Arrta Posted November 27, 2020 Report Posted November 27, 2020 The following commands exist: /low - whisper /rlow - whisper on radio /deplow - whisper on inter departmental radio /melow - discreet /me /dolow - discreet /do So then, why would there not be a whisper on the phone option for non VOIP users? They need something like /plow or /phlow as it seems to be an oversight. 2 2 Quote
CaesarSeizure Posted November 27, 2020 Report Posted November 27, 2020 +1 could just allow the use of /low on phones without the need for extra commands. Quote
KimeyBear101 Posted November 28, 2020 Report Posted November 28, 2020 +1 I think this would be a good idea. If you can hear someone whispering on the radio, you would definitely be able to hear it on the phone! Quote
Ash Posted November 28, 2020 Report Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) +1 For calling the cops this would be amazing, you should have the ability to quietly snitch - Me, a professional snitch Edited November 28, 2020 by DrPathetic 1 Quote
Arrta Posted July 12, 2021 Author Report Posted July 12, 2021 I would like to bring this up again, as someone heard me call 911 when I was on the opposite side of the farm field at Paul's last night. it was at least 30 feet away and they still heard my call. Quote
Pazz Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 I don't see why there couldn't or shouldn't be a low text range for a phone, considering the range of "Whispering" through VOIP is arguably even less than that of /low. Quote
Yputi Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 I would love to see this added. /plow would make sense for me. In general I would love some slight adjustment maybe, since I personally use /low while on the phone so I can still "talk" to someone near me without having to talk over the phone. I would love some additional feature where I can also choose whether I talk to the phone or not while in an active phone call maybe. Quote

This is why I wanted a separate command. /low does not go over the radio, so why would it go over the phone? If you want to have a discussion with people near you, say trying to set someone up, why would you whisper it to the person on the other side? Quote
