Freyster Posted February 26, 2024 Report Posted February 26, 2024 I believe burgershot should only give out salary if you actively are behind the counter and doing things, or maybe higher the cost for orders/lower the production time and let orders be the only valid way of payment, i do think burgershot needs improvements in itself, however i do see way to many people going afk or doing other things while not actively working at burgershot, leading to them earning 0,900$ after 30min of standing afk at every full hour ingame, which is insane. Bala Posted February 26, 2024 Report Posted February 26, 2024 There isn't enough work to support staying at the desk especially when stuff is always going on outside, so.. Add Server generated orders that are a dependable supply but earn you less than a player order, to keep people busy. The amount of server generated orders would scale based on the amount of people on duty. More workers = more orders. Add food litter spawns to the restaurant, that workers have to clean away. The server generated litter spawn would scale based on the amount of people on duty. More people = more litter Radius reduction on how far away from the counter you need to be to get paid. 1 Quote
PurplePlant Posted February 27, 2024 Report Posted February 27, 2024 +1 standing around is considered salary farming.. if the job doesn't provide enough "work" it should be generated as mentioned or pay should be a result of achievements such as making a meal, not just standing around. Quote

Quietthecutie Posted March 2, 2024 Report Posted March 2, 2024 Yeah going to burgershot and seeing like 12 people in uniform just standing afk is kinda...yeah, give them something to do. Quote
Requiem Posted March 4, 2024 Report Posted March 4, 2024 I agree with giving burgershot employees more tasks to do to incentivize work, but I don't think its really an issue as it is now. $900 for 30 minutes of work is nothing. You get the same if you are low income for free from the government already. The $900 they make is enough to pay for their food and water and not much else anyways. If someone wants to stand around for the $900, then let them. They could easily go do other things with low activity requirements, such as fishing and make a lot more. Quote
tigerpet15 Posted March 7, 2024 Report Posted March 7, 2024 I totally agree with the suggestion there is nothing to do in burger shot almost all the time. Id like to add another improvement: - getting tips from making burgers with the cooking script (I dont think you get any credit for it) Quote
aitorgn Posted July 10, 2024 Report Posted July 10, 2024 +1 totally agree with everything. We need more stuff to do at Burgershot, it's a cool place to meet people and also help new players, but most of the time you just stand there waiting for clients to show up. Depending on the number of employees you could even do random events like rush hour, a bus full of workers appeared.. Also give a bonus to the cooks, majority of people just wait, take all the products from storage and hold them. Quote

Ritchie Stones Posted February 23, 2025 Report Posted February 23, 2025 if you want even fewer people working at burger shot go ahead, its already dead so might as well bury it completely. the ONLY reason people found it an attractive job was because it was passive money, and then it blew up for some time, because many people where gathering in one spot, maybe make them make more money for being active on it. take the advice from someone who made at least 3 mil of burgershot alone, I came to very clear conclusions after many experiences Quote
CJORG Posted February 27, 2025 Report Posted February 27, 2025 People just AFKing and raking in cash isn't really in the spirit of the game. Tying the salary directly to actually working the counter or focusing on order fulfillment sounds like a much better way to reward active players and make the job more engaging. Quote

At the same time i understand why passive income is a thing. Burgershot can have easily 6 people working there at times and whilst you wanna incentivise people to fill the orders asap you dont want them fighting eachother to do it. Having the passive income ticking away chills people out alot more regarding this and again to be fair its a job that is only as busy as the customers rolling in. Quote
