An exploit is wild, i played eclipse for a year + with a semi finished gta v story mode and could not access multiple scripts in the server that were meant to be available readily like for example the mine was not open to me that whole time my stats of my character did not move an inch like the ones you mentioned, running, sprinting, jumping etc so if you don't have the 100% completion offline save file it doesn't change in ecrp you can run for hours your stats don't improve, if it was an exploit the devs would not have fixed the stats in enhanced, the swimming part in the OP's post would maybe bring a change to the NRP rule of swimming if done right this could be major, imagine everyone's stats get reset and ways to improve stats in different fields are added, if you can swim that long without fatigue and or drowning (could be a feature) then GGs if the officer or enemy gang member did not make the effort to get into the same shape and cant keep up or swim as far, same with running, with a slight chance of spraining an ankle based on, as the OP said health and how you have taken care of yourself so on this i +1 so much potential

I get what you are saying but imagine all crims were smart calculated criminals and never got caught, what would police roleplay be? And you know very well what has been the situation with cops pd and SD lately imagine they caught no one because everyone played it smart how frustrated they would be then and how try hard they would get to actually catch someone currently its not roleplay with LEOs its interaction its scripted follow a known crim pull them over search them because you can find a gun pat down cuff doc no more lets humor him lets have fun with it lets investigate before we just search lets question him and see if he can worm his way out and if he goes hard woth his story lets give him the benefit of the doubt instead of the straight arrest and most times ragebait, trust me people will be less pissed of if there was actual roleplay involved it CAN be funfor both sides and still arrests happen

No i get you but you can only roleplay with other people, at the current moment all anybody does for the 5 hour sentences is afk or log out, on the odd chance you get that random running around and unexpectedly punch you "for your stamps" i understand the DOC UPDATE is coming but its been bad for a while and LEO players have been bored and with people in doc for 5 hours is one less player in the general world to make situations happen, if the update drops im sure there will be less complaints, (I think)

What is prison rp? Explain that to me in the current terms, afk for 5 hours or log our for a week? You are clearly not an active crim player that has recenctly gotten doc time

+1 unfortunately not everyone can afford the price they cost in the credits store but still grind in game and could afford one that way

Pd has done the same hence why i said not just once, the other times it was pd, i just went more in depth with the 1 SD interaction thats all , and since pd and SD now are basically one, sharing radio freq and all that in the city, it doesnt matter who i went in depth with 1 time was SD the other times were PD, I also started the reply with PD have been doing better and the traffic stops are all PD so..

I can honestly say that pd hae been better at alot of things, the two things that bother me however is that a traffic stop ALWAYS turns into a search and seizure, why can a traffic stop not be treated exactly as such, and the other thing is ,and not just once, go to my apt, for whatever reason whether i go stash something or died and go grab stuff (food, gps,radio etc) sometimes even go afk for a few to grab a snack or something, i come outside and there are 5+ SD officers waiting by my car, for what? Claiming they witnessed me go inside with a heavy weapon, like what????? And search me find nothing and leave i ask them what is the probable cause or reasonable suspicion and they claim im wearing an otf jacket and have a bag that i did not have when i went in, is any of that a crime? It becomes cringe and unfun when these things happen, camping an apt block where both legals and crims live waiting for anyone wearing gang clothing to search and probably raid them on the fact they went inside the apt, what if i logged out in there? Would i get raided as they "saw me run in with a heavy weapon"

+1 i repaired ALL my guns after thr first update yesterday and the grey bar was much higher then the condition it went to after i repaired them then after thr sevond update i tried and the guns were stuck at the previous values telling me the gun jas already been repaired to max some being 10% and the grey indication bar showed atleast 80-85 % repairable and my fellow faction members had guns in the same condition but didn't get around to repairing till after the second update and their gund repaired as intended,so i lost money on cleaning kits and on lost guns, recently acquired that looked healthy

This point of view no one on the server should have iv heatd it multiple times "you gave been running for too long or you have been evading for too long" yet just the other day i heard an LEO its boring no pursuits nothing, they hoping for someone to do something, so engaging in either a foot or vehicle pursuit is the rp YOU chose. Why cut it short when YOU have had enough. The longer the situation the longer you have something to do right?

I just came across this and its a great read even the follow up post is great, i do however, now feel that i have to bring something up that demotivated me, so much just a day or two ago it immediately made me log back out, im not trying to put this specific Leo role-player on blast so ill keep it generalized,it made me not want to log in again, but luckily there was a higher up LEO player and also staff on scene and they pm'ed me on discord after and it did help talking to them, but now reading this it seems some officers just ignore, this or try and rage bait us, under the words im doing my faction duties, logging in at legion and you get spawn camped by the mask patrol, we all know when logging out, you don't think, wait let me remove my mask because next time i log in ill get spawn camped at legion by the mask patrol, most times we go to legion park and into log out either due to being in a rush or very tired, and then logging in, literally just spawning in adjusting volume of your headset, chair etc, getting ready for a gaming session and you hear a cop whining about a mask then you move your mouse around and see multiple other afk player with masks, yet you that just spawn in is the immediate target you ignore him while doing what you were busy then he harasses the afk players, WE again know legion is a place people go and sometimes afk reading reports or gov site etc before fully logging out, I find it very discouraging that you log in not even 5 seconds in you get harassed about a mask then you tell the officer i just woke up chill,he insists, you unpark you vehicle to then just leave cause you are already annoyed, you get cuffed, yet other players are left alone in the same spot wearing a mask as-well, so you play along get your mask removed while cussing him out, then he leaves you unpark your car put your mask back on mid drive you realize you are annoyed and do not wanna play in that head space so you (wearing your mask again as a crim) park your car to log out, you tell someone you see how annoyed you are and are gonna log out and this same officer arrives you f1 close game to avoid another crash-out, he is rage-baiting at this point,The off duty high up officer and also staff tells you to log of before he comes back and, homey pings you in c0 channel asking if you are returning, to do what exactly? enforce mask patrol? very discouraging within the first 10 seconds to be in cuffs because you spawned with a mask, we need to remember this is a game and it take a minute or to to become, immersed, that is why some people log in and stand at legion a few minutes just getting ready for the role-play to come

I think people are more upset with the change because the cars as they were, was the selling point why alot of people even bought the credits to obtain said vehicles, i love ecrp and the people i have met with the player population decreasing recently i havevlost many friends, i stayed for the ones left, after todays update so many more have decided to just leave, each for their own reason and it breaks my heart because honestly eclipse is a server known for its people not just scripts, i give all love to the devs for trying from their side but i beg please listen to the mass population without the players eclipse would be an empty shell and it would be so sad please just listen with an open mind

I agree rather have higher pop, even if they spent half the time inside an interior at the moment its such low pop you see even less people then you would if they stayed in an interior, just the fact there you would know there are people logged in even if you didnt see them ALL the time

+1 to the OP and big ups to so many valid points in the replies, i have said this many a times in previous post, and ill say it again, iv been here a few years, im a consistant player i no life ecrp its my most played game in the last 5 years, other communities might have better scripts, but iv stayed in ecrp not because of the scripts/ dev aspect but because of the great community that comes with ecrp, recently though player base has declined and players have left and more keep leaving daily, not because of lack of scrupts but because of people, yes certain players made and make other people leave, not a single player has complained recently about scripts and then left, its been people that made people leave, EGO's, TOXICITY, POWERTRIP and just plain ATTITUDES deny it all we want reflect on the individuals that left and keep leaving, even full factions have voiced their concerns and felt ignored, GIRLIES and OFF GRID to be specific and it breaks my heart, that in a previous post it was stated about OFF GRID "if they left then they didnt belong here, yet in this thread it was stated that GIRLIES was a loss and is missed, i agree girlies are missed, but justbas much ALOT of us miss OFF GRID, im not attacking anyone just pointing out, what seems like bias to who is friends with who and in so many unnoticed scenarios people feel neglected and ignored, ECRP is a community based success and if the community is not longer happy no amount of dev only changes will bring back the masses, community comfortability and happiness is 90% of success in a roleplay server, scripts contribute 10% however there is definitely a need for improvement on dev side aswell, as also stated players that have been in the server for 6+ years often say that there is nothing wrong with crim, LEO balances, yet those same players have not logged into a crim character for 3 years and do not experience the recent experiences. I would say someone who has been on the server for a year but logs in everyday for hours has more experience, then someone who has been on the server for 5 years but logs in once every two weeks for an hour, on the ground time constitutes for join date, just my personal experience, recently logging in everyday you type /fmembers and if lucky you see 4 members active, ask why your faction of 25-30 people dont log in every single time its likely gonna be the same response, "I dont feel like logging in after a month, 2 mins in GND pulls you over, "step out of the vehicle ,pending investigation (like what? I have not even logged in for a month)" they find a gun in your car that, you even forgot about because you have not logged in for over a month, jail time log out for another month, rinse and repeat

+1 iv seen and suggested a backpack script before because realistically no one drops a bag and be stuck in that anim while someone just yonks it while you searching through it, great suggestion
