I completely agree with you. I've had many situation where cops just start to unload rounds into me the moment I step away from a hostage. Cops will just argue that the hostage is safe when you step away from them so they can open fire. This is partially true however I feel like a rule or rules should be implemented to help revive hostage rp because at the moment there isn't a point of trying to even use a hostage simply because the cops don't fear for the hostages life enough to actually care about the situation. All that will happen is once you step away from the hostage you will get shot at then a medic from heaven comes down and manages to bls the 50 rounds into your skull from multiple directions after the bls you get took to MD and slapped with a 3hr+ sentence. Again cops will argue that it is realistic to shoot as the hostage is somewhat out of harms way. There are many rp servers that make hostage rp fun and fair, Eclipse sadly isn't one of them.

How it would work: Low end cars would be parked up next to populated areas, once you hop in the car you have an option to /rent, once the player gets out of the car he will have an option to "Keep renting" or "stop renting". "Keep renting" will keep the car exactly how it is until a timer is up, once the timer is up it will go back to the original place the car was taken from. "Stop renting" Will take the car back to its original location. The renting system could be a 1 time payment or it could work like a taxi fee, paying per Kilometre. Some of the locations where the cars could be placed are city bank, Central MD, Pillbox MD, Paleto MD, Paleto Bank, Sandy MD, Chumash and the pier. Requirements: Not allowed to be currently wanted to rent a vehicle. If the player has any fines above 1000$ they cannot rent a vehicle. Player must have a valid drivers license. Once a player rents the vehicle it is rented in their name so if they do illegal things cops can link the car back to the player. Advantages Saves players having to run to their desired location if there are no taxis online and/or no city bees. Could possibly bring a scripted job. Instead of the vehicles being teleported back to their position a player could go and retrieve the vehicle from where it was left. Possible problems Players using the vehicles for a malicious intent such as VDM. If the scripted job feature was added players might not work at the job leaving cars scattered over the city. (This could be fixed by adding a timer to the recall system where if a car is not collected for a certain amount of time it will get teleported back to its original location. Cars which get teleported back could interfere with other players cars which they decided to park in the exact spot of where it gets teleported. (This could be fixed by making the cars not interact with other vehicles) No idea if this is a good suggestion or not but thought I'd post it anyway

+1 There are some things which need changing. When PD gets notified for a drop there is no way of stopping them unless you have a lot of numbers causing you to lose whatever you ordered which can sometimes be 300k+. Some people will say criminals are not meant to win against PD which is correct and Criminals have a win mentality but on the other hand this is the type of people who say that. https://streamable.com/7h6hor. I just feel like criminals should have at least a chance with the police because at the moment when our drop gets comped 20+ officers show up all with full body armour, carbines, insurgents giving criminals 0% chance of getting the drop. Just feels more like an OOC punishment than an IC one.

I've had this happen before with my stash vehicle. I took it out at Paleto parking lot and it ended up in the city somewhere.

It will just cause more issues for @IAmTurtle's driving while chasing people.... Seriously though one thing different with this server is that there isn't any npcs. It brings many benefits such as less fps lag, less desync and overall makes it more immersive with no npcs. Good idea though. +/- brings many advantages and disadvantages to the table so its hard to decide.

In my opinion the server either needs to come up with a new system at drug labs or revert back to the old one. I'm not saying anything needs to be removed but something definitely needs to be changed. I used to get a lot more rp at drug labs than I do now since they were a viable option for a criminal...as they should be. Last week I spent 10-12 hours at a drug lab (Chilliad) over the space of 2 days. The most rp that I had there was from a new player stealing a mechanics bike and attempting to chop it. +1

The Meeting Charlie had been hanging around with the rooks for a while now and had made many long-term friends and enemies. After a long, exhausting and thrilling cook with the gang at one of the many drug labs he received a text from [REDACTED] "Charlie come to the mask store we have something important to do" he scurried to the mask store and was told to follow the matte black Jester. Charlie followed the Jester which led him to a group of familiar faces from the rooks organised in a circle. Charlie was a little anxious, but he knew he could trust [REDACTED]. A towering shadow appeared from behind the old creaky wooden beam, it began to give its opinion on Charlie and if he should be accepted into the Rooks. Everyone else one by one stepped up and started sharing their thoughts till they concluded that Charlie should be a part of the family. He was in. To be continued…

In my opinion prison times are too long and in prison there is nothing to do, either time needs to be reduce or there needs to be something to do in prison rp wise to benefit you. Another suggestion could be the higher payout for time 10 seconds isn't a lot for how long it takes to gather the amount of ore. This is probably going to get disregarded though as everything to change prison rp does.

This idea is really good in theory however there are way too many people going to jail every day and would cause a stockpile at wherever the DOJ takes place. Also it would most likely be very bias due to people who have alt accounts and OOC relationships/friendships. You could counter my argument saying there could be lots of employees which is correct but at some point there is going to be no one at the doj to take any cases. If you have any idea on how to fix this then comment on it. It's a good idea though and I hope that the problems that I stated can be fixed somehow to make this work.

Where it all began Charlie had just recently flown into town because he was visiting some friends of his who lived in Los Santos, he was only meant to stay for a week but he had fallen in love with Los Santos and he couldn't leave, as soon as he knew this was his decision he set out and looked for work. Eventually Charlie farmed enough to buy his first car, a Spectre Custom A couple days after he had gotten his spectre custom Charlie bumped into somebody named Lele Mchoe, she taught him the basics of making and taking of drugs...and she taught him the ways of criminal life At the time Lele was associated with the gang Russian Mafia although Charlie didn't like them that much he stuck around them to gain knowledge of all the other gangs within Los Santos which is where he found out about the Triads, Los Zetas and the Rooks. Charlie had obtained many numbers of many people related to the criminal side of Los Santos one of them happened to be Dante Kalashnikov. Charlie had asked if he could roll with them for a while to get to know everyone Charlie felt at home with everyone in the family and knew that he had to join the rooks.... To be continued

+1 I'm sick of going to prison for 6 hours only to just sit there, watch a movie and have no rp interaction at all. At the moment prison is just an afk and dm fest. I would like to input a suggestion of making stamps payout for time more rich since mining in the prison has no real benefit
