Levi208 Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Quite simple this one, cars should slowly on their own decay if they are out of their garage or parking lot. This shouldn't happen at a fast rate by any means, but at enough of a rate that you'd need to get your main drive a tune-up once every couple days or so to simulate normal wear and tear. If possible this should sync with engine damage since right now the vast majority of people favour dumping the car into their garage or the parking lot than actually RPly trying to get it fixed.
JakeInnit_ Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Syncing car damage isnt ideal with the amount of desync car crashes that occur or when cars spawn in on top of each other
alexalex303 Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 The issue with forcing people to fix their cars another way, is that like @JakeInnit_ said, most of the vehicle damage your car takes is due to OOC reasons.
gyrhnr Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 I want them to add a KM/H counter and custom speedometer like in NFS. And maybe they can implement so that every 200 miles you would need to change oil ,if not your engine would break. 1

They are brand new each time theyre spawned, you would need a pool of job vehicles and keep track on each vehicle.
Copperhorse Posted October 2, 2019 Report Posted October 2, 2019 -1. The amount of time it takes for a car IRL to decay to the point of having to get serious work done is 3-5 years. By the time this would happen in game, we would've already gone to the mechanic for a popped tire or smoking engine. Don't think it's worth the time for the developer to create this their time would be better spent elsewhere.
