  2. Good suggestion +1
  3. +1! You can play playlists that are one full video as VIP, but a queue system would be poggers!
  4. -1 As others said, it’s another barrier to be able to use the ammo and the mags mess with the ammo capacity the last thing I need is someone spraying HP rounds at me with a drum/box mag with 100 rounds in the mag
  5. I was misinformed! I've edited my post, apologies for the wrong info! However I do wish there could be more tell-signs that a house is being robbed, I'm unsure of how to go about it though.
  6. It already is considered metagaming to go solely based on the WI. EDIT: Whoopsies I was wrong! I believe the current stance is that the WI helps to aid investigation if a house is being robbed, because if the lack of being able to see movement through windows or a broken lock. That said, if someone sees suspicious stuff like a car parked outside or someone moving stuff into a vehicle in the middle of the night, they can investigate.
  7. Who is the suggestion for? - Players working in Weazel News. Why is the suggestion being made? - I am on Weazel News on one of my characters, and I believe it would be more immersive when recording content. What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? - It would be more immersive and let you record things better being able to zoom in with a psuedo first person perspective. I don't think there would be much cons to this. How should the suggestion be implemented? - Add a similar script to what already exists with the polaroid cameras to /WeazelCamera
  8. @Kazjii @Assured cigarette update when? Also +1
  9. I can get why people would be against even a semi-automated system since it takes away from RP, but on the other end of that double edged sword is a player who just wants to get their vehicle, sometimes the only one they own, out of impound. I think it’s fair to say that waiting upwards of half an hour, especially when officers are busy with other calls, can be frustrating and, at times, feel unfair. I could argue that players waiting for extended periods of time already takes away from RP also, because a lot of those people are criminals that want to get back to doing what they do, and they’d be able to be out on the streets faster and be able to give cops RP to do for them to enforce the law.
  10. I’d love for the RP rating commands to have some use! If someone enjoys my RP (or vice versa), I’d have a better grasp of what people like or dislike from my character. I feel like for this to get implemented correctly, it would have to be done anonymously and in a way that wouldn’t promote targeting or brigading another player. Perhaps there could be some sort of delay after running /goodrp or /badrp before it gets displayed to the player so you truly wouldn’t know who rated it.
  11. Yes, you can communicate to other players via text chat, and /r for using the radio. The T button will open your chat and anything you type and enter will be IC, unless you enter a command. I can promise you can still have a great time playing without a microphone, and I personally know at least 4 players off of the top of my head who exclusively play without a microphone and they engage in amazing RP. You can view this thread to view the commands you can use in game for roleplay. Additionally in the future, should you need to post another topic in the Technical Support section, you should use the provided format in the Technical Support Thread Requirements.
  12. This was fixed in the most recent patch.
  13. +1 My best advice to people is if its something that would get your ass beat IRL its best not to say or do in game, people forget that this is a lot of people's escape from whatever they gotta deal with in the real world. Doing stuff like this out of the blue says a lot about a player. You can get your IC points across or getbacks without being a pervert.
  14. +1 Adding onto this, I’d like the idea of having something like an item frame or display case furniture that lets you put an item into the inventory, and whatever you put in it will get displayed, like a note for example it would show whatever is on the note
  15. Putting aside the fact that the issue here was using a scripted vehicle in a way that goes against server rules, I have to ask, why would someone risk causing significant damage to their personal vehicle like this in real life? There’s a reason people rely on flatbeds and tow trucks for vehicle recovery. Even if done carefully, pushing a disabled car with another vehicle carries a high risk of damaging both, which is why it’s not a common or recommended practice outside of controlled situations.
  16. +1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also this may be worth making a bug report for
  17. @Mpache time for you to make a crim!
  18. Who is the suggestion for? This suggestion is targeted mostly toward players that take another player hostage, and the allies of the player taken hostage. Why is the suggestion being made? During my time playing, I've noticed countless instances of hostage situations, where the RP gets cut short, as a result of the hostage taker being gunned down. I am suggesting a rework of FearRP (or an entirely separate rule) to extend to players that your character would realistically value the safety of. Examples being that gang members would realistically value their allies' lives, and that the LSPD or LSSD would realistically value the lives of civilians and fellow officers. As an example, if Jim is the leader of his gang, and Bobby's gang decides to kidnap Jim and keep him as a hostage, I believe that Jim's gang should have to first try and negotiate for the safety of Jim, rather than immediately open fire to free Jim. The same should apply if Jim decides to take an officer of the LSPD hostage. Of course, if all else fails and negotiations break down, then a gunfight could still happen. The main idea is to prioritize RP and make negotiations the first step instead of going straight to violence. What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? Some PROS of this suggestion would be: It would allow for more fluid RP scenarios to take place. It would allow better RP development to occur. It would be a better RP experience for the hostage takers by allowing their scenario to fully play out. It would encourage teamwork, and communication during negotiations rather than resorting to immediate gunfights. Some CONS for this suggestion would be: It may slow down scenarios, and "drag out" certain scenes. It could be hard to truly determine when a negotiation would fail. How should the suggestion be implemented? The rework could include guidelines, something like: Players must make a reasonable effort to negotiate for the safety of individuals their character cares about before engaging in violence. Clear criteria could be set to specify when negotiation is considered to be failed, or if communication is refused. PLEASE KEEP THIS ON TOPIC, I DON'T WANT TO START A COP V CRIM THREAD XOXO
  19. It’s actually easier than people think to build connections with established groups and buy Kevlar from them. If you’re willing to swallow your pride and offer something they need to maintain their turf or operations, they’re usually open to making deals. It’s more of a transactional relationship, sure, but if you help them out, they’re more likely to help you in return.
  20. +1, also make this work with anyone driving the car, instead of just the owner
  21. I’m gonna have to -1 this for now, on paper it sounds like a good idea, but in practice it would cause people to rob or kill cops more than it already happens.
