  1. It was time to reward members of the Triads who had been putting all their effort into the organisation. To prepare for this Bruce went to the stores and gathered up the supplies from the promotions. Now that the incense for the promotion was bought from the regular store. Bruce headed down to the clothing store of choice to buy the new masks and jackets. Whilst Bruce was out gathering the supplies from the ceremony it was time to gather everyone. Ding arranged for the members to meet up at a secluded location in Little Seoul. Nick and Zach are some of the oldest Triad members and have been very dedicated to the cause. Hard work is always rewarded in the Triads. The ceremony started with Nick. Nick was receiving a special honour and was promoted to the rank of Incense Master. The contents inside the bag that Bruce handed to him gave this away before it was announced. Now that Nicks promotion was complete he took the chance to make use of his new gift and lit a stick incense ahead up Zachs promotion. Zach had been one of the 49ers for a long time and was another stand out member across the group. Due to this he skipped a rank and was promoted straight to Red Pole. Nick moving on from Red Pole to Incense Master left a gap open in the structure and there was no better choice to fill this gap other than Nicks brother Zach Chang.
  2. The latest update introduced the hunger and thirst bars. When these bars deplete (Which happens extremely fast) you begin to lose HP. In my opinion it's pretty unrealistic to die of hunger or thirst after 4 IC Hours when IRL you could last as long as up to a full week. Solution: Hunger should only reduce your health to a limited amount e.g 50% and could impact your aim/run speed etc.
  3. With the new update that requires a large consumption of water and food it would be ideal to add free locations to get water whilst moving around the city. This could be done by: Adding water fountains at specific areas of the city that would allow for free consumption of water. The best areas to implement these would be away from the bank and in other areas as this would help in spreading out the population density.
  4. +1 Perhaps water fountains can be added into certain areas on the map?
  5. Off the screen for me but not unaligned. Resolution also 2560x1440
  6. The Triads and The Clowns decided it was time to have another catch up meeting to see how things have been going. Unfortunately the meeting was interrupted by a lone police cruiser showing up to the meeting. Both of the groups jumped in their vehicles and headed to a second meeting spot, hopefully out the way of the cops. It turned out one of the Clowns was being traced by detectives and they showed up to the second meeting. Most people managed to escape but some were blocked in by the cruiser. The SWAT team was moving in to the building, sweeping each area. The Triads set up to hold their grounds. One of the SWAT officers came round the wrong corner aiming his gun and then opening fire at the Triads. This didn't end well for him. Unluckily for the men there was backup waiting round the corner. They stood as one and went down as one like true Triads.
  7. I'll start off this by bidding 500k. You know my number.
  8. Could this please be archived. We took it to pm's and talked it over, cheers.
  9. Hello there, I'm ID8 in this report. Let me just start off, this whole interaction started by me radioing and texting in that you were about to hold me up whilst outside Braddocks. I then circled the area baiting you and waiting for backup to arrive and when they did you fled. You were ramming multiple cars in your Seven-70 which as a 500k sports car that's NRP alone and ramming multiple times is classed as deathmatching. So there is the reason for them blocking you in. Never mind the such slow speed then parked in front of you, this gave you plenty time to react but instead you chose to drive straight into them in your "Sports car". I'd also like to make it clear that you cannot flee to a NCZ after being involved in criminal activity resulting in a direct chase. The chase of which was still on going, you decided to leave the vehicle and instead of following FRP of all the guns aimed at you with demands you decided to flee to attempt to run into the NCZ on foot, resulting in your death. The Bifta sliding under you must have been desync as there is no way that car easily slides under another at around 20kmh. If you could show what actually resulted in your death it would be appreciated instead of a 6 second clip. I'd like to avoid causing any arguments but I'm happy to help provide footage if required. (Think I got it shadowplayed.) Cheers as always.
  10. Hello again, last thing I'd like to add to this. This report isn't to get you guys in trouble as I've said. If you could please take the time to watch the footage, from our POV it all looks very sketchy. No OOC threats were made we were just using it to confirm that he wasn't breaking any rules. We still continued with the RP either way. I can see from what you've said that it may not be metagaming. However there is still the chance that he had powergamed not having keys and this report is the only way to find that out. As we had a /report 4 up in-game already @MarcoD told us that there was no way he could check for house owners keys and it would require a higher admin, recommending us to put his report up. As for the "Poor quality RP from an Official Faction" I've previously stated that we always try to avoid using /b when possible unless required to confirm. I agree that moving to /b instantly kills any potential RP but sometimes it is needed. I appreciate everyone being civil about this and if you'd like we can take this to PM's to try and talk it over instead of publicly debating. Cheers.
  11. Hello there, I'm ID43 in this report, I'd like to share that the person "who we made jump" never even jumped. He broke demands at least 10 times and totally ignored FRP throughout the whole scenario. In this clip here you can see how he ended up dying, I was up behind still holding him at gunpoint and another member dropped a gun for Ding to pick up. The man then breaks fearRP as the gun was only lowered due to pressing I and picks up said gun, getting shot. Not to mention the fact if you check logs he was oowergaming through the whole thing. We tried to carry the man and he typed "/do you would be unsuccessful and break your back as I am too fat" there were also many other occasions of this. We tried to avoid taking it ooc and carried on with the RP.
  12. Hello, appreciate the fast response. The only person to ever shout at your door was your friend. None of the car alarms had went off before your friend asked to get back in the house as I unlocked the elegy first time and cancelled on the comet. The first alarm went off at 23:37 IC Time, Logs will need to be checked if the first call was before this time as the second call came after. Overall your defense doesn't line up with the evidence: You claim the first call came when the comet was picked and the second call came after the door shouting. The video clearly shows the doorshout occurred before any alarms of the car went off and you wouldn't know that we had picked the car until after this unless it was MG'd. I'll leave this to the admins to look over and will only be replying if asked to. I'd rather not start an OOC war over this.
  13. Player(s) being reported: ID28 Sam_Taylor, ID132 and Michael_Reese Date of interaction reported: 13/05/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1557764261 Your characters name: Bruce Wong Other player(s) involved: Brian Walky (@MikeyyyG) Aira Salvatrice (@Yputi) Specific rule(s) broken: 10. Metagaming (MG) Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information. Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head. 11. Powergaming (PG) Forceful roleplay that does not give the other player a chance to roleplay their own response is considered powergaming. Other players must be given a chance to roleplay outcomes of actions. Roleplay of unrealistic actions like super strength is another form of powergaming. All statements in /DO must be factually true in the roleplay as it sets grounds for roleplay. Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more. A player cannot use the faction management script to destroy a faction as it is OOC. Government funded faction members must not abuse the salary system and must go off-duty when they are not performing their faction duties. How did the player break the rule(s)? We had a call of two orange cars sitting outside a house, we drove up to the scene and started to pin the cars. Starting at 2:30 one of the occupants of the house leaves not knowing we were outside as no alarms had went off. We instantly held up him and removed any way for him to call for backup. At 3:35 I frisk the man for house keys and he states in /do "No" I believe he did have a set of keys on him and potentially PG'd it. Meanwhile the guy in the house "Was taking a nap" according to the player which seemed suspicious enough that he would leave both cars outside his house and just conventionally log out. After checking back on the situation this wasn't the case as the player in the house was inside making calls to PD even though he would have 0 knowledge of what was happening outside meaning it must have been metagamed. After asking around OOC for some help I managed to get a log of a call coming from "Michael_Reese" Who was the guy inside the house. The man we had at gun point told us that was the owners name. In the call he states "There are men outside trying to rob my house" even having not seen us and that "He had made two calls". This will be shown in the logs. A screenshot of the second call on the MDC is provided below. After deciding to leave the area me and @MikeyyyG stay around to watch the area. Conveniently straight after we leave an orange contender from the same gang pulls up then driving across the road to hide. During this the man zipped runs around to check the area to see if we are gone and after he doesn't see us the contender comes back over with no radio calls. The first sighting of the contender is in video 2 at 5:50, The driver of the contender is ID132. This must have been MG as the man in zipties has no way of contacting any backup and never went inside the house for help. @MarcoD Handled this report in-game. Evidence of rule breach:
  14. +1 to introducing the option but not restricting it to any specific cars. It should be a command that can be toggled. But this isn't currently an option available in GTA so I can see this being hard to implement.
  15. -1 People get scammed IRL all the time it's just not as known. If you were to hand a pinkslip to someone IRL and sign it off your car is gone. It's your own responsibility to not get scammed, you shouldn't have to rely on server rules to stop you from making IC mistakes. As for people bleeting out intentionally trying to scam, there is this in the rulebook:
  16. Ding had a recent run in with the Police Department. It ended up in them attempting to detain him. Before they got close enough he called over the radio for backup to his location and Bruce drove up to help his Brother. This resulted in a shootout with the Officer, luckily for the two brothers who was alone. Bruce helped Ding up from the ground and they jumped in the car before backup arrived. The two brothers headed up in the hills to lay low for a while. In the meantime Bruce attempted to remove Dings cuffs. After successfully removing the cuffs they hopped back in the car to get shelter from the rain. Whilst the two brothers were laying low they contacted the next in command member from the Triads, Chinese Pete. Pete arrived and brought up some supplies and food for the night so the two can lay low in peace. Now that the heat had died down again the brothers headed back into the city and got back to action.
  17. TRANSFER REQUEST Character to Transfer From: Shen Wong Character to Transfer To: Bruce Wong Requested Transfer: Asset # Schafter V12 Asset # Elegy RH8 Reason for Transfer: Shen Wong is no longer used for any RP. Dedicating all my time to my main character. How would you transfer the asset(s) if approved? Have a friend assist me. In Character background story/reason: Shen Wong has recently resigned from his job in Los Santos after receiving some bad news from an old friend back in Shandong, China. Shen has set up plans to leave the city, heading back home to China and is unsure if he will ever return. China is very strict with their import policies and Shen was unsuccessful in getting the import approved for his two vehicles. Shen is already more than wealthy enough and doesn't have time to wait around for the cars to sell. Instead he has decided to leave them to his elder brother who also lives in Los Santos, Bruce Wong. The two cars are a gift to Bruce for him inviting Shen to move out to Los Santos from Shandong. This way they don't waste away in a garage and will be looked after by another man who respects cars, as Bruce was formerly a mechanic before moving into the Chinese Takeaway business.
  18. Player(s) being reported: ID48, ID111, ID136 Date of interaction reported: 11/05/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1557592242 Your characters name: Bruce Wong Other player(s) involved: Li Kwang @Metrooo, Tyler Hall Specific rule(s) broken: 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. How did the player break the rule(s)? First interaction starts at 02:50, we were hunting down some MS13 as they had shot at an ally. Two of them drive up behind us and get out the car. I then ran over shouting demands (in text) whilst having a heavy shotgun out which they both ignored. I then get right at the passenger window with the shotgun whilst the driver is still outside, saying more demands and they were ignored. The driver then climbs in the car whilst under aim of the shotgun and starts the engine then driving off. Second interaction starts at 04:00 where you can see ID49 refusing to exit the vehicle even though he is surrounded by armed people aiming at him. Third interaction happens at 04:20 where ID111 can be seen fully ignoring FearRP when he has had demands made to him whilst being aimed at by a shotgun. Instead he reaches for his pistol and begins to shoot me, injuring me. (Unsure how he survived 4 heavy shotgun shots to the chest). Evidence of rule breach:

  20. Thought it be best I share my opinion on some of the comments as well: I'm a high ranked member from a gang that is directly involved it this war, I can assure you that the gangs aren't going out looking to DM but a war is a war and bullets will be fired. Even if some fired are mistakes, this also happens IRL. The second area I would like to raise is the "Staff shouldn't be allowed to participate in gangs/lead them." This is absurd, all staff members join the server as normal players to begin with and they're going to stick with the RP that they enjoy. If staff weren't allowed to join gangs they shouldn't be allowed in PD either in my opinion. This is due to PD having a direct influence on the criminal RP of the server. When it comes to the section of "Gang Leaders taking accountability" This already happens. All Official gangs and most unofficial have a punishment system in place for when it comes to members breaking rules. Just because they're part of the same gang it doesn't mean they're exempt from ECRP rules. The final point I'd like to raise is the "Gangs need to talk to staff." As you're inexperienced with the whole criminal side of the server let me help. Every official and most unofficial gangs have "Faction Handlers". These are staff members who are designated to help manage and advise the OOC aspects of the gang. If there are any issues noticed from staff it will be raised to the gang. I can also assure you that regular meetings from the gangs leaders and their handlers occur to keep the staff updated. Things only turn into an OOC issue when people take any given chance to the forums and even sometimes intentionally bait out reports.
  21. I'm neutral with this one in my opinion. I think the best solution would not be for KoS to be allowed but have "Deathmatching" apply less strictly to gang shootouts etc. The amount of time I've seen an opposing gang member run into an active shootout, get shot and complain about DM is crazy. I do like the sound of having to make it "Official" that the gangs are at war instead of hitting each other over and over. But I'll have to disagree with the always wearing gang colours section. Gangs like the Clowns for instance don't stick to a strict colour scheme and you're not going to put a mask on before every shootout.
  22. -1 in my opinion. If you're willing to trade outwith already scripted areas such as High End the risk should always be a factor. This would also add unneeded limits to potential criminal RP of scamming and gun trading etc. If you want to buy an illegal gun or evade tax there's always the risk of the trade falling apart. It's the same IRL.
  23. This is looking really promising. Hope you guys stick around and manage to keep one of the OG Story gangs alive!
  24. The war was about to swing into full action. The Triads were meeting up with their allies ahead of time. The meeting locations throughout the war were always changed. This stopped the police and rival gangs keeping track of the operations. Now that the plans had been set it place it was time to truly go to war. The Triads and their allies went out in full force, showing no mercy for the enemy. Convoys were formed to hunt down the Rival Gangs and take them off the streets, the numbers were unmatched. The opportunity was always seized to hit up any of the Rival Gangs. The war was still in full action. The tension was growing high in the war so the groups parked up and decided to have a little dance party to shake off the nerves.
