I would like not to have conclusions shoved on my lap with my name on it, not even quoting what I exactly said. All I am saying that your post needs to be more specific and thought out as for me it comes over that you are still upset after your assets got removed and you want to show its stupid while knowing its quite obvious it was wrong what happend. Lets focus on this part I mentioned: "There are many cases where you can tell that even the person who gets punished could tell it is something you shouldn't do" The rules don't specificly state stuff like: "Dont DDoS the server or your assets get removed!". We got norms and values and scripting/macro'ing is a no go. Also what I was saying with my comment: "We are not recreating the law". Basically, ECRP is not specialized in juridical stuff, its a game. Accept things not being perfect and try to support it by being more specific. The fact they got a lot of power and they could do a lot doesn't mean they abuse it or even fully use it. This is how I support them and show them what I believe needs to be chanced regarding the rule book:

To clearify what rules exactly? You want to not discuss your personal case, but I don't see what rule needs to be clarified next to your case and the one of scamming (imo). You have to keep in mind, THEY provide YOU of the server. YOU join ECRP. If they want to randomly ban people, they can. If they want to, they should. If you don't like it, all you can do is let them know but they don't need to do anything if they don't want it. There are many cases where you can tell that even the person who gets punished could tell it is something you shouldn't do, but I would like to see specific points as this doesn't really start a discussion other then discussions about your personal ban. At the end, it's not the law we are recreating, but if you have specific points and ideas they might have something they can actually do with this post as even I don't really know what to discuss here other then just giving a yay or nay.

Not sure about this, but I think the whole concept of EXP is lost in general on ECRP and here is why: EXP stands for experience points. The more EXP someone has should be the more experience someone has. Sadly, this is not always the case on ECRP. VIP gives an EXP boost, basically making EXP just an random value. How does buying VIP give you more experience on the server? For me, EXP doesn't really say that much anymore. I don't even want to buy VIP because of this. Also, the EXP is seperated per character, but its still the same person playing those characters OOC and still having the same experience over all those characters. What I think should be nice is to actually remove the EXP boost from VIP, combine all character EXP's together and display that amount over all the characters. That way you can actually see how much experience someone has and not just on 1 character. Then some people should have more EXP to also get money from.

Well, I actually would love not to fully focus on supers. There are many vehicles out there and it doesnt has to be a super. Actually, I think its really good supers are that rare, it's more realistic that way. And no, I am not saying that because I own one... I wish I had one... I just think enough time passed and more vehicles should be added instead of removed/restricted. At the end, everyone drives cars and I love to see variation.

+1 Pretty non-RP walking in a bank with a mask. I think just something against masks in NCZ's should be done though... Not every "mask" is illegal imo, some just have bandanas covering their mouth, which is not really a mask. Would be a huge pain for PD to stop people and ticket them for wearing facial coverage, so for me, only at bank atm I think.

I think there is a point against this indeed. I agree with you guys. The problem with accepting 1 crime in a NCZ will leave the victim in a disadvantage (like I experienced). You can not do anything back really. You can't just hold a gun out as a hang member being scammed. Only thing where you can do something is the second the person drive off in the car they scammed from you. My point is, there are other rules that restrict you from getting it back somehow. For example the rule that you cant demand someone to take money out of an ATM and stuff. Its annoying 1 crime is allowed in a NCZ and because of the other stuff that isnt allowed you can barely fight back and you will always have a disadventage. I do think it should be allowed to scam in NCZ's, but I am hoping it will be at least added to the actual rule book.

Hello! Lately I got scammed at the bank. Now this is something that has been discussed a lot I noticed. My first point I want to suggest is the following: Not too long ago the rulebook got updated. Somewhere at the beginning of this year I believe. I did read through the rule book completely as the gang where 1 of my characers is in even asked us to read before logging in at all. On the forum, in the section where you can also find the rule book youo see this message: I highlighted the part what I want to specify now. When I was about to use the /transfervehicle command to sell a vehicle due to the market being full, I wanted to make sure that you could scam or not at NCZ's. I did see some announcements about it, but I could not find anything back in the rulebook regarding scamming exept for this 1 thing: "Players may not scam or deceive other players out of character for their property." The word "scam" does not return anywhere else in the rule book. When I did a /report in game to ask a member, which ECRP promotes to do in the message I quoted earlier if you have questions, I asked if you can scam at the bank. It turns out, the support staff who accepted my /report was not aware of the announcement made on 12 april that states you can scam at bank, so I was told you can not scam at the bank. I do believe it's very hard for people to enforce rules that are not stated in the actual rule book. The reason why I believe this is hard is that even support staff is not aware of this and I as a part of the community was not aswell. There was even an announcement on the server on 29 april who also stated you can not scam in NCZ's, making it even more clear that ECRP staff is confused or even totally not aware of this rule. To try and make it more clear why I think this is very weird and confusing I quote the part where this "rule" is stated: To be clear, this is stated on the forum in the development section. I honestly really wonder why in the world this is not in the rule book. How can rules be enforced if they are not in the book of rules. This basically tells me that you will have to read every development update to get to know what rule is added. Even for new players this is a pain in the ass. There was also never an announcement made about this in Discord: The last thing I want to mention is that when you make a forum report, you are asked to post the specific rule.... Well, I do not believe that is really possible this way. Whats even worse is that people are actively abusing this, even saying "look in the rule book"... and there you go, 200K gone. I would really really really appreciate that this will be added to the rule book at the NCZ's section and atcually I hope it will be done with care and thought, also removing the typo's in the "rule" mentioned in the development section. It can be really simple as this: I don't want to roam around the forum to find a rule where there is a rule book. I would like to see all the rules in one place and I believe this will clear it up a lot, also stopping even Support staff giving the false info as the rule book currently states that you can not commit any actions considered crimes in NCZ's... And scamming is a crime. This not only ruins New Player experience as I bet newer players will be like "Oh! Let's check the development page on the forum to see what rules are there next to the ones in the rule book!" but even I after playing for so long on this server, basically playing daily got my experience ruined. Its for me upsetting to see this as a reason refund requests getting denied: This really shows that its expected that you are aware of the development page on the forum which was not an announcement. My second point I want to suggest is the following: Maybe also use the server announcements more for this kind of things (rule changes) instead of notifying people who already spent €100,- + to donate to the server Extra comment I added:

Keep in mind though, it is not fast. Probably the reason why its not THAT exspensive compared to others, but it surely is nice.

Every vehicle got something that makes it nice though. Rumpo Custom for example with the special Windows Sentinel Classic: Great speed, loads of mods But I do agree that I think its quite sad that more vehicles are being removed instead of added. I think the past year they only added the 6x6 (Credit vehicle), Patriot Stretch (Credit vehicle) and the Dominator GTX. For the rest, removed supers from dealerships, removed Comet Retro fully, removed normal Comet only from Dealerships, removed Tractor... am I missing something? I just hope they will finally consider adding more vehicles. Now, if you want an exspensive vehicle, you pay 600K, but if you want something above that would will need like 4 million... Would love to see 1 mill deaslership cars and some more affordable donator vehicles. PS. also might help draining some money if people spend more money on cars as I believe when a car form a dealership is bought it only partly goes to the owner and the other part dissapears... which wont happen when vehicles get removed and sold from player to player.

This title should pretty much explain the suggestion already, but will explain a bit more. Basically, if someone carries a body the person can just still sprint as fast as people who do not carry a body at all which is not realistic in my opinion. I think the speed you walk when you are really low HP would make more sense to have as the walking speed when carrying a body. It happens too many times people just grab a body of a scene of LSPD and they just run full speed without you having a chance to get closer on foot. PS. This suggestion is not only because of the people Powergaming and "stealing" bodies from scenes, it's also because in my opinion it makes way more sense. Any feedback?

Yeah! Give a criminal his car back when he got active charges! Lets get them back on the road! Sorry for being sarcastic, but I experience this topic from both sides: criminal and officer. What people need to understand is that most of the vehicles get impounded for a reason. Mostly, crime. Still people expect we will do everything for them. If you ring and no one comes, maybe just do something else instead of waiting for hours? If no one is around, you come back later right? That makes sense for me. I wonder what you exactly mean with "respect or play by normal civilians rules"... Couldn't really figure out what you want to say by that, but there is a difference in priorities first of all. This is just something you will have to deal with as a criminal/felon in my opinion. Life isn't easy for criminals and I wonder what you expect if someone wants to get a car back while having active charges. And yes, calling emergency hotlines for that is basically calling police for an empty bottle of shampoo and it is an official charge you can get. You can ring for an officer, no need to call. I recommend getting to know this "issue" from both sides aswell. Not only from 1. Hopefully you then realize how it is.

Honestly, that's even worse. Also not really helping the economy aswell and no one would care you are robbing a house that doesn't belong to anyone

Never had the problem missing the AFK warning... But if people actually do, there should be a solution for this. The question is, how big is this problem as I can't find myself in here.

-1 I kinda get where this suggestion comes from, but IRL this is kinda different. I am 1000% sure this will get "abused" in a way where people could just break into houses fairly easily without being noticed. You will also get specific people who will be the victim of this over and over again most likely. Especially once they know when the person is normally "sleeping" and when not. People would like to have a place to keep there stuff, even when "sleeping" as they can't do anything against it when logged off. Great suggestion, but as of now I give it a -1.

The question is, will this affect the quality of the review?

+1 I've seen the question in Discord if you could block numbers. If that option was already there I would have used it for sure. What I did was just sending the person I wanted blocked an OOC message, requesting if he would agree I would block them so they won't send any messages anymore, but I would love to see an actual implementation on this.

As someone else mentioned, it's really just something you have to get used to and train.

There was indeed a report done by someone who happen to have a dot on his screen. That person indeed got punished. Sadly we can't keep track of what adventages everyone have. Actually, I do have one as well. I have an ultra wide monitor which gives me a greater POV, but that is no software. Just adding it back because people "cheat" is something I am really against at. And at the end, people who have it can't really make reports themselves anymore. Also what I mentioned earlier, they should realize it's a RP server, no CSGO to or whatever. This person I quoted is right in some way imo but we can't be sure everyone follows the rules, but at least some, if not the most, do it. Adjusting a rule so everyone follows it because they are already breaking it isn't a way it should work.

-1. Thought I would hate it when I saw the notes, but at the end I like how it is so hard to aim now. Changing this because of people breaking rules by using software to get a crosshair should not be a reason. They should reconsider why they play on a RP server and not GTA Online.

You will need to verify your Discord in the ECRP Discord itself in a channel that is called something like "Verify..." I believe. If you can't find it, try contacting any server staff or a friend who got himself already verified.

There is a new IP and port, so you should be able to join now (not actually now as the connection just got closed(hopefully not for long)), so just check #announcements in the Discord and you are all set
