Digital Camera

tl;dr:

• Make a digital camera item that works the same way as /panim camera used to, except doesn't take polaroids and doesn't have the camera line UI overlayed

The Problem:

• No real way to record in-character footage and have it look normal.
• The news camera and /record both are still in third person, and even if you go in first person the object is in the way and you don't get the zoom control the camera gives you
• The way I got around this was /panim camera, which now seems to be removed for the polaroid (which people can question the validity of recording in-character using a polaroid)

The Suggestion:

An actual item, same as Polaroid

Same Interaction menu as Polaroid

Left click with camera out does nothing

Also remove the stupid lines that make recording video worse

That'd be nice. Having to go out and purchase a polaroid camera to take a high-quality mugshot makes me feel very 1970s. /panim camera was very convenient. 

Don't get me wrong, a polaroid camera that produces physical in-game items used to display pictures is very cool, but it does not cover all use cases. If /panim camera is not going to make a comeback, it'd at least be very nice to have a digital camera item that has an identical function to /panim camera, where it just saves the screenshot to your hard drive.

To be clear, you can take pictures without any film with the new camera item and they save in the spot as before so if you just want to take pictures without the polaroids just dont buy the cartridge and only the camera and it works just like the panim did

I mean, i'm still gonna just do it with polaroid camera, but you know some fucker is gonna be like "YoU cAnT rECOrD vIdeo wItH pOlArOid"

+1 having a actual camera is nice. bored of the same questions and stupid comments over and over when Weazel has to use snipers to do video work. just getting a functional camera in the server would be great

i wil probly never use these picture things, but i do think its really cute, and i think especialy chicks might like the polaroid thing.  The girls in the game deserve some cute items to you know
