  1. So this comes with the whole decreased welfare changes, which also makes what I am about to suggest more viable. I thought it would be a good idea previously however with welfare being so high it wouldn't make much difference. I would love to see a system that for being arrested can affect your job, such as being 'fired' (blacklisted) from being a courier for example. This means you cannot simply sit on a good job paycheck whilst also committing crimes. This would therefore put you back onto only earning a lowered welfare amount. I don't think it makes much RP sense anyway for all these people to be employed this way IC'ly. The length of the blacklist could of course change depending on the severity of the crime, meaning they would be IC'ly fired from their job, having to wait before taking one up again. This would match being fired, and finding it hard to find another job due to their recent criminal history. This could also work with my other suggestion I just posted, where not doing your job could also have a firing mechanic: Upon being arrested, they would receive this blacklist whether they are currently employed or not (to avoid people simply quitting the job as they are arrested) - this is just for clarity cos Mr King is dumb . It would also be a possibility to have one exemption where they could still get a 'shitty' job of the garbage trucks, but something would need to be done to not allow them to simply sit on that salary either, but still giving a way to earn some money.
  2. Try changing from DirectX 11 to 10, if this fixes the memory leak issue but you experience crashes change to 10.1 as this was implemented to fix crashing issues. Check that DirectX 10 fixes it first though before testing 10.1.

    Rob houses

-100. Respectfully, this is a really, really bad idea. Would be abused to the extent that nobody would ever keep items in their house. I've seen this on some videos online and it just makes it look bad. It's non RP as it results in people running from house to house over and over.
  4. +1. Considering that people can overhear your phone number, or take it by force - it makes no sense that there is no way to block people from your number. Not to mention those that you maybe fell out with and they simply pester you. There should be a way to stop them from contacting your phone.
  5. Money does not equal a direct winning advantage. That's the point. These donations keep the server running, allowing you to play and make any money at all. Once again, as I've said already - I don't need massive changes, but the price does not match the rewards. The support on this thread so far is pretty clear. Anyway, not interested in arguing with you. Thanks for your input.
  6. You might want to look up what pay to win actually means buddy. But no - no it is not what I want. I literally just said I'm happy with the way VIP is - the price is just too high. Not sure what you're on about.
  7. For those saying that I am asking for P2W - I am not at all. If the server feels that they must remove so many of the benefits, lower the price. Simple as that. I'm actually totally happy with how the rewards are, but the price is too high for what we get. Increase benefits, or lower the price. Nobody wants P2W including myself.
  8. +1 to the increase but 8 hours is maybe a bit much, at least for now, even if it is only for those who commit more serious crimes. My only worry is although DOC is settled as a faction, prison RP is still relatively quiet with it usually ending in punching DM matches. Quite often DOC guards dont RP with prisoners at all, apart from Jack. I do agree with it being increased though, maybe more to a max of 4-5 hours for serious crimes.
  9. I won't mention the old SAMP server name but as a lot of us here, including staff are from there - you'll already know what I'm talking about. The benefits to VIP right now are dog poop. This wouldn't bother me much if the price matched, but 10 EUR a month for VIP? Thats more than many AAA subscription based games. I would like for the rewards to be looked at again, and possibly even a tier system. I would love an expensive option, one that is permanent with good benefits. Whilst I pay for VIP, not a single one of my friends think its worth it - and I agree.. I buy it to support the server but if things aren't changed I certainly won't renew when my 12 months are up. Tiers could be in Bronze, Silver and Gold - with a Platinum (or whatever name) as a permanent but expensive option. Rewards could be: Increased salary, Discounted mors cost, vehicle upgrades/repairs, cheaper access to weapons/armour. Increased rewards from drugs or fishing - and so on. I acknowledge that some things are made awkward by the fact that in some cases you're effectively purchasing from player owned businesses but something needs to be done.
  10. Criminals being arrested is non rp? Maybe they're just bad criminals? Anyway it really isn't the relevancy of this topic. Nobody is talking about prison sentences or even criminals - this applies to people that simply had their car impounded for parking or whatever.
  11. And it's not RP for you to shove elephants in your backside. See? I can bring up irrelevant points too. I don't often go to prison at all. I just happened to today. The point is just that there is too much of a wait to get vehicles out.
  12. I would argue that it's simply not RP. Just because a player deserves punishemtna nd a system punishes a player doesn't mean it should happen. Consider the RP of it and how it would happen in a realistic situation. Police irl don't just force released criminals to wait ages for their vehicle for no reason.
  13. I would say the prison sentence is the punishment... not waiting for hours irl for something that RP'ly would be staffed constantly.
  14. Considering there are often cops just standing around - I don't see this as ringing true. This isn't an isolated situation and it is one that happens all day every day. I would understand if there were loads of vehicle pursuits but what about when 5 cops are just standing around PD? Or something else? Do cops just need better training? Multiple times today even, cops have even been AT the impound lot after doing something, such as impounding a vehicle - but they don't bother to help.
  15. Real simple, the lack of interest from cops to go to the impound to let cars out is having a negative impact on people's roleplay. Police officers do not get any reward whatsoever for going to impound, so most don't even bother. I know not everything has to be the same as real life, but irl there are always staff at police impounds and it's rather annoying to stand around for real life hours waiting for an officer to come. Even if you go to PD usually they make an excuse as to why they need to suddenly leave or do something else. I'm not bashing the cops or anything - but if there was a percentage of a fine or something that they would receive to at least give them more reasons to actually do this, it would help a lot. Right now cops just don't really bother. It doesn't need to be in the form of payment, just some way to improve things. This could include letting cadets handle impounds, having shifts where someone is posted there and so on.

    NCZ Farm's

-1. You're putting too many assumptions connecting them to real life farmers that dont have much. Farmers in dangerous places actually get robbed a lot. If the farmers have stuff worth robbing, it'll happen. Simple as that. NCZs make sense. They are places that can be ICly justified as protected. A farm far outside the city and far from police presence? No.
  17. -1. By lengthening the protected status, you're just removing part of roleplay from them. Being robbed is just part of it and often helps players decide what they want to do. Do they want to be a cop to stop it happen? Do that. Join that gang, or maybe you hate them so you join their enemy? Maybe you want to just avoid it and get into a safer job like mechanic, DCC or whatever. There will always be lazy people or just people who don't find things out before New Player runs out.
  18. It depends on how you look at it. If I were to trade my credit vehicles in for maybe 80% worth of what I paid for it, if I wanted to get something else I would have to buy more credits. If I'm stuck with this vehicle however, I am far less likely to want to buy another / better vehicle, and so do not spend any more money.
  19. Whilst I've already posted a suggestion to make fishing more interested, this is not the same thing. Fishing right now is pretty fun, and can be a chill way of getting away from everything and just fishing. My issue however is the way your fishing rod goes back into your inventory after every fish you catch. Simply allow us to keep it out, hitting K whenever we get a bite. With the current system of having to press K to catch one - having the rod out for good until cancelled does not create an AFK fishing problem, as if they aren't hitting K they aren't catching a thing. This would make our lives fishing much easier.

    GANG WAR

-1. Not only for the whole GTA Online argument, and that it makes this complicated - other players, especially new ones, will think people are going around DM'ing people. It causes too many issues. Just roleplay like you are now, as you are supposed to.
  21. Straight off: this is not a suggestion to allow imported vehicles to be traded around for in game money etc. (although I would support it). That's not what this is about. I feel there should be something you can do with the imported vehicles if you decide you no longer want them, or you now have something better. Whilst I am not in this position, a player can easily hit the vehicle limit especially if they're trying to find anything to support the server for. I don't think spending an extra 500 credits for every extra vehicle slot is a reasonable solution. Plus, a player's financial progression would eventually result in them being able to buy better vehicles, leaving the credit vehicles useless - and resulting in a possible sense of regret in purchasing the vehicle. Primarily I am just worried that with the current donating reward options being rather basic, that the server will not have the income that most servers experience. The VIP rewards are okay, but nothing more. I do not want Pay to Win options or overpowered choices however there should be something to draw in more money. I've asked a few of my friends who usually donate to the servers they play on and they don't feel much attraction to the current options especially with the vehicles that you buy being stuck to you. This could be resolved with the ability to simply sell the vehicle back in return for credits, even if you get back 10% less than you paid for it, or if the staff team did wish to allow sales to players for in game money, that would also fix it. This would also encourage more to donate to the server and would not negatively impact the economy due to how supply and demand works; not to mention the amount of servers that allow this which I have seen it only have a positive impact in the form of financial support. Again, I am not necessarily saying credit vehicles should be sell-able for in game currency, but there should be something they can do with unwanted vehicles.
  22. Date and time (provide timezone): 11:23 GMT - 29/03/2019 Character name: Kai Thale Issue/bug you are reporting: Vehicles teleporting when the server crashes Expected behavior: Cars should either not move Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Crashed server Vehicle license plate number*: KAI The server crashes, and everyone's vehicles teleport usually either to the parking lot, Mors or Xero24. Whilst I know these things can be awkward to fix especially as it happens when the server crashes, it would be great if it could be. The amount of times I have had my vehicle, and the countless items including guns and so on stolen just because the server crashes is very irritating.
  23. Are you aware that the AU ping to US and EU only has a difference of around 30-40 on average? Once your ping is already above 300 it isn't worth moving everything around just for that. I am not sure that you are considering the work required to move all this to the US either. If the Australian community really needs a server that badly, then playing on an EU server would be worth it. Playing on a previous EU SAMP server with Aussie players proved that, and SAMP had a much bigger negative effect for where you are.
  24. Fishing can be a fun, relaxing and possibly an interruption free activity depending on where you want to fish, however generally it takes a fair amount of time for you to catch anything - and it is always the same result. This makes it a bit repetitive when it could be improved in my opinion. The following variations could be added to make things more interesting: Varied time periods, where occasionally you will get lucky and catch a fish sooner. This also prevents people just being AFK so much as it rewards you for being more attentive to the game. A different version of a fish (probably just a 'Large Fish' so that it doesn't conflict with the standard 'Fish' item). This would be rarer but worth more money. Gives a little excitement should you catch it. The possibility of catching two fish at a time. This should not be too common. The possibility of catching other things such as a radio, a ball or maybe even a rare chance of a pistol? Not too sure on this one but it would add more variation and interesting options. It does not have to be necessarily all good things, such as the ball - but should have the chance of a useful item. Feel free to recommend other options.
  25. When you say that the US shouldn't have to join EU servers because the English speakers are apparently all in the US and not here - you imply it. Otherwise, why would you want it moved? You want it moved because you want less ping.. come on now.
