Quietthecutie Posted June 27, 2024 Report Posted June 27, 2024 I really dont think itll make a difference in terms of chases tbh... 95% of successful evades are not down to top speed, but down to handling. this is why cars like the Issi are so insanely good at it, they turn on a dime, brake and accelerate hard. the d10 is a demon on a straight line but the moment you show it a corner itll shit the bed unless you slow right down. Its a gimmick cruiser. looks cool and is fast. but not really an issue unless youre trying to evade on a freeway for some reason... 1 Quote

SD doesn't have it and even if they did it would be like it is now with the Jugs, only certain ranks can use them due to the nature of the vehicle. Its not like anybody can use it, hell even being a Master Deputy and in SED there's a lot of things vehicle wise I don't have access to. There have been SEVERAL and consistent instances where we chase cars we have no shot of keeping up with and no rank high enough or able to pull out something that could keep up with the multiple high performance cars in the city. There are what 400+ cars that criminals can use? I own several vehicles that could outpull most LEO vehicles. So when it breaks down to it why shouldn't it be allowed when there are multiple care that can hit that 22-230 mark pretty easy and quickly. Quote

Not everything gets added as a "buff/nerf". Sometimes is just about having fun and doing something different than the usual. In this case, the D10 really isn't that great and will be out performed by most other "meta" sports vehicles. And to address any concerns around its usage, it has restrictions on who can pull it out and its use cases, just like any other specialized law enforcement vehicle. Quote

Funny how there ain't no threads about that new Paragon that is one of the fastest cars in the game. There isn't really the same kind of energy on the other side of the fence. Now, I have absolutely no say what goes in or when it goes in. I wish that I did, but what I will say is that I wouldn't submit something that I felt was going to upset the balance because I care more about things being within the lines than I do about any particular side winning.
