Greetings, my name is Emillia. I am brand new to any sort of game RP and really nervious about messing things up. Mainly commands and what I can/should and cant/shouldent do as well as how to even do- most things. So please be patient with me and my nervious self. Just as a heads up, I have a masculine voice, But please note I am a girl both in chracter and out. Also hard of hearing so I might ask you to repeat something sometimes. Yeah I'm a bit of a mess, Hopefully I can find a place here though

My character Is Evelyn Barclay, Dont let her fool you, She's always glad to make new aquientences

Hey Emilia!

Welcome! I think the most important thing to remember is to use /report 1 if you have any questions while you play. A staff member can then help you out!
New players will have a "New player" tag above them, so most people will know that they most likely need to be more patient or offer guidance to you. Don't be afraid to make mistakes!

  • For commands, you can find a list of these here: https://wiki.eclipse-rp.net/index.php?title=Commands_List
In general it might be fun to go over the ECRP Wiki to learn more about certain faction's, jobs, events, etc!
  • For things you can/can't do, I think the best I could recommend is to read over our rules page if you haven't already: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/57059-general-rules/
Just know that it's totally okay to mess certain things up. We always try to educate players, so as long as you try your best and don't deliberately do anything malicious there often isn't much to worry about!

Always ask for help when you are unsure about something through /report or through our Discord, which you can join using this invite link: https://discord.com/invite/y2gxAjg

Hope this helps and curious to see what your experience will be!

Hey Emillia how's it going..

Yeah it's very overwhelming at first that's for sure, however there are a lot of people I'm game who are very understanding. Anytime you are unsure or feel things are more too fast you can always do /b "I am new please go slower".

People here are very friendly and really enjoy engaging with new players.

Tale care and enjoy.

Hi and welcome!

This server adopts a "find out ic" style. to most things. BUT thats not to say you cant get OOC help while in game. if you find yourself in a situation where youre not sure whats expected of you (like say an arrest, or medical RP, or you just cant find the right anim) feel free to ask a quick question in game oocly by using /b.

for example "/b how do I put my hands up?"  and someone in the scenario will be more than happy to help you.

As for general roleplay. a good rule of thumb for beginners is to react to any given situation as you would IRL. find someone unconscious in the street? call an ambulance. dance party? grab a drink and break it down. someone offers to sell you drugs? well...that depends on your character and what direction you want to take it!

There are some essential rules you want to make sure you have a good understanding of, such as New life rule, Fear RP rule, Deathmatching rules. all of their definitions can be found on our rules page and are fairly straightforward. like i said, so long as you act as you would expect someone to do IRL, you wont be far off the requirements of the server.

Theres plenty of guides on the forums and you can /report 1 in game to ask a staff member a question.
