That being said in a IRL setting; you can't per US law be pulled over without being marked as an official member of a criminal syndicate. The rules apply for them open firing is if they evade that is grounds to open fire as you did not comply. PD should be fairly regulated as IRL they would be watched by the Executive Branch, Judicial and Senate. On this server, they decide the evidence, select the charges and sentence you. = Judge, Jury and Executioner
  2. Criminal Roleplay as of late has been targeted for a variety of reason(s) Including Chain Robbery. A reason(s) why criminals performed these actions is due to the limitations imposed on criminals such as the following: 1.1 Restriction on Retaltions: Let's say in a hypothetical situation someone snitches on a gang while being in the said gang. An ordinance to the rules, nothing can be done to that person. Which if the server is attempting to capture realism as it preaches we should be enabled to do the following in any length of time kidnap them, place a contract on their life, torture them or execute them. This is a reality, imposes some standard of fear when messing within the criminal underworld. This includes allowing us to eliminate whole groups if their identities are discovered. Part of the chain robbery issue came when all that could be done was rob players that have wrong the criminal underworld. 1.2 Expand Criminal Activites A current issue is criminals have very limited jobs to perform when an act of committing a crime. Such as the following; Labs being destroyed due to players not fearing for their life once hit at a lab and left alone after complying, chain robbing general stores due to that being the only things to rob, chopping cars which the owner 9/10 calls 911 with the chop location and it gets raided. We should expand our reach when it comes to criminal actions such as; Robbing jewelry/banks stores (Measure Risk x Reward EX 20 cops online multiply the reward), Making self-made drug labs that can be hidden from the PD's eyes, Poaching Illegal Fish, Illegal "Gambling" areas, additional ways for gangs to manage their finances like a dummy bank account, and gloves to hide fingerprint evidence. 1.3 Reasonable Fear The implementing Fear RP was an amazing concept; but I feel it's lacking in many areas (As no one in their right mind would typically tell a powerful cartel leader they are idiots and expect to survive) If we are to capture realism the association with gang activity should be something more feard as they control both a decent supply line of cash and munitions. This includes civilians should fear calling 911 as it could very well mean the end of their life. 1.4 Execution(s) If a police officer/civilian has seen the face of a criminal or proceeds to call them by their name; any "reasonable criminal" in an IRL setting would kill whoever was even a witness to the crime. This has been seen in charges against the mafia/cartels and criminal syndicates around the world. Why should this town be any different? 1.5 OOC Corruption Rule(s) Any LEO in the IRL setting is subject to be brided or can go dirty. This should be no exception on this server if we are to balance criminal RP and civ Rp. The fact that such rules in place are both NON-RP and Metagaming to an extreme. Medics and LEO's should be allowed to dive into the criminal world if that is what their character development supports. Notifying their command just enables metagaming to be done. We should allow the player to decided whether or not to take a bribe or charge a criminal with a crime. If you have any suggestions please post it!

Cops *See's guy in Blue Clothes* *Check* Cops Calls Code 1 Tac 1 *Check* Cops Switches to Teamspeak channel in which only they are enabled to do so *Check* Cops Pull Heavy Sniper with .50 Cal Round banned on soft targets as it's considered a War Crime *Check* Cops Press Panic Alarm while down *Check* Cops Opens Fire on Vehicle for not stopping killing anyone with same color *Check* If you want RP consequences for criminals, there is a cost for PD as well in the IRL sense.

What it means in lighter terms; I shoot at one cop while 7 are in the background I catch all those additonal charges.

  7. The average "legal" player typically has the following: .50 which runs $4200-$4700, Food/Water - $550, Depending on the car $3000-$4092. Let's factor that into a common "starter-job" which will say postal. This typically makes $6000-$8500 an hour depending on your efficiency. The Combination of these goods would lead to about $7700-$9384. So between 1 full hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes. The math you proposed does not add up. Now if you factored the player having a "heavy" then that revolks their "legal status" in the equation. Potential Criminal Earnings Gun Resale for a .50 $4500-$5500 Chop Vaule: $3000-$4150 Food/Drink Vaule: NOT USUALLY RESELLABLE Total Earnings for Criminals: $7500-$9650 Potential Loss IF Caught: Possession of Illegal Firearms/Weapons (60 mines) $5000 Fine Illegal Sale of an Unlicensed Firearm / Ammunation (90 minutes) $7000 fine Armed Robbery (60 Minutes) $4000 fine Grand Theft Auto (60 Minutes) $7500 fine COST: 4 HOURS 30 MINUTES, $23,500 FINES Meaning if caught they not only lost the time it took to perform the robbery but lost time in jail and in fines. This breaks down into the current prison time max. to about 4 hours and 23 minutes of lost time over the commission of the robbery. Equations used : Addition Now seeing something from a distance and being a member in its development are two separate sides of a coin. Let's look at it in different lights, with the proposed idea of "offline jail", what point would there be to have DOC if you could just log and call it a day. I'd say removing the AFK timer and setting it to 3 hours is reasonable as that to some standard forces interaction to keep entertainment. As you may not value "criminal rp" it does not make its actions voidable. Given criminal RP is very heavily restricted towards the actions they can perform; whereas a member of the DOC your opportunities to RP are endless.

    Paintball Arena

Adding an area for players to be sent to a "pre-designed" area for players to utilize any weapon offered in-game, where you can be in either singles or a team setting. Teleporting them to another VW away from the general masses. This would be a good way for players to work out any beef they may or may not have in a controlled setting.
  9. -1 The expectation of serving nearly a full working day in an environment of min. roleplay, low interaction levels and in general an afk simulation. Crime is an issue for civilian roleplay, limiting it but on your calculations of each criminal having 2 hours free every day, your proposition motions that a criminal spends nearly 3 days in prison. An how often LEO's stack charges is appalling. Example: You see a body and carve it after a shoot out, here are your potential charges from that carving: Possession of Human Body Tissue (60mins)+ Abuse or Desecration of Dead Human Body (70mins) + Tampering with Evidence (45mins) = 3 hours for one simple action (Not factoring any items you have on you other then meat). I think 3-4 hours is more reasonable with only certain charges being from the "S.F" category that have the possibility to extend your sentence for example past 2.5 hours. You must be reasonable when it comes to players time. If you wish to have a judicial; if the PD motion to have a trial then the player could then face the full 5-hour sentence with the judges decided sentence.
  10. +1 Yes, there is potential for roleplay for officers to un-impound the vehicle (though not much). I think the most fundamental aspect of why it should be automated is being missed. This is a video game and waiting 1-5 hours to get a car is appalling. Keep in reminder, the point of "roleplay" is to leave the harshness of reality for a world were every dream and fantasy is within your grasp. If anything make it like Mors where the NPC can release it after 3 hours or find a cop and he can immediately release it.

    The Kings

Recruiting the Smith Family Preface: Jinn Smith, after some time developing his code for "The Kings", decided to recruit his sister, someone he can trust to expand the ever so developing empire within the boundaries of the city. Having his sisters perspective on what constitutes respect, and how to develop our code towards not only respecting men but women as well. Acquiring the Colors: After expressing her interest in the group, Jinn Smith took Harmony to acquire the colors of "The Kings" which are yellow and black. They drove down to the Marnia's Binco beside Weazle News. After selecting the outfits of her choice. He announced to her that these are the colors of the gang, but it's not what distinguishes us from all those who wish to claim to be "Kings". She must get her "ice" acquired at our official front store bearing the logo of our group which is a gold/diamond encrusted skull neckless. Repping the Neckless: She has found and selected the neckless that makes a king, paid for by the Boss of the Kings Jinn Smith. Marking her an Official member of the kings!

    The Kings

The "Kings" was made by a man named Jinn Smith, who wish above all things to create something he could call his "own". He wanted an organization that was a high-bred between a "family" and "gang" that's based on respect as it's determining ranking factors. The Kings seek those who wish to make straight cash and keep out of the politics of war or sides, unless absolutely necessary. The Kings have a goal to be both an organization that could be feared and respected. Our current situation is to begin earning funds by stealing cars, trafficking arms, manufacturing/distributing controlled narcotics, money laundering and operating deep within the mines. Negotiating with major powers within the city, attempting to be on neutral terms with all those who hold a seat on the council and beyond. The Kings are also beginning to build their contacts and earn the respect of the citizens of Los Santos. Purchasing a Night club in the heart of Los Santos Building connections and distributing high-grade firearms Building allies with the strongest groups within the city of Los Santos Boss - Assumes the executive authority, outreaching to other gangs, managing every aspect of the group's operations. Underboss - Checking over executive decisions, ensuring that the rules of the group are enforced. Outreaching to other groups, seeking profitability. Double OG - Also referred to as "shot caller", these are among the few who have lead and developed their status as a leader and aid in managing the business operations of the group as a whole. OG - Not only have they proven they can put in work but have shown leadership qualities that could prove valuable to the group. Gangster - After having about four months of experience ((1 month)) within the group, they'll be granted this title. Young G - Someone who has been jumped in, a low rank trying to earn respect within the group and build their connections. Baby Gangster - Is someone who is trying to earn a name within the group, someone who has yet to be jumped in. Respect, Power, Cash "The three points of the crown being RESPECT, which is what we earn through friends. POWER is given to us by the connections we make and CASH is the substance gained through POWER" Respect - All Kings are aspected to respect women and men alike, being sure to not use derogatory terms towards others unless warranted by the other party ((AKA Friends, Those being disrespectful)) Helping Hand - The town is hard to understand, leaving many in the grey area of knowledge, it's the job of a King to lend a hand those who are in great need. Rip Off - A King should never rip each other off, or third parties aiding in the creation of our cash flow. Honesty - A King is expected to honest at all times to both our members and neutral/allied gangs within our organization. Robbing - Unless provoked either through war or knowledge of past misdeeds to another, robbing another in any form of run Legal/Illegal is prohibited. Honor - A King is expected to have honor in every situation that they participate in. Meaning they must accept the consequences of the actions leading to their current situation. ((Paying debts, Paying Dice rolls, Not robbing medics/DCC/LSC/Bay View/Farmers/Miners/Legal GOV Jobs, etc)) Gentlemen- A King is expected to act like a Gentlemen in all formal events, displaying the highest quality of oneself possible. Sportsmanship- A King is expected to have good Sportsmanship when being robbed or downed from an "accident". You must respect the other party and refrain from using insult terms. Noone may be recruited OOCLY regardless of relations within the leadership Must follow the rules of the server, approved reports will be met with harsh punishment. Must know and understand how to use the IG-commands Always roleplay to your character development
  13. +1 Fishing is one the best and most entertaining jobs to perform on the legal side. Should have some variety in catches/types of spots to seek after
  14. -1 I think the current system in place regulates the housing market well enough at the moment
