THIS ^ Hostage banks got less and less because Leo's got tired and bored of the same shit every single time and became less and less cared about. Nothing discouraged me more then when I was in royals and did a hostage bank and the cops that showed up said "Not this shit again ugh". That right there discouraged us greatly into doing them for the sake of RP Also as @sNo0BbZz said too many times LEO is just not cooperative to the fullest extent, I have been apart of PERFECT bank robberies that just led to a loss because of not being able to lose police in the chase, but I have also been apart of banks where I was shot AS SOON as the hostage was even out of line of sight. Plus once again into the echo chamber of complaints, PRISON TIME IS TOO LONG, why risk 3+ hours in jail for "the sake of RP" we all know the state of DOC with its lack of script support is quite just not fun and avoiding at all costs is the goal. I made a suggestion awhile back about adjusting jail time SPECIFICALLY for hostage banks to make them more sought after and for people to WANT to do hostage banks more cause you get less time then getting caught doing the 15+ bf setup

I love this take I REALLY DO, but "Roleplay is about imagination" does not exist here as it needs to be supported from both sides, countless times I have tried to "Use my imagination" to only be hit with "Do you have alt rp perms" "if it cant be done scriptly it doesn't exist" I wish more if not everyone would allow Imagination and creativity to exist but as the server is in its current state like you said people rely on the script way too much.

I am just saying like I want to RP with cops more then just the standard rush RP to get me in DOC faster so I can get this time started. An OOC modifier to literally just be like I still get the illegal gun charge on my record but instead of 60minutes you deleted the 60 and gave me 30 cause I was being nice and compliant and not a dick. It incentives goodrp cause I am sure no one is happy when they get caught I have seen personally so many heated interactions cause of this exact thing, Crim gets caught has 4 hours to serve in jail, throws a fit, cop takes his sweet time getting him to DOC or clearing the scene because said criminal is being a dick, I just want more positive interactions instead of for every 1 good interaction there is 10000's.

In it's current state when you get caught for a crime, like felony evading and illegal firearm. You now have this TIME just sitting there ready to go down ONLY when some /prison 's you. Now that time will not change in the time it takes them to arrest you, search you, search your vehicle, read your rights, read you your charges, and now transport you to DOC, walk you in, Pat you down again, take your phone, get you a jumpsuit, and have you change, THEN /prison you I know I am not the only one who has been caught with friends and had to sit on scene for well over liked 30 minutes while PD or SD take their sweet time doing something. And also the way it works builds this mindset of get me to DOC as fast as possible so I get this time served which the easiest way is to just plead guilty and do not talk with officers and just GO. Now I wanna RP with cops when I get caught and shit and maybe do a little foot pursuit I KNOW I will not escape from, but it would be funny and fun, but what deters me from it is that my time WILL NEVER CHANGE and it will always be the say 2 hours until I am /prison 'd, I want to suggest the ability for cops to freely change the time, just type in instead of 30minutes they say "hmm well he was fun to interact with lets do 20" still the same charge just a little less time. Like I said earlier the fastest way to just get your time served is to shut up and plead guilty. There is no reason to RP with the police further unless you want to delay your time getting served. Essentially a small Incentive to RP with cops even when caught. Cause like I said all your doing in its current form is delaying your time being served as it sits at this perma number till /prison'd

Just a small "Safe" RP interaction with LEO's without it always being hostile between Crims and Cops regarding fines, jail time, etc..... and it wouldn't be paying the cop persay it would be RP'd as like signing an invoice saying you paid the fine and goes directly to the "MDC" or the Tablet thingy. Or even straight to PD treasury I do not mind either for me its not for convenience, I just want to a reason to interact with Cops without it being something random or Illegal

I had no idea it was like that, I used to always ask if i had fines and if i did could i pay them and they said yah and always did RP as for me to sign something and pay the ticket, damn I had no idea it was just a range thing Yah if it could be like a /acceptoffer type beat like at weazel or a mechanic and the amount was your fine that could be dope

I remember when I first joined the server I had no idea about the /pay blip at MRPD and LSSD for the longest time I only thought you could pay your tickets through having to interact with an officer in his cruiser to pay your fines. Now looking back this was a great little thing as it brought player to player interaction and I lowkey kind of miss it as now its just run to MRPD pay fine with the blip and leave. I do not know the reasoning behind why this was removed as when I returned after a LONG hiatus I was told this was removed. I can see looking at it how it could be a "nuisance" to LEO's, as people use to just swarm any officer at the pier and be like "CAN YOU CHECK IF I HAVE ANY FINES AND CAN I PAY THEM NOW IF I DO" , but I personally enjoyed this interaction cause it was one of the very few non hostile encounters Criminals had with LEO's.

yah exactly, I never really complained about certain vehicles such as BF400, BMX, trophy trucks that just do not have a plate AT ALL, I am ok with them being ran, but this ability to scan every plate in a proximity of the vehicle no matter which way the vehicle is facing or where it is, needs work. Some cars like the Paragon for example only has a back plate, so if say your hiding from police just back as close to a wall as possible to avoid getting your plate ran, and if a cop wants your plate they either wait for that paragon to leave or get out the car on foot and try to see it with first person or something. All I am saying is you do not need to rework the script just rework HOW it is used and monitor who is using it incorrectly and punish accordinally.

The use the radar has in its scripted form goes way above any normal function it would have IRL this clip was posted to fashion and it shows the officer getting the plates of 5 different vehicles just by being in the vicinity which realistically makes 0 sense as they are getting plates from vehicles from the front when the plates are in the back. Underground had its usual daily/weekly meeting to go over some things, good and bad, and to see what kind of shenanigans the group as a whole wanted to get into. After listening to music and dancing around the fire pit. Someone suggested doing another "Fight Club" like Underground had done previously, which was probably the most fun thing to do at the time because all banks had been hit previously and stores were too hot with cop presence. So everyone agreed, and after a few phone calls, people flocked to Undergrounds Headquarters, eager to fight friends/enemies. After everyone had arrived and settled, Underground Matriarch Melody formed a line and began assigning who would fight who. The bracket was gradually whittled down until there were only three "winners" left, so it was decided that the final fight for this week's fight club would be a three-way fight. After the countdown, the three people started fighting, and after a solid 1-2 minutes, one person stood tall above the rest: Slim Haze of THC. In celebration of winning all those fights to get to this point, he was jumped by EVERYONE in attendance. Laughs and jokes were exchanged among those present, and everyone had a good time. As at the end of the day, that is all that matters.

To say the least, Underground has had a difficult week. Constant harassment from rival orgs, internal conflict among members, and overall low morale within the group as of late, but all of that stress seems to vanish when the group discovers an empty Brickade near Arcadius loans. They knew they were going to take it right away, so they quickly pick locked and hotwired the massive LEO, and the ram was now in possession of Underground. They had no idea what to do with it now. Should they chop it? Should they give it to someone to chop? Or simply drive around and have fun. Obviously, the last option was the best option, so Underground piled it with as many people as possible, including four members on the sides, and began driving through the city blasting music with no care in the world. Unfortunately, a PD jugular had spotted them and radioed it in not long after picking up some members from general parking. They must have decided that it was time for an exciting chase, so they drove this massive truck up the highway and towards Sandy. Officer Couch grabbed his own Brickade and began attempting to pit Undergrounds about halfway up. During all of this, the Underground lost three members who were hanging on in the back. Injuring one but leaving two others standing and running around. One scout was left behind to arrest the members, but one detective got too close to an Underground member with a knife and was quickly stabbed and murdered; unfortunately, the member responsible was apprehended soon after as he attempted to rescue his injured friend, before another police vehicle arrived and apprehended him. During the chaos, one of the members was able to flee on foot and hide until the police left the area. Up the road, the remaining two Underground members, Koda and Melody, were doing everything they could to stay mobile, but it was difficult with zero tires and another giant ram attempting to take them off the road. One final ram somewhere near North Lab was enough to put away Undergrounds Brickade and end the fun adventure. Underground discussed how much fun they had and how it was a much needed mental break from recent events after they were all arrested, charged, and placed in prison. They got together and took some prison photos to remember today's adventure. ((Thank you to the PD/SD that took part in these shenanigans, and for being humble and good sports about it. +1 on all your ideas, I firmly believe that the city morgue in the city should be another drop location, as having only one spot and that being Paleto is SUCH a drive for only being able to store 5 bodies. I would like to see maybe a feature where if a body is just on the ground dead for so long, the coroner faction would receive a phone call type blip and be able to go get the body if no one calls.

I understood the concept to an extent and was all for it like "really cool people are kind of pushed to go to burgershot now". Then I heard they removed like all food from stores and I was like Hmmmmmm. Interesting change, but i like it as I now just Hunt or Fish for my food and carry a campfire around and I enjoy it like 10X more then before and I do not know why. Food spoiling faster in vending machines was another nerf I was like MEH. Personally I do not struggle with the food bar and I enjoy the change of essentially FIGHTING and WORKING for food now or just running to burgershot

ahhh fair enough, I recommend using the /toggletabbed command most players use this command and its kind of an OOC way of seeing that someone is afk, as it will show in red ((Tabbed Out)) above your head and people will most likely just ignore you. Just make sure you tab out before you get up to go do whatever.

THANK you for making a suggestion! Although I just do not agree with something like this being implemented. It is just so much easier to just go off duty and logout or just hit F1 and hit the reconnect button or the server name to be kicked out instantly. Goin afk in "public' is frowned upon cause what if someone or a co worker comes up to you and tries to RP with you not knowing your afk. -1

I am rather VERY confused, this is an RP server you should be able to do any and all RP you want as long as it is realistic and not powergaming. If someone wants to hide a .50 somewhere else in the car with detailed me's and do's they should be able to and once the cops removes him from the vehicle that person can keep the .50 on their person and allows the cops to search the vehicle while he OOCLY does not have the gun, and if cops find it he would OOCLY hand it over from his person. This idea of needing alt rp permission to hide a gun under a seat or something is WILD to me. Now as for the driver holding a gun towards the passenger if a random gets in, I could see this being valid if they are stationary and the person gets in the front passenger seat as if I had a gun on me and some stranger got in my car I would immediately at least get ready to upholster it if the person is a threat or just assumed it was their car cause they have the same model. THIS IS AN RP SERVER, i wish people would just RP. I personally am just not a fan of this constant "You got alt rp consent" "well its not scriptly supported so no" I personally am down for any RP if its done creatively and could be fun. RP is RP, him hiding a gun in the car gives the cops better RP as now they have to be more strict with their searches and get creative with it, instead of just hitting the I key and finding a gun or him just getting out and has one on his hip. Plus also giving him a chance to get away with it instead of them just finding it in the glovebox with a single button press. FROM MY OWN personal opinion this just looks like that cop being lazy and not wanting to do some thorough RP And yes its is VERY RARE that you even get a response to a Senior+ at least in my opinion, but I am NA and play at the WORST times for UK so I'm biased EVERYTHING is always my own personal opinion.

+1 its always been kind of weird to injure someone and then just stand there for a good 5-10 seconds waiting for the animation to end so you can "finish" them

So yesterday I was arrested and thrown in the back of a cruiser at LSC. Well my friends managed to distract the cops and one jumped in the cruiser and we got away scot free, no chase, nothing I was GONE. Well when we ditched the cruiser there was one problem my phone was still ON so I started to think of ideas on what to do and I realized there is literally NOTHING you can do to not get tracked on your phone unless you turn it off beforehand. Cannot turn it off while cuffed cause "your cuffed or in jail and can use your phone how?" prompt, another person cannot /takebattery (id) because your hands need to be /up or /handsup. the only thing you can do is random chance lockpick the cuffs and get them off to turn phone off. I was later caught cause of the tracking after MULTIPLE failed bobby pins, but I did some /me's and /do's before hand of smashing my phone in my pants pockets into a post and would have later RP bought a new phone from a store. Only issue is the cops on scene said I could not do that as it was not in the script, so instead of going /b or /report I just ate the RP and decided to make this post instead. so I guess I'm tryna start a conversation on this topic to get more ideas. Like can I RP smashing my phone while handcuffed to avoid the phone tracking? Can I RP my friend taking my phone from me? is their a better solution then just praying he gets the cuffs off in time by random chance lockpicking?

Me and @AnakinB just tested a hostage bank ICly and it went 100% perfect neither me nor Anakin are mad at all everything was done fine, sadly not a fan of the 4hours in jail I wish that could be worked on as now I am in jail for my entire playtime for the day. But demands were respected (No Spikes, Free Passage) and we just could not evade them, IM ALSO REALLY HAPPY the amount of time they took before shooting at us or our tires. All in all if ALL banks could go like this I would enjoy doing them for sure. This bank was done with 0 planning as we wanted to get it done ASAP and essentially test the policee on how they would react. So future banks we will plan out and make more fun for everyone.
