nightware Posted December 10, 2022 Report Posted December 10, 2022 (edited) Right now filling your Inventory (your pockets) with a Bag make no sense, especially when you have the "Carry" option as well... (The only good use of "Pick Up" is because of the limitations of not being able to store it in a Safe, Crate). My suggestion is to implement Backpacks and a new slot designed and dedicated for Bags and Backpacks, equipping and carrying them on your back and not using the Inventory vol space (xx/50). However, for example, the Bags should be limited to have only 25 vol space (on top of the 50 Inventory volume) and the Backpacks probably should have 50 vol space. Additional to that, there could be penalties for carrying over 50 vol in your inventory and in your bags or backpacks. A few examples being: Walking and running more slowly (quite similar to when you are being injured), getting dehydrated quicker and using more energy (draining food aswell), the cons could be others aswell, more serious like feeling dizzy and even passing out after running overloaded for a longer period of time. Adding flexibility in a Roleplay server is very important because it brings new RP opportunities and improves the quality of Roleplay overall. Edited December 10, 2022 by Thomas Nechro 3 1 Quote
Purely Posted December 26, 2022 Report Posted December 26, 2022 +1 I'd love to use a backpack, as long as there is designs for them, and not all the same, like the current bag! Yuck! 1 1 Quote

I agree with everything else but this I feel this should be reversed, backpacks hold 25 and the bags hold 50, as realistically theres more space in a duffel bag than a backpack. 2 Quote

CJORG Posted March 13, 2025 Report Posted March 13, 2025 (edited) I love the idea of backpacks and bags having dedicated slots in-game. It makes inventory management much more realistic and adds an extra layer of strategy. In most games, having different capacities for bags vs. backpacks makes sense since duffel bags or large totes usually hold more than a regular backpack. Also, penalties for overloading would make roleplay even better, making players think twice before hoarding items. Speaking of bags, I recently looked into different styles, and Coach has some great options, from crossbody bags to totes. Found some solid reviews and shopping tips here: https://coach-bags.co.uk/. Chevy Vercetti Posted March 30, 2025 Report Posted March 30, 2025 +1 having a bag to carry should increase the amount of space we are technically allowed to carry, with that addition to it, being over encumbered "over weight" should have a slight dis-advantage of walking slower , a carry bag is pointless to have, only thing they are good for is just using it as a saved "load out" ammo , snacks, guns, clothes "saved outfit's" .. doesn't have any real desire to use them beyond this capacity, not really beneficial. 1 Quote
