penguinkibble Posted March 3, 2025 Report Posted March 3, 2025 Almost every time I’ve tried to flee from the police on a motorcycle, the police have tried to pit maneuver and/ or crash into my motorcycle to end the chase. Today, I was evading on a motorcycle, and the police crashed into me with ANOTHER motorcycle. In what world is that realistic? IRL, both parties would be severely injured and/ or dead. This wasn’t a one off maneuver, I think the officers were frustrated that they couldn’t catch me, they attempted to ram my motorcycle with their motorcycle at over 100 miles an hour multiple times before being able to successfully do it and crash me. When bringing up the subject OOC, I was just given insults. Let’s hold our police officers accountable, and I suggest that we stick to more realistic pursuit tactics. Most police departments in the world won’t chase motorcycles, and the ones that do, definitely don’t pit maneuver, the motorcycle motorcycles with their vehicles, and other motorcycles. Extremely unrealistic and takes a lot of the fun out of running.
Borrelli Posted March 3, 2025 Report Posted March 3, 2025 If you have evidence please make an IA complaint (if you think its a roleplay standard thing) or forum complaint (if you believe it's a server rule breach). I personally have not observed our members using these tactics. In your case it may be a connection thing if you're saying it was constantly happening. Potentially they thought you were in a different place from where you actually were or one of you was lagging? Regarding the insults, flag that up to server staff if you feel it is severe enough or if it's more minor submit an IA complaint. 1

I don't like bad cops either, but when these sorts of threads come up, nobody is able to tell me any names or give specifics. Tell the faction more about it so if there really is a problem, we can fix it. PLEASE.
Chazaa Posted March 3, 2025 Report Posted March 3, 2025 Good afternoon, I was the PD Shinobi on your tail for all 5 minutes of that pursuit and not once were you anywhere near close to getting away. We lose vehicles all the time because there are some good drivers that play on this server. Your driving skills however, weren't anything to write home about. I had a whole thing typed out to debunk your post but it's honestly not worth it. Instead I'll just leave the footage here of the incredibly reckless, unresponsible, outrageous, intentional PIT maneuver that I performed on you today. P.S. nobody gave you OOC insults, I told you ICly that you suck at driving so if you took that OOCly, that's a you problem. 1

I can post the 4 mins of the pursuit that I have before the crash but I've already looked through it and didn't attempt to hit you once. You talk about PD being unrealistic, how about stop trying to bait cops for pursuits by doing wheelies out front of a police station, driving in the incorrect lane, on the sidewalks and at speeds of over 200km/h. The cruiser never attempted to hit you, it pulls towards you to make you slow down and think about how you're operating your vehicle. I’m going to make a compilation of every time I’ve been yeeted off of my bike by reckless cops ramming into me during pursuits thanks buddy

I was the helicopter above following the pursuit and you did multiple U-turns after going 200+ km/h. You have to have inhuman reactions not to hit someone, especially a bike that has incredibly good brakes and can go from 200 to 0 in a second or less. Nobody was frustrated that we "couldn't" catch you, because there were 2 Shinobis and an AIR unit above you following you. And even if we lost you, so what? PD loses a dozen of chases a day, we are used to it. Accusing someone of intentionally ramming you off the bike, or saying they OOCly insulted you is childish. It is kinda pointless to make these posts because it leads to nowhere. Both sides arguing with 0 outcome. Like the users above said, this all should go either through IC means or OOC IA report if you think rules were broken.

Posted March 3, 2025 Report Posted March 3, 2025 As explained already, if you feel like a rulebreak appeared you are free to submit a forum report and get both sides of the story and properly investigate the rulebreak. If no rulebreaks appeared and you are concerned about the roleplay standards that are shown here you are also free to submit an OOC IA report to the police department so they can investigate this incident further. In both cases you will need to submit evidence to show these allegations taking place, as without evidence it's not going to be possible to do much. This thread is gonna be locked and archived.
