Law Enforcement animations

For me, the true key to immersion, is animations.

I love the animations that Eclipse RP already has, including the one that's used to equip a firearm and holster them. But, the server is missing something that i would love to see, and i believe that many other players would agree with me.

A separate animation for Law enforcement, specifically their pistols, for equipping and holstering their firearm. To see a sheriff, officer or corrections officer take their pistol from the holster on their side, rather than tucked in the back of their jacket would add an extra level of immersion for law enforcement entities.

In my opinion, the animation should take the same amount of time or at least extremely similar amount of time to the original one, as experienced criminals should rply be able to get their firearm just as fast as experienced law enforcement personnel. 

I've got no idea on how the programming works, but maybe it could be toggle-able so detectives could choose to use it or not. This does not need to be restricted to just law enforcement though, and could still work for anyone.

I think a better idea would be to add a new animation available for everyone.
 

As everyone has 2 pistol slots in their inventory, one is stored in a side holster and the other on your back. Maybe when pulling the gun from your back it would do the normal “pulling the gun from behind” animation, but when pulling the one from your side it would do a new “pulling the gun from the side” animation.

I agree with these. (Although this feature would likely be at the bottom of the to-do list as it is not all that imperative.

Yea now you mention the animation based on slot, that sounds perfect.

Not only does it allow two animations but also it makes it clear in the inventory where the pistol will go and that it'll be visible, so people don't get mistaken that its "Rply hidden" but rather visibly on their side or on their back.

why make it exclusive when everyone on server could do it?

animation can be depended on the gun slot of the weapon itself. 
if gun on side waist, take out gun on side

if gun on back, take out gun from the back.

I see no reason why we need to restrict animations to exclusively a faction.
