  1. Yeah I don't mean remove the items, just not make them something you HAVE to have in your pocket. Map item still exists if you want to view the map whilst phone is off, again much like irl. Agreed, speaker and GPS removal from car should be a small action timer
  2. Have the GPS functionality tied to whether your phone is on or off. GPS in car inventory if you want to keep your phone off. Pros: free item slot, realism Thoughts?
  3. The sad truth about the server really. People only do stuff if there's assets in it for them usually. To be fair though, Horny's diner opened up without a raffle and a decent number showed up of both crim and legal, same for the Weazel alien DM event. So I do think the uniqueness of the event plays a huge factor.
  4. Scrapyard car Taxi/Citybee Bicycle Be a passenger princess Pay a new player to drive you around Just drive anyway If you're high enough ranking in a gang, get a prospect to drive you around Plenty of options for 6-12 hours (effectively 1 play session)
  5. Saw a similar suggestion a while ago where /setdescription <text> would set it for your character then /inspect <id> (within range) would show you what they wrote in there. Your suggestion is obviously more in depth than that but either way this would be a neat addition. Obviously rules around it should be the same as those for /do
  6. Date and time (provide timezone): 17:00 3/SEP/25 Character name: Irrelevant Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: Multiple times per play session Issue/bug you are reporting: When first coming into range of someone, hats and glasses are not visible to nearly everyone until you /resync. They're visible to yourself, but not to others. Pretty sure also happens when leaving vehicles. Expected behavior: If i am wearing a hat or glasses, other people to see them without me needing to /resync every time I talk to a new group of people. I mean, at the very least a periodic automatic /resync trigger when you leave a car or every X timeframe or action would patch it to some extent.
  7. Civilian changes affect everyone, would be good for civ focused stuff
  8. I could see morale benefit of having maybe a discord channel with a basic format template like #crash-reports where you can glaze some good roleplay e.g. It'll be a bit spammy but could serve as a bit of a benchmark especially when hiring people to factions to quickly search someones name to see if anyone has anything positive to say about them that's worth considering as well as just giving people motivation and an ego boost for playing something a bit out of the norm. I think the main benefit would be to newer people checking out the server and being able to see more of the good things at a glance, or even better giving people ideas on new things they can do. Would require minor amounts of moderation but nothing too complex, so +1
  9. Problem: I make news videos in-character, I use the camera object to be able to zoom and not be in third person. Main downside to this is the lines always on the screen when recording, I get that it's meant for polaroids but still, using it allows people to know i'm recording because i have the camera out and it also gives access to zooming whilst being first person to be more immersive. Suggestion: Make a video camera object in the store, maybe like $10k or something which uses the video camera prop (/panim news1 i think) but unlike the panim, can be used like the camera to go first person and doesn't have any lines on screen but can't take polaroid photos. This would benefit people like me who make videos in-character, and also the Weazel faction in general I'd imagine.
  10. This one's very much a "make them do realism but not us". You also don't see criminals evading in supercars irl like you do on here, but the meta is just how it is. When most crims can go 240 they have no alternative than to turn to these to even stand a chance. new fear rp rule update means this isn't relevant, if you genuinely dont think a cop would shoot, you can take that gamble and run anyway and see if they'll blast you. very generalised, many criminals also have a win mentality, it's just how it is with it mostly being cops vs robbers server. Overall i don't like the angle of "i want others to be realistic" when the other side is just as bad at doing it themselves. not a cop or crim btw.
  11. if someone does /do am i able, i just ignore it personally and continue with whatever /me is relevant to the actions i'll be doing "/do able?" is just incorrect usage and just a different variation of "/do s?"
  12. We love a good content creator! Hope you have fun in the server! going to like and subscribe!
  13. "remove doc or cap it" boring solution here's other more constructive ways to make doc more fun for inmates off the top of my dome: add script for cooking in the kitchen add a script way to smuggle small items (drugs, switchblade, lockpicks) - special inventory slot for it and when you're /frisked there's a X percent chance of it being found personal stash inventories beneath beds that guards wouldnt rply know about unless caught or snitched super rare spawn items that an inmate can spend say 5 minutes "crafting" into a weapon like shiv some fitness related skill you can xp in prison gym automated prison break system - sometimes picking trash can rarely give you a special item like nailfile or lockpicks that allow a single inmate to make a hole in the fence that teleports them to the other side still in inmate outfit and says something like "alarms have been sounded, you don't think it's worth the risk to try escape" for other inmates trying to get through and be constructive and don't be boring by saying get rid of it or cap it more
  14. Not even just supers, give us goofy vehicles we can RP with! (Golf caddy, construction vehicles, tour buses, tractors, lawnmowers, forklift, airtugs etc)
  15. I go back to something I commented many eons ago, change the /dice command Just /dice works as it does, or add a number after it /dice 10 rolls a 10 sided dice /dice 20 rolls a 20 sided dice Just make the command /dice x with say upper limit of 100 arbitrarily. All that needs changing is using the parameter as as the random val instead of 1-6 it’s 1-x and have the /me say “rolled an x sided dice”. having this support “dice” of 2-100 I imagine would be a easy modification, and give people countries more options (like WoW death roll gambling ) bonus point: force /anim wank (which is actually a dice roll)
  16. Has this been raised OOC with government command? I feel like this is an inter-factional ooc issue more than anything, or the kind of thing you’d raise to LFM if it’s producing boring rp and adding frustrations to the MD faction.
  17. The way I see it: People sat in their private labs to grind grind grind to sell the drugs to an npc for cash. Now let’s compare that to doing the same for burgers, you grind and grind to make burgers, to what? Not sell to an npc but to sell to other players, creating more interaction, use as part of a business. Let’s say for example if private labs came back but they only produced a version of the drug that could be sold to other people to use, and never to be sold to NPCs, that’d be more justifiable reason to sit inside doing fuck all rp because the end result is some actual interaction and roleplay. now, will there be one or two people with extremely well placed vending machines that will be able to use this new system to make bank, sure. But let’s not compare apples to oranges, private labs were a plague on the community in their height where everyone was shut in.
  18. tackling was a mistake haha
  19. The person doing the tackling always recovers first Sounds awful, people are already idiots with tackling I dont think random tackling needs to be even more encouraged.
  20. Not to reduce the suggestion, but let's be very clear. The reason the pier was popular was because it was a spot to grind money for basically 0 effort and chat to people doing it after private labs died. People moved onto road crew, burger shot and public labs for that once it became more profitable than fishing. I legitimately think the pier would boom again if fish sold for more. The suggestions are cool though
  21. Giving tackling a random chance for them to get knocked out would be interesting and add a few more consequences to people randomly tackling too imo. I'd like this as a system.
  22. used to be able to use <br> or <br /> to line break an fdo, unsure if you still can. you can replicate the behaviour of point 2 using ~ instead of space, since it trims that trying to match color codes
