+1 think it would bring about great RP potential.

+1 I had a situation where someone rule broke and killed me, costing my legal character his Heavy Pistol with ammo, Car Speaker, GPS, Radio, etc. and it all accumulated to about 15-20k. I don't have enough time consistency to play a faction on this server, and being a farmer makes about 10k per IRL hour (highest paid freelance job I've found with job board). While it's not incredibly hard to make money, my character realistically shouldn't have lost that in the first place. Even outside of player report situations, an otherwise refundable reason causing you to lose even 10k absolutely blows. I don't know if I could go as far as suggesting a $1000 minimum, but I think $25,000 is too much. I have seen some refund requests list numbers lower than the $25,000 minimum, but don't know whether or not that would be the sole reason for them being denied.

I agree with the cosmetic preference, and I'm all for it, immersion and whatnot. But there then needs to be an adjustment to the vehicle inventory system (not trunk storage) because for it to make sense to scriptly store a bag or guns or bottles or whatever into a seat, that takes up general storage space in the cabin of the vehicle. If nothing changed you could put 3+ full bags in the vehicle seats, then have 10+vol of storage in the "inventory". Make the vehicle inventory much smaller, call it a glove compartment/center console and I'm 100% backing it.
-
yeah but that has no point in this suggestion, that's gonna happen if you have an inventory/trunk full of shit or car seats.
-
well I disagree in that sense lmfao, its against rules to rob people who crash thats an OOC issue. Yeah that a no from me homie. I think it'd make sense to implement what you're talking about if we removed interior vehicle inventories, but at some point a fuckin car could store way too much stuff
-
I think that the vehicle's "Inventory" is the scripted version of what you're saying. You can't justify putting a duffel bag in a glove compartment obviously, so it's implied that it gets tossed in the backseat/passenger/floor of vehicle. I think it'd be cool to see a visual render though! That could work especially for PD who play in first person- as they could see a gun on a seat or an open bottle of alcohol or meth, etc.

you can always see at the bottom of HUD if you're in an NCZ (near the time/location). Also issuing /ncz will inform you.

Big +1 I have resorted at this point to partially blocking the road with my truck when people are stuck on the side. Really makes no sense why we wouldn't have this.

I think it would be cool to see a dedicated parts system for the vehicles in LS. It is a big commitment code-wise, but having a legitimate damage system where if you smash the front end of a vehicle the radiator is damaged, bumper, intake, etc would be great RP. LSC/Bayview could have a legitimate parts room where our PDA tells us what to grab (all script of course). It could provide the possibility to eventually introduce black market vehicle parts that are cheaper and have no install cost (as other players could RP installing themselves), but could fail at any moment and have the possibility to stall the vehicle (if it were an integral part like a spark plug, battery, valve, etc) and bring the health of the vehicle down accordingly.

but once again this isn't too much for us to handle it's literally an IC regulation by PD

+1 to the inventory item dialogue too, that way you can RP stealing their SD cards
