FearRP, Ruleplaying, NonRP, and Law enforcement.
SquirtleSquad replied to Demonmit1's topic in Rules Suggestions
Server rules are for all players, Law Enforcement, crim, GOV, MD, BurgerShot worker, Joe Doe walking down the street. There's not "server rules only for LEO" and "server rules for non-LEO". Factions have their own internal policies, but end of the day, you break FearRP whether LEO will or won't shoot. A gun is a gun is a gun. -
I would like to know why everyone thinks that their guns are going to decay after a week. That's not the case. You can get a gun repair kit to fix them back to 100%. It's a change that I feel is needed on the server, and honestly helps with gang relations more. This is honestly a W win, and since it being brought back, hasn't been around long enough for people to be that worried about it yet. As with every change on the server, give it time. If you're that worried about "losing gun" due to decay, remember this is an RP server, not Skyrim where you horde potions to just never use them.

I'm not a fan of adding more scripted things like this to the server. There's a reason /me's and /do's exist. You could easily go up to someone and if they are roleplaying being under the effects of drugs, you can initiate roleplay with them. Otherwise, personally, I don't fully see a need for it. It's a cool idea in theory, but we already have means to do this.

Sadly the window shattering thing is not due to vehicle damage but RageMP desync. The damage itself is merely visual damage.

Well there's no need to make a personalized attack. My comment was towards the countless number of responses saying "PD has access to 175 AP or 200 AP" as a factual statement of today, thus assisting with spreading clarification. If you felt my comments were demeaning, then I don't know what to tell you, but look at all my comments in here which was aimed at discrediting this outdated information. They weren't demeaning, and people should focus on the now and what could be done to improve the now. My responses have only been when people still are under the premise that LEO's still have access to high AP values in their faction loadout.
-
The comment which you are quoting stems around 175+ armor. 150 is 25 less than 175. The highest value of armor that can be obtained in the /fl menus is 150. Go look at Osborn's comment. Stop misdirecting and misquoting. We're not talking about "then", we're talking about now. Since the clothing update, the highest armor that could be equipped, locked under specific divisions, is 150. This has been cleared up multiple times since the clothing update dropped and yet it is still a false statement that everyone circles back to. Both of you go read this comment from Osborn who breaks down the armor with photos. Or better yet, look at Silky's post which has a video of it a few comments down. Stop focusing on the past and look at the now.
-
They don't. Story never changed, statement was the same whole way through. Next time quote me. Thanks! That photo wasn't 175+ AP.

Last time I'm going to say this. PD/SD does not have 200AP. Get off this echo chamber that they are with 200AP. If everyone is going to make this accusation, and constantly says "yes but", "we all know", or "I've heard this" or "X said so", then present that evidence from recent situations. Otherwise, move on from the AP values, as that's been debunked. These arguments and statements are along the lines of the 20 YouTube Channels "proving a Flat Earth". I will post this here, as this has been said by Senior Staff (Osborn specifically) multiple times surrounding this. Discuss other things you want balanced and keep it tasteful.
-
Read what I wrote just under it.
-
Please give this a read through regarding general LEO weapon and armor usage, as Osborn carefully took the time to debunk and clarify a lot of things from SD's side. Now before you start spouting that the issue is PD, note that he touches on areas that are for both PD and SD.
-
This tread will be monitored, but as it has been mentioned in the past for LEO's: They do not have 175, 200, 500, 5000000 AP available. Anything beyond 100 is reserved for special divisions and under special circumstances. The fact that this rumor continues to be spread despite multiple High Command of PD and SD debunking this is just outlandish. Stop spreading this, and move on to ACTUAL meaningful discussions.

As much as I would absolutely love this, this would require a lot of mod development, and we'd have to ensure that the doors would remain unlocked. However, as Head of AMU, I can tell you now that the amount of AMU RP that comes in wouldn't make this worth the time and effort for development and modding. We currently have an ICU/OR ward, and we have private patient rooms, however this requires a member of MD, preferably AMU, to be there as we have to lock doors and such.

Ways to increase player count in ECRP

W are not going to turn this thread into a PD vs Crim argument. Keep on track, or the thread will be archived. -
Locked and archived per the posters request.

This is not something that I can foresee being implemented into this server. As it has been stated multiple times by others, there are instances where younger individuals are very mature, provide good quality roleplay, and worth being able to play here. People who don't belong on the server get sorted by their ability to follow the server rules. People in factions get appropriately sorted by their ability to follow their factions rules. I personally would not want people submitting photos of themselves (easily spoofed), identification forms (passport, state/drivers license, etc), nor using their bank account to provide verification (this would all ultimately fall under 3-4 people allowed to do this for good reasons) of age. This is a severe breach of trust to warrant this.
-
As Hector said, there have been many individuals who have joined the server who are under 16 who have had many positive contributions. There isn't really a way for us to impose an age restriction, as there's no way for us to govern that. While the game itself has an age rating, this is an RP server, and the only place that has age restrictions is specific legal factions due to the nature of the RP one can encounter.
-
As this was fixed, I'll be archiving it.

I can see either side of this. This could potentially expand people into opening up their own private shop where they launder for crims at a tax, allows for expanded operations for LEO's, but also this would ultimately just completely kill off laundry mats entirely. Like there would be no point in going to one of the public ones at all. 20k is not that hard to make to get started. I see pros and cons to it, but I don't think with the general direction of wanting more interactions, more politics, that this would be integrated.

Exactly this. You guys know how many reports we'll get in game because someone said in OOC chat "save pov"? Like, personally, I get it, it's annoying to see, read, and have to deal with as a player, but like sometimes people will say it out of frustration, then go back and review their footage and decide its not that big of a deal, or they will see they actually don't have footage of it.
-
This has already been addressed many times, and people are encouraged to use /pm's to request saving POV. An announcement was made by Lewis in Discord on 29/NOV/2023 Just save your POV and if it ends up not being reported, then that's that. However, there shouldn't be a "boy who cries wolf" scenario. Just save your POV and continue on with your roleplay. https://discord.com/channels/229240178441584645/229240248687656960/1168300788158845089

[DISCUSSION] The Pier Restoration and Hotspot Project

There are some great and amazing ideas here, would also give MD's Lifeguard Division a bit more RP as well as they'll be able to deploy and patrol around to assist those stranded, injured, lost, etc. Love it! +1 BRING BACK THE PIER- 39 replies
