  1. 5 million assets wise is a lot though imo. Vehicles only count for import value.
  2. this is gonna get abused in some other way. Peopel see when you disconnect and you can inform them OOC.
  3. REMOVED: No longer available
  4. Audrey had an unique life experience back in France. When she got older she had to deal with a lot of stuff which caused her to move to this city. She got in the city with no plans, friends, family or anything. Not even a passion for cars. Just the need to escape from her situation at home was what she brought. (Full character story can be found here. Story is not 100% up-to-date yet) Audrey has been in the city for a long time now and met many people. Most people she met at the beginning aren't around anymore with no ability to reach out to them. Audrey developed her passion for cars and started working. A lot. She worked for DCC, Weazel, Bayview, LSC, PD and also did MD, but after 8 years ((2+)) she decided that there is no point in waiting even longer to start living. "You don't realize how much you love something until it's gone" That is the feeling Audrey gets when losing her position in a race. This sentence is something she is using a very long time, as it is something some people forget, untill it's actually gone. People should appreciate everyone around them and take good care. The Midnight Club does take very good care of everyone and that should be valued. Being retired and racing gives a feeling of freedom. Being in The Midnight Club adds love to that.
  5. This post is almost a year old, but honestly, I still believe it would be cool to have this improved
  6. Honestly, best thing you can do RN is just learn from it and use that info. There is nothing that can be done. Now you know and you have the option to return It can't be reverted anyway
  7. "Moving forward, we're going to disallow robberies from taking place in areas that would realistically be populated or areas with many player witnesses. Areas that are realistically populated could be highways, clothing stores, gas stations etc etera. "
  8. I mean, its stated in their rules. Can't really go against that tbh.

    Vehicle mileage

It wasn't really about the fact that we have to pay. Yes I have a super. Yes I worked 2 years to get it. It wasn't just given. My only concern is, like mentioned before, something permanent would get implemented which will affect vehicles in general. Of course people with supers will be more worried, as we indeed pay like minimum 18 mill for one. Like mentioned before, I don't mind paying over time, but that isn't the point. The point is that SOMETHING will be done with this mileage while we already rack it up. We can't just assume what will happen, as no one knows. Hence this post, to discuss if there were any ideas what would happen with this. Not to mention also non-super car owners are wondering the same, as even new players work hard for "lower tier" cars.

this sounds perfect to be honest.

If this will be implemented, I am 100% fine with it. As long as it isn't something permanent, as it will cause issues with credit vehicles, renting out cars, letting people use yoru cars or having cars stolen.

    Vehicle mileage

it is indeed mentioned that for now it doesn't do anything, but in the future it will (said by NBDY). There are just concerns that suddenly some people get affected very hard because they rack up their miles now before it actually affects something. Not sure if they already have some sort of idea how they wanna implement this.

I personally wouldn't mind a balance between realism but also fun indeed.

I think their main idea is just similair to the one of engine. Where some sort of repair type would "reset" it. But the idea's aren't really the issues honestly, as apperantly they already have future plans, but we already rack up mileage on our cars without knowing how/how bad we will get affected when this actually will mean something.
  15. personally not a fan of the new interaction system at all. I rather stick to commands.

as of now, visual repairs are based on vehicles import price afaik, which imo would be a great baseline for this idea too. But then again, I have no idea what their plans are. Mainly the fact people could steal your car and purposely drive it around a lot is something I have in mind. At the end I just hope it won't kill the vibe of driving certain cars, as I mentioned before; at the end its GTA and its mostly about cars.

Not only that, I personally like how rare they are now. If the milage will be 100% permanent, I would assume they will add more supers, which could really ruin it for certain people who saved their way up to one, not like those people who had one before they got removed. Not to mention it will also ruin it for credit vehicles, having it permanent.

something similair to the engine repair system, but then indeed based on mileage would be awesome, which would still give me the joy to drive and prevent me from dumping certain cars in parkinglot forever.

    100% agreed with this.
  20. so, after last update you can more specificly decide if you wanna open a door, hood or anything else of a car. Now if you try to open a door for example, you get a notification the vehicle is locked. My suggestion is to add a /ame like: [player] attemps to open the door [Player] attemps to open the trunk This would show the people who can actually see the person that someone touches the doorhandles and stuff. (preventing people to use this to see if a vehicle is locked)

    Vehicle mileage

Hello, So, I noticed in the game changes that /mileage has been added. Later in Discord I saw NBDY mention: "mileage doesn't affect anything atm, but it will in the future" All cool, but it's a bit "unfair" to let people drive around now and then in the future get affected by it as the effects of this whole /mileage thing isn't know yet. GTA is a game where you drive a lot, as it's just made like that. IRL I don't drive as much as in GTA for obvious reasons, so I am kinda debating now what to do/if I should play at all till this is known due to owning a car I have worked 2 OOC years for. Hope someone can clear this up.

  23. Really love seeing a faction like this grow. Please please please don't let it die! Love it. Especially the forum post/updates make it great for everyone.
  24. +1, both from PD's side and criminals side. I agree, it's easier to use ID's, but it doesn't mean it's impossible to use Fname_Lname. Not to mention if you put in a part of the name, the MDC will actually show the record of the person with the name closest to what you filled in, also only showing it of the person that is online. Some might didn't know this yet. /PM's work the same way. When I was in PD, I really only used it after seeing a license, but it was purely because it is indeed just easier. 1 time, due to my keyboard randomly failing, I accidentally pressed charges on the wrong person because of this, which is hard to explain IC as ID's are OOC. From my criminal side, it's obviously hard to confirm if things were done legit or not so I won't assume, but I just find it very uncomfortable knowing ID's can be used. IRL names would be used aswell, player ID's aren't a thing there When it comes to the RP of scanning fingerprints, seeing if the person is registrated, you don't need an ID either honestly. Just make use of the commands to RP; /me and /do's.
  25. +1, Came back with an RV ontop of my car way too many times
