This decay system genuinely does not affect LEOs in any way shape or form so I’m not particularly sure why this is even a conversation we are having.

I actually had to repair my legal Pistol .50 once that sits empty in my house because im never off duty. effected my financial situation greatly.

guns decay script itself is good but it feels unrealistic and still mr jason wants it to be more nerfed, weapons shouldnt decay while sitting unused, it would make more sense if they decay when being used and not at all when they're stashed or whatever.

-1,
one – this is coming from an LEO where the change won’t affect him at all.
two – it’s unrealistic. Funny how sometimes changes are made to make the game “realistic,” and then other changes make zero sense.
three – for a server where gangs could only tier up through PVP dominance, I don’t think this helps at all. (FM did change, but we haven’t seen their work yet.)
four – it does not affect the person suggesting it.
five – if you get injured and arrested you lose your weapons, your time, and you pay fines.
six – if your gun is at one hundred and you get injured it becomes fifty, but if it’s at forty it becomes twenty. So the better the condition of the weapon, the worse the outcome… makes no logic.
seven – I think I mentioned it before, but it still doesn’t affect the people upvoting.
eight – Crims already lose a lot of guns from cops and crims; no need to add more.
nine – W ragebait, but staff might actually believe the suggestion.

PS: Suggestion should be made to change your own experience not others.
Its like a crim saying LEOs should do more IC paperwork RP

bro he's a ragebait take it with a grain of salt.
just pissed his crim experience was full of screaming out the lungs and OOC toxicity, every gang dying out and disbanding, and wants others not to enjoy what he couldn't enjoy.

as a crim watched him complain about PD regarding the very things he did on his GND char.

nothing personal but i had to say it how I see it.

You should read all of hes posts and comments. He really doubles down on everything. Especialy crim. he does seems like a cop who wants nothing else but stand on the side of the road taking speeding tickets, with 0 challenge all by himself. If you read all hes stuff you almost start to think he just hates humans and everything they do 😂

DSO / NHTRP behavior IMO.

so when you made this suggestion about PD you were wrong to do so?

I was in PD, as I already mentioned in the first three lines 'Myself Being in one of the...'. (I have proof too)
Crazy how you went digging for something from 2021 just to reply to my comment. That’s exactly why I don’t like replying or making any suggestions. People never want to take a step back and understand someone else’s point of view they just want to reply and prove they’re right.

Edit: That was a good suggestion back then, can’t lie. LEO alts targeting rival gang just because they could. We literally just saw the change with Silky’s new GND policy.

This suggestion starts with a false premise. It is not NRP to have gun stashes. Literally half the people in my state have 30+ guns cause yee haw. Secondly if your first premise is it's NRP to have a big stash then how come the fix suggested is NRP cause how does getting shot automatically ruin your gun durability. Dropping a gun from a standing position unless it lands a very specific way will not do serious damage. But with how you'd be holding a gun when you get shot most likely it would land on its side. Unless it landed on the sight or charging handle it would not do serious damage.

its how other games manage their economy, past the realism aspect, its unhealthy for the game economy if people have hundreds if not thousands of guns stored in mint condition forever.

The issue that arises is this doesn't hurt the folks with big stashes at all. Just the small time crims that already have massive overhead in their day to day work. Me it doesn't affect. Newer people who show up trying to get into crim though will be massively messed over. They work to buy a gun. Risk said gun to get into a fight and what do they get? Useless gun that when repaired will be too messed up to use.
