Portable drug labs please

Robberies are way too common unfortunately and whilst this can be an IC problem it seriously impacts the server and player morality on an OOC level. I created an alternate character which I had plans on going with them in a Civilian route. Within 30 minutes of thay characters existance. I was robbed while farming. As a police officer I see an extremely large number of 911 calls ranging from the farms and even any other civilian work area. Being a civilian is near impossible unless you have 6 eyes and a gun in your hand constantly. It feels like the city is the one from Cyberpunk and that it just turns into Cops n Robbers but with extra rules. I understand why gangs rob civilians but I will never understand why food and batteries get taken from people as if its DayZ and youre fighting for survival. There is no work progression where you get raises on civilian jobs which just makes every job an insane grind. People will complain in /b about the smallest things and take IC situations to an OOC level if it doesnt suit them. There was a discussion Ive seen where this server has almost zero roleplay when it comes to anything *real*. No emotions get in play, no character development (at least from what Ive seen, but I MAY be wrong). Props to the people who dedicate their time to roleplay quality and arent worried about money that much.

Youre saying it like this already isnt being done. We have IC regulations for heavy weapon usage and not everyone has access to them. -+1 I like the suggestion and dont like it at the same time. It would put a bigger incentive on criminals to ambush us and hunt some of us down for our guns

maybe an IC regulation to allow heavier weapons for security detail that are obtained through heavy regulation and ways?

It really was a confusing situation at first, I personally wouldnt enter any area to try and clear it when there is a risk of unavoidable danger on the outside. It was a massive gunfight that really shouldnt have happened.

Regarding OOC footage. The only time you can use OOC footage (like a recording from OBS, or Shadowplay, in the form of a highlight of a clip) is when you have specifically roleplayed turning on a camera, whether it be a phone, a dash cam or a body cam. With a timestamp with /time, and saved it as a screenshot for proof.

Death RP isnt granted by the injuries sustained. Its granted by what lead to those injuries and what you have done to cause that situation. That, including how much roleplay youve added.

From a police officer's perspective this as well is annoying. Sometimes we will be stuck with situations where no officers are available to come to the impound. Sometimes when we arrive the person who called wouldnt be there. However, I do not like the idea of an automated system. -1

The fact some people in this thread are saying its mixing IC and OOC is incredibly unbelievable. Your voice represents your character. If I receive a phone call from a person that sounds like a man but is representing themselves like a woman, I will most definitely have my doubts about it.

You're a male that has decided to take control of a female character (including the usage of voice chat), knowing full well that she will sound like a man, and you're surprised that people are automatically assuming she is transgender? Sorry, this seems like something you should have planned as soon as you created that character. You have the following options imo A) Stop using the character completely B) Use a voice changer C) Only use text based IC communication (unless a situation REALLY requires VOIP) You have to deal with the fact that your character sounds manly, this isn't something you can simply avoid if you use VOIP. As to whites roleplaying blacks, russians roleplaying americans, etc, same goes for them. If you cant deal with it, try to find a compromise.

We should get a ruling where if you're wearing a very thick jacket or something like that, that RP'ly hiding it would be deemed appropriate (except for the .50) . But if you're wearing very tight clothing that it can be easily seen regardless of what you RP'd.

Vanilla clothing looks extremely dull and boring. I would really like to see this implemented, but I also wouldnt like to force others to have modifications that I and some others want. +1 anyways lol

First part is very untrue to my knowledge. Optional paperwork is greatly appreciated if it doesnt affect your in-game progress to a greater extent.

Limit monetary robberies you're able to take from other people Forbid people from doing roleplay that wouldnt make sense in the city center, allowing heavy criminal roleplay only in alleyways or the hoods (because tbh getting held up at Vinewood Hills in the middle of the street is pretty damn unrealistic) Interactions where if you attempt to rob someone and find nothing, you arent allowed to take their GPS orcut their hair (GPS part understandable) Remove the GPS system and only have it available on your phone (who the hell carries a big-ass GPS in 2019?) Bigger ammounts of cash at store robberies (but longer) Encourage gangs to resort to less gun fights but more fist fights and melee fights by lowering the ammount of weapons they are able to obtain (or create some sort of black market system where one gang controls it) Add a drug effect with an addiction system, enabling gangs to have a bigger competition in the drug market. Territories (tbh this can be done IC and a script doesnt need to be put in place) Substantially increase the impound fee, or create a vehicle insurance system where if a vehicle is impounded or stolen, your fee would be lower if you are insured, but if you are uninsured, it'd be greatly higher. Encourage civilian RP (idk how, give some ideas)
