ItzKnight Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 This is just a idea, i wanna see what people think about it. A first person only POV (no more third person) the reason im suggesting this is it would make the game so much more realistic as you would only be able to see what your player see's. it would also improve the role-play side of all situations and increase the realism. this does have a advantage to people wont be able to third person POV cheat anymore eg - looking over walls and looking around at people when there player is looking forward and much more. 1
AnnoyingOne Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 Have you ever seen someone walking while in first person and they were just sliding around? That is first person mode in gt-mp. In this state, its bugged way to much to force first person, although I do use it for myself most of the time. 1
ItzKnight Posted January 25, 2018 Author Report Posted January 25, 2018 haven't seen tbh i use first person 95% of the time myself so
juniornyc Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 Yea it's so funny just seeing them slide up to your DMs lol. Im down with First Person though but GG to driving causee keyboard driving on first person NOT FUN.
juniornyc Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 Nah cop chases aint fun in First Person lmfao
Commander783 Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 I would appreciate it. Although we would be in need of some high quality mirrors for our vehicles, so that we have better visibility looking around.
Triple Seven Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 Mirrors and FOV increase would be a huge requirement and even then I wouldn't like it. I like the 3rd person aspect
Phil McGee Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 (edited) Id like to give a go to be honest. But a lot of players feel they need that advantage of looking over walls etc. and dont want the immersion. Edited January 25, 2018 by Phil McGee
ItzKnight Posted January 25, 2018 Author Report Posted January 25, 2018 (edited) awesome @Phil McGee. TBH looking over a wall is a clear violation of meta-gaming using information your character wouldn't know to your advantage, so the people that find it necessary to do that can ruin the game for the other players as they're cheating so another reason i suggested this to to get rid of that aspect of the third person cheaters. Phil McGee Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 I know it's a different game but it was the same in dayz . The first person servers were so much more intense. If you can see them, they can see you. And if you peak there is both risk and reward. I actually spent a few hours in first person today. Quite enjoyed it. 1
Rasemus Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 I really don't know about this one - On one side it could be very awesome with only first-person if it wasn't bugged. People tend to use the looking over wall etc. without always thinking about it and uses it for their advantage. But then again I like the 3rd person too - And just wish people wouldn't ruin the RP experience for others by doing this. 1
Kris Posted September 17, 2018 Report Posted September 17, 2018 Right now - being in first person makes your character walk bugged as already mentioned here. Perhaps in the future.
