Economy Revamp

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

In the Eclipse RP Economy, the money from freelance jobs comes out of thin air. This weighs down what could be an amazing economy. Think about how the work of a player profits the organization and the player themselves. We could begin by adjusting the prices and production of food items because the prices on water and food are out of the world.

We could continue this by:

  1. Implementing the effects of more workers, profits, demands, etc on freelance
  2. Implementing a stock market to balance this
  3. $$$

How about a price revamp? 400$ for a taco ain't gonna cut it

Work longer, you spend same amount of money in fuel but you earn more since you get more fish.

I think the fuel is fine but again, I dont im gonna pay 1k for a full tank.

Find a cheaper gas station, you can get full tank for $700-$800

So how would you suggest the economy be revamped, as right now there really isnt a suggestion here, other than "make things cheaper", and to that fuel is cheap, you get welfare every hour that will likely cover your fuel for more than the hour, food and drink is cheap if you find a store that is cheaper.

Everything else is not a necessity and honestly, just getting a job fixes those issues.

But, it's not just the price of things that is wrong. The value of money is inconsistent. You can easily compare the price of a taco to the price of a mobile phone, and then a mobile phone to a car. It just doesn't make sense
