@Aldarine I don't see as just a basic response meant to deter or shut somebody out. As I stated earlier and stated before most of the staff here are great and want to help its not the whole. While I am extremely frustrated by the situation as a whole not just getting banned on the discord. If this kind of simple conversation could happen instead of just jumping the gun, I could have easily vented the frustration to the staff member and come to a resolution that is fair on both accounts. Your correct @Aldarine , on it being mildly derailing the original post and yes I am venting out a little about the situation out of frustration, however its not just "My personal situation" almost every person that commented on this were timed out or banned at the same time by the same person including the poster. Which I apologize for It is frustrating beyond belief that staff and normal people can have those shit posting conversations and post memes about coping or getting good all while teasing with little time outs (I have witnessed this SO many times) but then on the same leaf if something that they don't like gets said they just timeout or ban I don't think that its transparency for timeout/bans just for the reasoning that is the issue, A lot of people want transparency with the staff when the act they way that they do, and when it is brought up not getting the stereotypical HR damage control response.

I understand and agree with most of it, perhaps this exact situation that everyone is upset about is specifically because we were all timed out/banned by the same person, who that person is also the one who handled the appeals. Even then, not giving a place for an actual conversation to happen instead of putting in a basic appeal only for it to be denied and archived before that person even sees it. "You may re-appeal no sooner than one (1) month from the date of this post, I suggest you show more remorse in your next appeal in order to return. Furthermore, any attempts at contacting staff relating to this appeal or any further instances of continued negative behavior may lead to this time being extended" 1. What am I to be "more remorseful" about? Sure ill apologize for going along with the entire channel, not actually saying the stuff (that others only got a timeout for) and take that timeout like a champ. But to fully ban is actual brain rot and a bruised ego. I'm not gonna gonna beg and plead and worship the ground that admin walks on just to get back into a discord channel. (which mind you has 5 YEARS of content, clips and memories). Not to mention all the trouble and setup to get all the roles and benefits attached. 2. So I have to wait a FULL MONTH to even talk about the ban again? and then to top if off again if not "remorseful" enough that exact same admin just denies it again and that's the end of it. That completely removes the ability to get a fair say or even have a conversation "Anymore attempts at contacting staff" basically just lets them force their opinion and not give anybody a chance to tell them they are wrong or honestly not being what a staff member should be People are upset because that is the status quo, Nobody can claim truthfully and faithfully that some members of staff has bias opinions toward players for a multitude of reasons and nothing is ever done, and if anybody speaks on it, its immediately seen as being toxic or disrespectful which leads for more bans/timeouts, Its not fair that an admin who crashed out/got upset/ for them to be the only one that is handling/influencing the situation To round it out, I also want to mention that in the 5 years I have been on this server, I have been timed out maybe 5 times and literally for 2 minutes, and that was just me and the staff goofing off. I have never gotten reported,punished for anything IC or OOC, literally spotless. So ill reiterate the fact that going to a full ban over something this insanely small is outrageous and shouldn't be okay

Not to mention, having two accounts on discord isn't against the rules, I'm actually kinda laughing at the fact that out of all of the troll/meme/arguments that were going on and the things that were said even those people got timeouts. A full ban is insane behavior

Timmayy I love you but I disagree. The same person timed out all of us and then denied our appeals almost immediately. No way to communicate just "Im right your wrong" It really seems like an ego stroke to be honest, I don't think admins who get their feelings hurt or abuse their privilege should be the ones to handle the unban in situations like this. Totally shut down. Makes me actually want to quit the server chief

I don't think the complaints were meant to derail this, just the discontent with the situation as we were almost all affected during the last big time out/ban session, you included. I think the points in your original post are valid. Multiple people were timed out and have issues with the reason/timing of it

+1 as well to this, I was banned for the incident last night, mind you I wasn't even discussing the active topic, just sending out updates on those who got timed out as they were getting timed out so quickly. Was it supposed to be funny? Yes. Was it? Yes. I was timed out, then I went on my other account (I have a sperate phone account as I cannot log into discord on my phone and I still like to see what's active in the community when I'm on vacation or away from my computer) and updated it with my name as the final nail to finish out the joke. I was then Banned on both of my accounts. From my research and communication with several people. It is not against the rules to have 2 accounts. (I have responded to admins, posted in channels for a LONG time with the other account so its not like I made a brand new account and joined the server I was also given no heads up or warning or for why/who issued the ban or timeout Overall this just feels unnecessary and targeted a time out? Sure Ill handle that, not to mention I now have to go back in and get all of my roles and channels established once unbanned. Were some people being harsh and a little idiotic? yes but again I stand by the fact that I said nothing of the sort to anybody.

+1 Feels like it shouldnt be too hard. as far as the K9 for policing, would it be possible to maybe create custom pet ped for K9 users? Maybe something along those lines if thats how it works

I think what is considered "fun" is open to interpretation That being said there have been several features that have had their use changed. I remember not to long ago it was considered NRP to take painkillers in a firefight. I don't think a concern has been raised due to a few reasons. The one that come to mind off top is Because of how its currently used its beneficial to everyone who uses it in that way, because a lot of people do use it whether it be crim or LEO or even civilian. But that just raises the mindset of "Well everyone uses it so I might as well too" even though I think its broken but that just my opinion.

I will take responsibility for that, I apologize that my wording made it seem out that way. While I understand what you mean, But just because everyone is able to get them doesn't make them any less broken imo. It feels like the mindset "Well its broken and I use it, but they can use it too so it should be okay. The point is the whole thing in general needs a rework

Yes that's true WITH RP, you are supposed to take the time to RP changing them out, which runs the risk/reward of you getting shot up because your stopping to do an action

That's the point, if you want to spark a blunt for bonus effects that's great...but I don't feel as it should be something that should be able to be used and then immediately flicked away, When you use pain killers in a fight it has a timer and even then if you over use it it has negative repercussions. That's all I'm saying is to have it be able to not be abused

I'm sure most people here will downvote this as a huge number of people do it but I have seen WAY to many clips and experienced it first hand several times, but the fact that you can use a blunt then just immediately flick it for a boost as an example is extremely broken. Its like using a stim kit or something, I don't think its very fair during a shoot out or altercation for you to be able to immediately use and get its effects. Much like drinking eating or something of that nature. Like Painkillers do

+1 I cant tell you how many bikes I've seen BLARING music as they pull up to a light. Maybe not bikes like the BF or the manchez as those are most dirt bikes, but I don't see why an Akuma/Drag etc. couldn't be outfitted for them

I don't see a problem with it as long as its controlled as most vehicles as an LEO are. SD doesn't have it and even if they did it would be like it is now with the Jugs, only certain ranks can use them due to the nature of the vehicle. Its not like anybody can use it, hell even being a Master Deputy and in SED there's a lot of things vehicle wise I don't have access to. There have been SEVERAL and consistent instances where we chase cars we have no shot of keeping up with and no rank high enough or able to pull out something that could keep up with the multiple high performance cars in the city. There are what 400+ cars that criminals can use? I own several vehicles that could outpull most LEO vehicles. So when it breaks down to it why shouldn't it be allowed when there are multiple care that can hit that 22-230 mark pretty easy and quickly.

Perhaps two different "downed" states? So if you injured somebody you'd drop like normal, then if they finished you, some sort of text came up, blubbering audio and foggy video. With the understanding that once your in the 2nd state, your pretty much unconscious and unable to respond with voip and only be able to /do your injuries and if that state is reached you basically have no idea what happened with the who what or why

There's a few things on here I'd like to comment on or suggest things. One of my "crims" Stelio as most of you know is mainly around to have some fun and generate interesting RP. So taking that into account, even though I know I'm fully guilty for something I like take things to court to see if some pleasant RP can be made. so the suggestion of throwing out petty cases doesn't sit with me well. Ive waited just like everyone else, hell my case finally got moved on after 7 months. As for my LEO there have been a few situations where I've been asked to provide bodycam from the incident which is totally cool and awesome! however I only save my recording for maybe 2 weeks until I don't need them or I've edited all I need to, so that makes it go to screenshots of /dos and stuff which is annoying. and as everyone else has stated its because its 5 months after the fact. I think a good solution to this would be a bench trial system of some sort. Meaning that after being arrested and before being processed at DOC (something like that you could tell DOC you want a trial. Following that DOC could reach out to JB/SD/PD to see if 1. There was an available judge and or attorney 2. If the arresting LEO is still on duty/online or those involved If both of those conditions were met a speed trial could happen. This would obviously need to me limited to things that are not huge felonies or something that would take more that 20 minutes or so ( I don't have a time frame in mind) to gather information on This would provide HUGE RP opportunities pretty much every facet of the process tbh, It would give both Lawyers and Prosecutors a bunch of RP and many more things to do as well as give LEOs and criminal more chances to RP in a different situation. Then if the charges are dropped, you walk out of the door a free person, if not you go back to DOC OR If the charges are dropped, your fine is reimbursed and record deleted. I feel like this would add MUCH more RP opportunities for pretty much everyone (weazel could report on them, random civilian RPers could come and watch. sky's the limit really. I could go into much more detail but this is just a rough outline. I don't think this is "Kangaroo Court" because if you use IRL logic a lot of things in the server do not apply, as stated above this is an RP server and I think that this would be a good way to stimulate it.

Maybe it would be possible to color coordinate them in some fashion?
