  1. +1 I want to know if i am speaking to a grandpa or a younglin. I would respect the elders more. Also make licenses seperate - driving, gun and other licenses as mentioned in another suggestion.
  2. +1 why cant i store 200volume thing in a 200volume safe!!! why do i have to cut it in 4 parts!!! lets goo!!!
  3. dont say the quiet part out loud
  4. Well I agree with you but this is how this server been running and staying up. Crim players have chosen their path. If you want to be legal, and do stocks and own businesses then you will have to choose a different path. The fines are based on the liquid money you already have and the crimes you have committed. You can observe that when you go to DOC or when you receive the hourly Stimulus check. Would love other Civilian players put their thoughts on this and share them.
  5. I have had a change of mind. Crims would have a lot of fun roleplaying with this. Especially when a beefing enemy faction member has been kidnapped. +1 to this suggestion
  6. Well this seems like a big buff to criminals if they can legally store money without any repercussions or possible threats of property seizure.. oh wait, we already have that! Homes and vehicles. IRL dont remember criminals keeping their homes or vehicles or businesses after they got convicted only if those properties were under a different name(a legal one, maybe even family member) which people also do in this server - they give cars and homes to their friends who play legally or at least avoid LEOs at all costs just so they have properties. (I am talking about fully roleplaying writing properties under legal friend names, not RWT+MetaGaming)
  7. I will have to be a little disrespectful here. So if this offends OP or anyone else, feel free to report my reply and admins will decide upon my fate. Here it goes - Don't like trash? Take the cans and put them somewhere away. Maybe even a trash bin. If it bothers you so much! I do that! Though I don't need people paying me money just so I could be clean and tidy! I do it out of sheer will of wanting no trash laying around which does annoy me. But I do it so it would be nice and clean!!! I also do not want people breaking my immersion just because they see 10$/100$/200$ can laying around and they need to quickly run to the recycling machine to get those dollars. It is pathetic and a waste of time and will damage roleplay. I have seen people standing over a dead body after a shootout deciding whether to take the gps and drop it in pawnshop or take the water bottle so they dont need to buy another bottle at the store. So stupid. What is the point of making Devs/Modders work extra just to implement a small 10$ money scheme? Now - I understand this was a suggestion and you should not be bullied for suggesting, but this idea is unironically total trash! Would love to hear everyone else's thoughts.
  8. I doubt that people will agree with me but being broke or losing money to the point i cant even buy food is the roleplay I am here for. 1000$ per hour for anyone who doesnt have a lot of money is more than enough to save players from hunger IC but also forces them to work if they want a simple change of clothes. Though if this gets implemented I can see crims abusing this to save their money if they ever get brutally raided or caught in heinous crimes by LEOs. Which of course results in serious fines adjusted to their net-worth and also possible property seizure. So if this gets implemented then every time an individual is caught being a criminal but also has stocks in their property consider the stocks as a property and therefore confiscate them. Real talk here.
  9. I like this idea a lot because it reminds me of tanky classes from other video games. The idea of a Heavy guy, always with armor plates, ammunition and blunts is quite cool. Because my playstyle when it comes to PvP roleplay situations and other competitive shooter games is not being good at aiming but more so as a tank. While of course it would be useful for other playstyles as well but if the situation is a lab shootout then some are cooks focusing on ingredients and having the inventory almost empty while others are mainly heavies and look for any other gang coming in.
  10. Understandable, so I assume the phrase PvP/Clapper is more so used just to discredit a rival faction. How about any other way of upholding faction lore? Homes(their design and locations), clothes, vehicles, guns. The faction of course decides itself what is their faction's inherent lore and style at the current moment. But I have heard videos of people saying each other ``how can you call yourself X you dont even dress like X`` or ``how can you call yourself Z you dont even drive [specific type of vehicle appropriate to faction Z lore]`` Regardless of that, who is responsible for upholding faction lore and what would be the punishments for not upholding faction lore? If I am making a faction and I am the founder - should my faction members be punished for wearing clothes that are subjectively (not objectively) unappropriate of our faction`s lore? If I let them unpunished, will the admins punish them? And also - I assume a lot of people would not like to be forced to dress a certain way just because they joined a specific faction or even drive their vehicles, because that would take some time to get them if not already in their roster. And if that is everyone - is any faction different? Some high-tier factions just seem like same vehicles, same guns, same appartments and houses, same strategies, same crimes they commit. Maybe the colors and the faction HQ locations are different. Some times even the colors are not that different from each other. And so every beef I see in reports or hear from others about high-tier factions seems more like personal beef between 2 people and just a group of friends behind them. To not make anyone angry - I want to explore and learn, as a new player would be rather taught about roleplay rules and how every faction differs rather than immediately forum post locked. I want to learn and understand where my IC can go and relate himself to. Not join a faction because they wear my favorite color.... P.S. This is not to discredit any faction - As you see I have not named any names. I am simply observing and I know I am not alone. A lot of people are confused about this, and I just wanted to have a discussion rather than get shut down.
  11. literally @Demonmit1 has it thought out. If you issue a warrant against a person, LEO`s can ask staff to check their phone logs, Lifeinvader private group chats and so on. Also admins can provide evidence through discord the same way I provide my dashcam footage to a LEO through discord when he thought I was speeding but actually he was bugging fr.
  12. you know how some cars especially government faction cars and freelance job cars have locked gps and map and also car speaker in the glovebox? why cant i lock my car speaker in? additional right click function `Lock` and it locks it in the glove compartment after like 5-10 seconds of quick time. This is not powergaming because if my goal was to actually steal something and not abuse game mechanics, i would tell the person to `unlock` the speaker from the glove compartment. It would also make sense to store my legal gun in my vehicle. like a `safe` meaning a gun safe what i am always lying about in my firearms licensing application. Or if car legal owner is not around, that sounds like another use for the crowbar yet again - to unlock something from the glove compartment. sounds pretty simple to implement because it already exists. the question is if admins/modders/devs are willing to make this QoL improvement.
  13. Disclaimer: Please do not lock this thread admins, everything I write here is not passive aggressive. I am new here and want to learn! Hello beautiful people, I have few questions to people that are part of criminal and civilian (not government) factions. I am asking this because I am new at creating factions. 1)What does "upholding faction lore" mean to you? 2)What is a PvP / Clapper faction? Some people call some factions that way, I want to know why and if it is a real thing! 3) Is being a PvP / clapper faction bad and contributes negatively to the community or actually just the opposite? 4.1)If contributes good to community - Can I create a faction dedicated just for PvP? 4.2)If contributes bad to community - Why are they allowed to exist? Please do not take this questionaire as passive aggressive - I am new member of the community and I have heard a lot of people saying this and that about some factions. A lot of high tier factions accusing each other for ''upholding the faction lore'', so I just wanted to clear the air for me and maybe some other curious people about what that all is about! To not get this thread locked - let us not use any names of people or factions! Thank you!
  14. Date and time (provide timezone): Since August 2024 at least. Possibly has been there for even longer time. Character name: Niklass Johnson Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: Has never stopped appearing Issue/bug you are reporting: I am in a criminal faction, a government faction and I can not join a civilian faction Expected behavior: Able to join a civilian faction while being in a criminal faction. Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: I have 52 second video footage of this but it includes information that I would not want to share with everyone here publicly because it contains sensitive IC information, so if any staff/devs/founders wants to see it - i can send it in PMs or Discord DMs Vehicle license plate number*: - Extra info: A lot of my criminal faction members also can not join the civilian faction. Some of them are also in a government faction but some only in a criminal faction. My friends have experienced this bug at least since August, so it has been at least 3 months. I suspect I and my friends can not join a civilian faction BECAUSE we are in a criminal faction and most civilian factions would not benefit of having criminals in them ICly. Though would like to note that the specific civilian faction is not in a position that they would have repercussions ICly for having crim characters in their faction as I've been led to believe. The civilian faction leader has stated OOCly that he has had a discussion with staff/devs about this and they are looking to resolve the issue. But after searching about this over Bug report forum history, I decided to make an official bug report about this to possibly raise awareness to any staff/devs that haven't heard about this. Thank you!
  15. also add canes that have like james bond features, like 1 shotgun shell, tear gas and a grappling hook. Would be a lot of amazing roleplay opportunities with that!
  16. Yes I agree. Right now if i am helping out a fellow person but for some IC reason decide to change my mind about helping the person and leaving them in an alleyway to die/call for medics, I simply can't do it quickly enough, especially with the hitboxes so in the end I give up and decide to help the person. This would allow people to have wide variety of roleplay like acting like your helping but actually turning round the corner, robbing the player and leaving them there to die. That is so exciting. Cant wait for the devs to make it easier for me!
  17. i will quote someone who i personally do not agree nor disagree with but a lot of members of the community do agree with. shift+clicking instantly would be unrealistic because in real life people don't have the capabilities to teleport items between 2 inventories. this would be QoL improvement for PvP'ers especially when looting dead bodies to quickly leave the shootout scene before the police comes. i myself have gotten a minor carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand wrist from the many years of playing FPS games competetively and that would be actual QoL improvement to me as i will not need to flex my index finger for long periods of times moving clothes from one briefcase to another. Though we already have many ways that ease the inventory exchange between 2 players - with item dropping and handing over mechanics - and I am very thankful for that. So for me it would be great but I already see myself and others using it to their advantage in PvP/CrimvsLeo situations. But if this gets implemented then I also want car picklocking leveling as well, so when I pick lock a car for the 100th time, it wouldnt take me as long as a new player because my character has done it for a while and has learned to do it quickly.
  18. why not love the face you chose from the start?
  19. Diligo

    Undercover LEO

why so emotional? i havent got caught in public, i am just asking but you start assuming immediately! keep calm and chill
  20. Diligo

    Undercover LEO

if i become leo and i get to work as undercover - is all of my roleplay just being in a public place and watching all of the ''/ame's'' above people's heads for possible illegal action? if so, sign me up, very interesting roleplay. always win. love it
  21. this poll is anonymous to save you from embarassment
  22. Do you think yourself or do others think for you?
  23. Thank you for this suggestion, I will continue to do just that. I can't wait, I am so excited!
  24. Strong word, strong emotions, big roleplay opportunities. I have not been betrayed recently so understand this doesn't come from a place of frustation but rather a place from observation of other factions. Main idea: Betrayal should be built up between factions. Not OOC discussed and agreed upon decision between gangs, but rather make it as an alternative roleplay request.(kind of) I dont think gangs betray each other that often, but OOC anger leads to small beefs which may lead to betrayals for small things, which is unrealistic (believe me I watch movies) I give example please treat seriously what I am about to say: Faction A encounters Faction B Faction A decides not to be hostile towards Faction B Faction B also decides not to be hostile towards Faction A Both factions form a relationship, later business and then later partnership. Some time passes, a small group of Faction A knowingly or unknowingly betrays a small group of Faction B in a public lab. That wouldnt be considered betrayal, more so the leaders of both factions later meet to discuss peaceful incident resolvement. Maybe some payments for damages. But still the small group of Faction B people still hold a grudge. Leaders of Faction B hear out the small group and understand they are not happy even with the recieved reperations. Can Faction B still decide to betray Faction A? Well per the rules there is nothing that would state that it would be Non-RP for Faction B to now betray Faction A in a larger scale. Family comes first, right? As we all strive for better roleplay and try our best to not drive our sports cars in labs, it is hard for us to understand what it would be like to actually betray someone in real life! Much less a criminal organization! So what do you lovely people say about that we need certain build up - recorded conversations over weeks, maybe even additional incidents involving small groups from both factions fighting knowingly or unknowingly (masks/clothing colour) that would conclude in ultimate betrayal! Example: Faction B continues business, maybe even cook and hold a lab together with Faction A, but after every operation they talk about how they still don't like what had happened previously. Then after a while and with recorded proof of growing dislike of Faction A - Faction B requests OOCLY to Faction Management for Betrayal option. So the Faction A wouldnt know when the betrayal happens they can only ask the FM after the fact if Faction B requested Betrayal option. Pros: Big piece of story added to each faction lore Betrayals wouldnt be every week or so just because someone called someone a bad name Relationships would grow stronger Friendships would be hard to be broken apart and every betrayal/break-up would be a HUGE DEAL Possibly less petty reports because gangs would be focused on the ultimate betrayal rather than hitting people with little admin jails here and there. Everytime a partnership would be up for establishing, people would take some serious thinking time before becoming friends (also a con) Cons: Admins have an additional query to investigate everytime(my guess is it wouldn't happen that often) Logically when betrayal happens - a good relationship between each and every member of factions would be forever hard or even impossible to achieve again. Footage for evidence for betrayal option. (wouldn't be that hard to store and then later edit it) Everytime a partnership would be up for establishing, people would take some serious thinking time before becoming friends (also a pro) Thank you for reading this, no need to compliment my time spent writing this and formatting this, it took me like 5 minutes, please just share what do you think but try your best to agree to my idea so admins would accept it and implement it, please!
