favor of something like this. Like it would make no sense for OTF to back up rooks at a fight. But alliance backing up lost for example is logical.
-
While I would be in favor of looking at the rule and modifying it i don't think an outright removal would end well.
-
I did not even consider this but it would be an excellent compromise

Two simple ideas to help cure a major inconvenience at the moment. (not sure how simple either would be to implement but ya) PRISON/JAIL INVENTORIES Have a "separate" inventory whilst someone is /prisoned or /jailed. The idea being that they could keep all their "legal" belongings on them during an arrest but once they are prisoned or jailed their inventory would be empty. However upon release they switch back to their normal inventory and all their belongings are given back to them. UPSIDES- No more having to sit at a leo station or spamming the buzzer at DOC trying to get your gps and radios back. DOWNSIDE- Removes a bit of interactive RP and also would remove the ability to sneak items like knives or radios into prison without ALT RP. That is my less liked option because it removes RP possibilities from both criminals and doc/leos. PERSONAL LOCKERS My second thought that i think would be much better but possibly harder to implement. We currently store peoples belongings in a "legal" locker that LEOS/DOC can access. A change to this could be keep the current system where those factions are able to access ANY locker (while on duty) to store items however make it that players are able to access THEIR locker. This would allow the lockers to be placed closer to each respective areas front desk and allow people being released to retrieve their personal items at their leisure. UPSIDE- Removes the almost additional punishment of struggling to get your things back after serving your sentence while removing very little in the way of RP. DOWNSIDE- Not much of a downside but it would remove the RP interactions of retrieving items. Possibly would require a separation in the code/rules for legal/illegal lockers

calling this an exploit is kind of misleading as the 100% save file is recommended to everyone just to make sure all the areas of the map are accessible
-
+1 i love every single bit of this.
-
This is is actually just a suggestion overall but SPRAY TAGS need to be limited to certain amount per area.... so you dont have people spraying 800 tags onto a turf
-
+1 please I dont like smooshing my car to park it
-
I wasn't trying to make you look bad! XD As a method of acquiring methadone not involving MD has been added this will be archived for now.
-
With the addition of the NPC that lets you buy methadone ( at a large upcharge) I don't see this is necessary. In addition it removes interactive RP with MD and ... well it doesn't make sense. All the other drugs cooked by crims atleast somewhat make sense for a criminal to be able to create. Methadone is a pill created in a labratory as it is a synthetic (not grown naturally) drug.
-
There is a limit on how much affect you can get from tags already so maybe just limit the max tags in a turf to the maximum amount needed for that max effect.

Cleaning Graffiti should be cheaper from a civ perspective
Cup replied to Iriael's topic in Civilian Suggestions
price can stay the same imo for microfibers just give it like 5 uses instead of one when cleaning a tag -
I mean. To play devils advocate 4 of the 5 new banks are all up north. Alot of the higher level archeology stuff is also up north I am all for more stuff to do however XD

While even the best of us TRY to not react to that sort of thing its just hard not to even subconsciously. For example even if you try your best to ignore the ID in the trunk you might see it light up green when someone speaks and immediately know its coming from the trunk.
-
Simple suggestion. I think it would be neat and make RP flow more naturally if a persons ID was automatically hidden if they are in the trunk of a vehicle.
