Bag Rework

Hello, I’ve had this idea for a while now so hear me out. I’m not sure if there is already a suggestion for this so if there is. Please Archive and direct me to it so I can have my 2 cents.

I believe you should be able to view and access your bag while it is on your back, so you would equip it like any item of clothing. You hit “I” and you have an extra little UI for “bag storage” 
 

My reasons for this as follows:

So A. IRL if you had a duffle bag, you’d be able to quickly and promptly put it to your side and access it with very little effort. And B. This will help with the very common issue of “Ninja looting”, due to the very clunky nature of of dropping accessing and then picking back up the bag. You may find yourself in very sticky situations where you may miss the E prompt or accidentally hit “carry” instead of “pickup” and all of a sudden your bag with whatever was inside has been stolen. 
 

I would like to reiterate that my main point is the fact it’s unreasonable and also unrealistic to have to drop a duffle bag to access it. Let me know what you think. 
 

One more thing I would like to touch on, is adding different styles of bags, not just for the looks but potentially some extra functionality. 
 

If you have a duffle bag and it’s full, it should slow you down. Add another a bag like the /panims bag that Ash just mentioned. Adding some variety to an already pretty basic feature adds to the server in many ways.

Maybe the inventory has a button you can click that is “open bag” with a short action timer for you opening it and it is an extra mini inventory.

id also love the /panim backpack model to be a usable bag (even better if more colour choices)

There is another one that is very very similar to it. but a tiny bit different here

To be honest im really suprised this isnt already a thing. I dont know how hard it would be to implement bit some ui changes dosent sound difficult. Unless its not being implemented over balancing concerns regarding concealed firearms.

Considering the UI element already exists when opening the bag once it is on the floor, this shouldn't be difficult at all to achieve, and seems long overdue, irrespective of how it is implemented (UI always present if bag equipped, or "Open Bag" with action timer).
