Livvy Posted January 31, 2021 Report Posted January 31, 2021 (edited) I would like to make a suggestion regarding vehicles without registration plates (such as the BF400) that PD should have to manually check if the vehicle belongs to a person, as it makes no sense that they would have all the information when there is no license plate to actually scan on the vehicle. (idk if this would be the right place to suggest this but its kinda relevent either way) Edited January 31, 2021 by Nexecuss 3
Xoza Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 -1 Realistically and legally, these vehicles would have plates. 'Plate Readers' exist in real life, and they are generally RPed as either existing or being a NFC type tag built into the vehicle (which also exist IRL). The only time officers can't identify plates on these vehicles, is when they visually identify the vehicle and don't have the MDC/scanner up. 'Not catching the plate' happens much more than you'd think.
FrankieP Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 +1 getting a plate from a vehicle without a plate seems like PG to me 1
Pegasus_ Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 -1 for the exact reason Xoza mentioned. The only vehicles in the game realistically without a plate would be bicycles.
Speed Racer Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 If this suggestion were to be implemented, then cops would have to start RPing that these vehicles aren't road legal and impounding them on-sight. You sure you want this?

You sure you want this? This. It would effectively turn drags and other license plate less bikes into scrapyard vehicles.

jason Posted February 11, 2021 Report Posted February 11, 2021 Per senior staff, all vehicles RPly have a rear license plate, regardless of whether or not the model of them shows one. Locked & archived.
