Props, production, and a bit about supply chains.

+1 helps to add more jobs for truckers too if they were to implement this correcty -
I believe that we should make the public parking a NCZ. In addition, I think increasing the radius of the area that you can /park would be beneficial. You have to be literally ontop if the Red Blip which is quite challenging with the number of players using parking and with some of the larger vehicles. Have you ever tried to put a pounder in parking? Large vehicles(Phantom, pounder, and mule) can also only go in the exit where the gate does not open from the outside. Here are some reasons why I believe that parking should be an NCZ: 1) People who do not own property yet, log on and off there. - If you are on a time crunch and have to log off and someone is attempting to put you in a situation where the other party demands roll play, if can lead to negative interactions(both IC and OOC). Same goes for when you log on. 2) NonRP happens there on the regular. - The spawning of vehicles is fairly nonrp and sometimes they are unlocked when they first load in. Having someone hold you up as your spawn your vehicle seems pretty nonrp to me. 3) This builds off of 1 and 2. People come speeding through and often run people over in an attempt to “Park” their car. Which leads to bad RP. This could be because they are logging off and don’t care or because in that moment of changing vehicles, they are trying to rush from this moment of nonrp and get back to “their RP”.

I asked a shop owner and he told me they are not able to order them any more.

I just wanted to give my opinions about a statement from the recent announcement on the discord. We have listened to ideas presented in the past and implemented more things to encourage civilian roleplay and offer an alternative to simply going around and chain-robbing, which include recent updates such as, mining, trucker job enhancements, hunting and player-owned general stores. I do not believe the recent changes have been successful in discouraging chain robbing because the reality is they have taken away from existing jobs(trucker is worse), created more opportunities for robbery(mining), or are not even accessible(hunting). 1) Mining - Encourages chain robbing because you are able to sit at the foundry and get 15-20k off of civilians with little effort. If you are robbing, you don't need the truck with 500 inventory space or to have taken the 30 minutes to mine it. - Suggestion: Make mining money go to salary. Mining should also be decreased by 30-40% so that it is not blatantly overpowered. I would also like to hear an official post about whether holding the crate, even if you have RPed placing it in the seat as you drive, is power gaming. I have read reports on people getting hit with power gaming but most people in the server think it is okay if you RP it. As new people come into the server, vets are informing them that it is okay to do this. Seems as if the mining numbers have been coming down. I am not sure if this is because of the automated price adjustments or developer intervention so I retract my price reduction suggestions. 2) Trucker Job - There is not enough work for more than 1 trucker to have work for any substantial amount of time. Work only comes when store owners place orders and that doesn't happen very often. I have spent many hours waiting on orders to be available and they never come. - Suggestion: Can we make those orders only available for people who own trucks and find away to bring back some of the old system as an option for either truck renters or truck owners? 3) Hunting - I have been told that you need a knife to skin the animals, yet knives are not able to be ordered by store owners so how are we supposed to buy them? Maybe I am missing something IC but from what my character has learned in game, I am not even capable of hunting. - Suggestion: Let store owners be able to place orders for knives again. Seems as if knives are now able to be bought in stores again. I have no comments about owning a general store because as a player who has only been around for a few weeks, I don't have the liquidity to buy a place like that yet. Let me know what everyone else things about that. I am very open to the fact that I maybe completely ignorant about some things. These are the opinions of someone who is not a criminal and works at LSC.

I am currently an employee at LSC and a trucker on the side and I think it would add stability to the trucker job if shipments had to be delivered for ever $XXX,XXX spent in parts cost. I am sure the same could be said for the hospital or police department.

+1 The problem is that the system is so messed up right now. If no orders come in for an hour, and the first one to come in is $1000, people will still fight over it because they need the money. I think a union is great so it gets my +1, however I think there are bigger issues with the trucker job than a union right now.

+1 As a newer player, I am currently "Sleeping in my phantom". My character wants to be a business owner and he has no motivation to sink 350k+ into a 1g apartment when he can save up for a cheaper office space around $1,000,000.

-1 I do however believe there should be transparency at the beginning of the application process about what the current wait time is. I am not a developer by any means and am highly ignorant here but I do not believe it would be hard to place something at the beginning of the application that can reference the date of the oldest application in the system so that people know how far back it is. This doesn't help the problem with the time it takes, but it does set the expectation for a long wait at the beginning of the application and not after it. This would also weed out any people who aren't really committed. Anyone will take 15 minutes to fake an application if they think they can get in to play in the next three days. People aren't going to fake an application for something that is two months out.

+1 As there is currently no feature in the trucker job to fix a flipped trailer and no way to cancel the order, this would be extremely helpful.
-
I am still fairly new around here and I know the trucker job has just recently changed. Before the pay was awful but you could actually work. Now, there isn’t enough work for even one trucker to do. You can go hours without seeing an order come in and then there are four truckers fighting over who can click the order first. I am not sure what could change but there is currently not enough work to call the trucker job a job. One more note. If your trailer becomes flipped, there is no way to cancel the order or have the trailer flipped without completely quitting the job. I think there was a reset trailer option in the previous system?
