Elias Holmes had worked previously at a few mechanic shops in his past, primarily the local tuner shop in San Francisco with his best friend from high school. Things were good until unfortunate circumstances arose, leaving Elias no choice but to leave his home and find his way to San Andreas, where he had to start a new journey.

Upon arriving in the city of Los Santos with nothing but his car, an Elegy Retro Custom, a few thousand dollars and the mind of a great mechanic, he drove around for a while getting a feel for the city, utntil he found himself at a place called Los Santos Customs. It was a large mechanic shop in the middle of the city. Though he noticed a lot of people looking for repairs but would rarely see mechanics ever on shift. Elias took this opportunity to apply and see what kinds of skills the fellow mechanics had and if he could pass on his knowledge. After a few months of working at LSC, he noticed most of the mechanics didn't know what they were doing. Whether it be a lack of knowledge when repairing the customers' vehicles, or just general laziness. From his point of view, they were doing a disservice to their customers.

After those months had passed, he left the company and began to scout potential locations to start his own mechanic shop, just like in San Francisco. This seemed to be a harder task than it set out to be, his initial thought being to look around freeway exits, which to his dismay, were none. After driving around disheartened, he noticed a worn-out, run-down old mechanic shop that looked to be deserted in the suburban neighborhood of Mirror Park. He pulled out his phone and called up a few friends he knew were avid car enthusiast. After a few phone calls and talks, Elias Holmes and Andrew Quinn would lay the foundation for Mirror Park Tuning

Ranks:

Shop Owner
The original founding members of the tuner shop that run the day-to-day operations. They continue to do the dirty work on the shop floor along with the other employees.

Management
Those at the shop that have gone above and beyond working on improving our daily operations. Continuously keeping up with the newest and greatest technology for all types of vehicles, management also oversees the rest of the team.

Supervisor
Mechanics who are wanting to go further in the company to help develop and train new members. They have proven themselves as extremely valuable assets to the shop and the family.

Lead Tuner
Employees who have shown they are capable of learning and working as a team, always looking to improve upon their skills to make Mirror Park Tuning the most respectable name in Los Santos.

Tuner
Trainees who have put in the hard work and are trusted to be working on most of the cars that roll into the shop. Though they might need to ask for assistance depending on the vehicle.

Trainee
Members of the community that are avid car fans that might not know everything there is but are willing to put in the time to become on of the best mechanics in the city.

Goals:

1) Obtain the proper business registration to become a fully recognized Tuner Shop.
2) Bring on members of the community that are willing to put in the work as car enthusiasts and mechanics to represent the Mirror Park Tuning Shop.
3) Build up Mirror Park Tuning to where it becomes a household name.
4) Host community events in the Mirror Park community to bring life to the area.

Locations:
Mirror Park, Los Santos

It was a cloudy and stormy morning when Elias woke up getting ready for the day. Just having paid off the entire Mirror Park Tuning property cost, he had a clear mind ready to go. While that entire process is in a story of its own. Today, it is about the business itself, Elias unaware of what's coming. Sliding his radio into his right ear he changed the frequency and said his good mornings. Quickly after, Lauren, a friend of the group asked if anyone from MPT was working. Elias quickly responded no, but he could be there if needed. With an excited voice, Lauren said there was a customer wanting an upgrade! Elias put on his shoes and drove as fast as he could to the shop. Upon driving up to the shop, he couldn't believe his eyes. Sitting in bay one was a Pegassi Tempesta. The piece of art was clean coast of blueish-purple, tinted windows and a set of high end rims. Elias went to introduce himself to then realize it was his friend Arthur. After the re-introduction, Elias had asked what sorts of modifications Arthur wanted. Arthur had come in to get a turbo added to his 5.2L V10 engine.

Pegassi Tempesta:
Drivetrain - AWD
Power to Front - 10%
Gears - 6
Weight - 3,135 lbs
LSB / Power Ratio - 4:4:1
Brake Bias - 45% to Front

Upon hearing this Elias slightly frowned, knowing that the shop didn't just have Tempesta parts laying around in storage, as these kinds of vehicles are one of a kind. Elias jumped over to the laptop in the shop and went to the suppliers website and looked up a custom built twin turbochargers. To his surprise, he could get one shipped to the LS Docks the next day.

Elias brought the news to Arthur and they agreed to do it next time they were both around. Elias got Arthurs number and told him to expect a text soon. In the meantime, Elias noticed the tires on the beast had been worn down from extensive use. Elias offered to replace them for free, as he had a set of performance tires in the back store room.

Once Elias finished replacing the wheels of the Tempesta, he wipes off his hands, walking over to Arthur and tells him he will see him tomorrow to install the turbo after he picks it up from the shipping docks.

A new day was upon Elias, waking up and checking his phone he noticed a notification from the local Los Santos Import Docks. He got dressed and made a pot of tea, grabbing his phone, and continued on with his morning. After stepping out of his apartment, he swiped up on his phone put in his PIN code, and opened the messenger app. Continuing down the elevator to the ground floor, he clicked on the notification and read it, seeing that the turbo he ordered had arrived at the docks.

Elias got out his trophy truck and began his morning drive down to the import docks on the south of Los Santos, upon arrival he went and searched for a dock worker. After a nice chat, the worker came over and got the crate that had the turbo inside of it. Elias was on his way back to the shop to offload the crate into the storage room, sending a text to Arthur saying his parts were here and we were ready to get going with the installation. A few hours pass until Arthur responds and says he is on his way with the Tempesta. Excited Elias got the parts out from the back storage room and moved them over to the lift. upon using his crowbar to carefully remove the wooden top of the crate, he unpacked and set up all his tools and parts to be as organized as possible. As Arthur arrived, Elias' palms were slightly sweaty considering this vehicle is worth millions, however, after taking a deep breath, he began to take off the back bumper and worked his magic, as he continued he moved with a fluid motion.

A few hours went by and Elias had almost finished installing the kit on the vehicle. Finish installing the new exhaust pipe to protect the wires and plastic of the bumper so it won't melt after use. Taking the bumper and placing it back on he bolted it back in place making sure it would be secure. He wipes off his hands after the job and cleans off his tools. Elias got in the driver's seat and turned the Tempesta on, listening to the roar of the engine made him grin from ear to ear. Elias drove the Tempesta on top of the Dyno and strapped it into place, turning it on he tested the power of the machine. After a few tests, he drove it off and went to find Arthur.

Elias called Arthur back and told him his vehicle was ready to be picked up. A few minutes later he arrived and was excited. Elias tossed him the keys and told him to start the beast up. He jumped in the driver's seat and started the vehicle up and Elias would see the smile on his face as he heard the engine roar up from a cold start. Arthur got out and they finished up the deal with a firm handshake and a quick chat. Arthur drove off with his Tempesta, ready to show it off to the world, at least for a few days, until his keys were removed.

Over the past few months, Elias went on a trip to Japan to meet with some old racing buddies. In search of clarity on the direction he wanted to take Mirror Park Tuning, he came back with a new idea of how to run the place. Once he returned he got right to work reaching out to all the fellow members and asking if they were still interested as Elias left without much notice.

Most of the members had moved on with their lives. Elias, hoping to have someone to grow with, ended up having no one. This is no one's fault but his own for his hiatus. He knew with every ounce that he needed to drop racing to grow MPT.

After a week of general housekeeping, Elias was in talks with Jose Dyer, known for his position within the Government and Baytview. Elias knew he would be a valuable asset to work with. With this new connection, Elias had his feeti planted in the ground and ready to start running. After not hearing back from the owner of Bayview for weeks, Jose assisted in getting a meeting set up with Tyrone. This would be the beginning of Mirror Park Tuning gathering the tools needed to get the place up and running at full speed.

Once the meeting with Tyrone was completed, the next step was to convince the commissioners. Despite their stance on not opening another mechanic shop within the city, this was Elias' one hope. Writing up a whole pitch to the commissioners to convince them to start something that has never happened before.

Mirror Park Tuning Website - Check it out here
Note: The website is IC, so do not apply or
anything without gaining the knowledge IC first.

Ever since the founding of Mirror Park Tuning, advertising has been a pain for Elias. Coming from very little money, forking over tens of thousands of dollars for advertising was not in his best interest. Instead, he used his small amount of programming knowledge to create MPT's first website. www.mirrorparktuning.com was brought to life. Now that the site was complted all he needed to do was advertise it in order to help grow his business. Elias hasty to get going pulled it up on the work laptop for everyone to see.

To Elias' knowledge, this is the first business within Lost Santos with their own website to advertise. Elias and the team advertised the site in order to draw applications. This also helped show off their pricing as well as a gallery of project cars that have been completed at Mirror Park Tuning. Anyone who was interested in a job was directed to the website.

MIRROR PARK TUNING

(ROUND TWO!)

With Elias being back from his travel abroad over the past year landing back in San Andreas just a few months ago. He had returned with a new drive to continue the legacy he once left with Mirror Park Tuning and everyone else who supported the journey of MPT. Reminiscing the past with all the good friends he made and employees he used to work with. After his unforgettable journey to Japan for the second time, Elias is ready to bring a whole lot more to the city with his love for automotive culture.

ddIWrFV.jpeg

From Tokyo's narrow streets to Hakone's winding roads, Elias reconnected with old racing buddies who shared his passion for speed and precision. He drowned himself in the art of his mechanical craft, learning new techniques from some of Japan's most skilled tuners. Taking in all of this to put his newfound craft stateside in San Andreas at MPT

Late nights in underground garages awe of the craftsmanship and early mornings at mountain passes living on the edge had reignited something that had long been dormant... a deep, unshakable love for the thrill that high-level vehicles can turn into with a little love and care. Mirror Park Tuning is going to be sure to embody that.

Ufj5pU1.png

Elias is ready to turn wrenches once again. Mirror Park Tuning is set to reopen its doors, and he promises to make it better than ever before. Whether you need a daily driver dialed in or are chasing the perfect setup for those windy roads. Mirror Park Tuning is here to make it happen.

This is more than just a shop reopening... it is a rebirth. If you've ever believed in the art of tuning, the thrill of the road, or the beauty of a machine running at its absolute best, then Mirror Park Tuning is where you belong.

The hiatus is over. The dream is alive. Mirror Park Tuning is back!

(Photo Gallery PT 1)

MPT came alive with a burst of energy, thanks to a visit from Elias' new friend Scottie. As Elias settled back into the groove of running the shop, he reached out to Scottie to have him check out the latest changes to the place. Scottie pulled up and was ecstatic to help Elias run with his dreams of getting the shop back and running. He thought the perfect way to do this would be to bring his impressive collection of cars, turning the shop's lot into an impromptu automotive showcase.

26TBNS4.jpeg

The lineup was nothing short of breathtaking, featuring everything from American Muscle, Japanese Racing machines, and European works of art. Inspired by the sight, Elias and Scottie decided to make the most of the moment and organize a photoshoot to highlight the cars and the freshly reopened shop.

Under the afternoon sun, the cars gleamed as they were carefully arranged in front of Mirror Park Tuning. Elias and Scottie share laughs at the sight while talking about their shared enjoyment of cars.

Later on, as they were moving the cars around for more photos, one of the citizens of Los Santos made a pit stop to take a gander at all these beautiful machines. At first, he was just curious how much the entire collection cost, but then Scottie had the idea to let him take any of them out for a test drive! He was super excited and picked out the Niobe. He cruised along taking it out for a test drive. When he returned he said he loved the car and was curious about the shop. Elias was eager to let him know about the shop. The potential customer would come back to enjoy the shop with his own vehicle once he got his cash up.

Having made a new friend and gotten some promotional pictures for the shop, Elias thought this was a great start to make MPT what it once was. This was a celebration of the car culture Elias had always dreamed of fostering at MPT. With Scottie's support and new faces discovering the shop, the future was already looking bright for Mirror Park Tuning.

(MPT Marketing Pt1 - Social Media Takeover)

dsFnyji.png

It has been over 3 years since the last time Elias posted anything on Life Invader. Mostly due to the fact the social media platform has struggled both as a company keeping its servers running, as well the platform gaining traction with citizens of the state. Over the past few years, the platform finally was able to become stable and more people started to visit the site and create accounts. Elias knew that LifeInvader had potential and a lot of businesses were already using this to advertise events. The first thing Elias did was post on the MPT page saying they are back and looking for people interested in working or getting their car tuned up after the winter season

RD8zaGf.png

Elias knew it would be a long time before the site would get any attention and have it translate into customers coming to the shop but it was a good place to start. Besides just posting on the MPT page, Elias had to reach out to other businesses. One of the biggest things he knew from his previous jobs at other mechanic shops is mechanics (and just people in general) LOVE a good-looking calendar to check out, whether it be nature, food, funny quotes, or places to visit. However, one type of calendar stood out from the rest when it came down to people who love cars. Car enthusiasts LOVE girls and cars, knowing this, Elias reached out to Amie Koal who is known for posting on social media to collaborate on a Cars/Girls calendar for the new year.

LWSI7Ea.png

With this calendar in the works, being able to post this outside his mechanic shop and put any important dates on it would be amazing. In addition, selling the calendar to other people interested would help get some funding going back into MPT for more paid advertising!

Elias' journey in improving the Mirror Park Tuning marketing plans will be slow but steady, trying to think outside the box to make it really stand out and attract new customers and employees alike. To be continued!

Cars & (FREE)Coffee

Mirror Park Tuning hosted a highly successful Cars & Coffee event, drawing a massive turnout of car enthusiasts from around the city. The atmosphere was lively as the gearheads gathered to showcase their vehicle, enjoy free coffee, and take part in an exciting Sultan raffle giveaway. There was a lot of hard work put into the event from Elias and Scottie!

Before the event, the number one thing Elias knew he needed to get was good advertising! While putting out multiple ads for graphic designers and posting on Life Invader, he was not getting anyone to respond to make his graphics. While taking a cab to Eclipse to snag one of his cars, he got a ride from @Lilymay who insisted that their old mutual coworker @KimTaek was the man to go to. Lily gave Elias his number and he reached out looking for graphics. Kim was happy to help and got him the poster within a few days for a good price! (That poster can be seen above!) He got it posted all around the city, one at the bank, one at Benny's, and one at MPT

6xMErkS.png

Now that Elias had the poster created, he needed to source the coffee from somewhere, but where exactly? Elias looked up on the business registry for the first coffee shop that he could find! That seemed to be Cool Beans LS!

GUO6JBW.gif

Elias was excited to see that he could find the contact info for a coffee shop! Elias reached out to both the owners and got a response but never heard anything past that in terms of getting them in time for the event. Running out of time to source enough coffee for 60+ cups, Elias remembered an old friend, Stela Carter! Everyone knows about Stela from her store Ocean Grocery! Elias shot her a text and got a quick response back!

UbJfok6.png

With that Elias stopped by Ocean Groceries to get 69 cups of coffee from Stela and loaded in the back of his Baller to transport back to MPT to store until the event. The transaction went quickly and Elias was off to the race. Poster were completed and hung up around the city, coffees obtained, and ADs are being ran by Weazel. Now he just had to wait for the event.

BcyfrdE.png

The day is finally here and Scottie and Elias are moving some of their personal collections, and the Raffle car over to the spot of the car show. Elias hangs one more poster up outside the parking lot and calls Weazel for the day of blip to put them on the map. Elias ends up unable to show up as he got locked out of his car all the way up in Sandy with a dead phone... Unable to communicate with anyone or tell Scottie where he had gone to. Scottie took over the event and made it work! The event lasted around an hour mostly everyone awaiting the raffle drawing. Scottie ran most of the raffle tickets. The big winner of the Sultan was Freddie Barr. Once Elias finally walked back to the city the event was over. Elias got the papers and gave Freddie the keys to his new car and asked him to take a photo of him with the winning!

1ysmYJW.jpeg

For being the first event, it went just about as well as you can hope for running a small crew. But nonetheless the event was a success and MPT is that much closer to being back on the map!

The Return

It’s been too long. You start to forget the things you should remember. And you can’t stop remembering the things you should forget.

For Chase, the tuning shop was the escape he needed. The sounds of the engine, the high pitched whistling coming from turbo's spooling up, the screeching of tires around the track, it’s what kept him sane. Mirror Park Tuning offered it all, and when it was taken away, there was a hole emptied out of his life. We’ve always had the drive, and the hope, that MPT would return… not anymore.

The hope turned into excitement as Chase looked at his phone to see a text from an old friend. Elias Holmes reached out, “MPT needs to come back, let’s turn this into the top mechanic shop this city has seen. I need someone who is committed and willing to help from the ground up for another go around.” Two words needed to be spoken back for Elias to know he had his partner in this endeavor: “I’m in.

"Boosting Business"

Mirror Park Tuning

The garage at Mirror Park Tuning had been buzzing with activity lately, but Elias had his eyes set on a personal project for a long while now. Having owned his Elegy Retro Custom for the past 5 years, he had done a good amount of work with it, but it just didn't feel right. More power, speed, and that signature spool with a blow-off valve sound that turned heads at red lights. After running his favorite track Re Burro, and having the same track time as the past several runs, he knew it was time for a change.

QQYlpRk.jpeg

After a long night in the shop tuning customer cars, Elias leaned against the workbench, scrolling through the performance parts catalog on his tablet. He knew what he needed, a new supercharger kit that would replace the old one he originally put in while working at Los Santos Customs. Not just any setup but a full forced-induction package. ready to rip through the street light filled pavement of Los Santos.

Quickly adding all of the parts to the cart, he fired off an order request to the business to ship them as soon as possible to the docks, knowing that sourcing high-performance parts meant dealing with import vendors and special shipments. Mirror Park Tuning had built solid relationships with suppliers, but high-end components like these didn't just sit on shelves.

LNbzLhc.png

A few days later, Elias got the email that the shipment had arrived at the docks, but there was a catch... some of the paperwork wasn't processed properly. He'd have to head down there himself, smooth things over, and make sure his parts didn't disappear.

fN5X1Gz.png

Elias will have to go later this week to deal with the paperwork mishap or talk to someone from the government to try to get this all cleared up so he can continue upgrading his Elegy to take it back to the street and show MPT is truly the tuner king of Los Santos!
