  1. Won't cap. If you aren't rich, you're beat. +1
  2. Agreed. Even for official factions the price is wild. Let alone the mark up on if you're not official. you're paying 30-50k per heavy sometimes. Crazy to think someone can do 8 straight hours of freelance work IC and buy 2 heavy weapons. That's a whole different discussion though.
  3. So, as a criminal faction. Are you allowed to use these RP opps pings even when the RP opportunity relates to potential conflict or may result in combat with another group or LEO faction? Over my years of playing I always assumed RP opps was strictly used for faction planned events only. But if it can be utilized as situations occur randomly I think that is definitely useful and helpful balancing overall.

    Cops 2 OP

yeah gotta agree with shwy here. just get better at killing someone who has 3 bars of HP in AP on them with a .50. That or try to make the fight fair by bringing out 80k in guns and armor just to lose that on top of your half a work day in jail Its a coin toss, except it isn’t, beating PD is less probable than winning your local lottery. however, if you lose. you’ll just have to take those 30k in fines, 4 hours of jail, and those heavies you lost on the chin if you do win they’ll just take more precautions next time! double the units involved and guns brought out to ensure you as the criminal aren’t running rampant in the streets. on an OOC level. shooting cops too soon in certain situations will get you DM. But on the flip side, they light you up too soon in a chase, well that’s IC make an IA that’s going to be certainly denied. If the miracle of it getting accepted does happen you’ll be compensated for your 4 hours in jail with about 10k which most of us can make in 30 minutes of hunting. Honestly i could careless about PDs strength i just think sitting 4 hours in a pixel box is the bigger issue. Overall we play this server still because of how fun it is when we aren’t in jail. If you as a criminal didn’t have to face a hour MINIMUM when going to jail it wouldn’t be so bad. but anytime i’m in police custody i calculate just how many hours ima spend in jail and what 2 movies ima watch on Netflix this time. End of the day, make the jail times more forgiving, that allows crims to be back on the streets often and giving everyone involved more RP. countless times has my faction had half us to to DOC and whoop the rest of us are logging off for the rest night cause the gangs gonna be in there for 4 hours. Just my take and prolly so many others, on everything but hey it’s only a large portion of the most important aspect of the server. All love.

    The Underground

So many great memories with this group all love to the Underground! LLUG
  7. Honestly think this could be considered MG on the same level of seeing someone's ID or hearing them over VoIP through a wall.
  8. yeah never met anyone addicted marijuana What negative or even positive affects would you want with smoking cigarettes? obviously IRL there's physical downsides to smoking and the trade off is mental/emotional relief for most people. smoking is mainly done to relieve stress or anxiety irl but there is no stress or anxiety IC so how exactly would that work? there's tons of questions and things that would need to be worked out which is why I don't think something like this could be added but you never know what can happen.
  9. Brain Storming Christopher and Harry sat down inside the meeting room inside their HQ discussing future plans and activities for the Brotherhood with their return to Bridge Street. They wanted to do something they couldn't do whilst in the shadows. Something that may bring them unwanted attention, but something that was going to make a difference. They had been brain storming for quite some time on what they wanted to do. They came to a decision they wanted to do a massive cash give away, except their means of getting the cash was going to be very unique. The next meeting where everyone was present Harry climbed on top of the lounge table and made the announcement. "Everyone get your bikes and get ready for some grocery shopping in Del Perro, Rockford Hills & Vinewood Hills." Grocery Shopping The Brotherhood gathered at Bridge Street. Harry spoke briefly and encouraged his family before starting their operation... A soft soft but menacing hum could be heard as 20+ bikes flew into the wealthy part of town, approaching the stores. A violent kick to the doors followed as their bells rung and the brotherhood flooded the store with weapons drawn "PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP, UNLOAD THE REGISTER INTO THE BAGS NOW!!!" One by one, The Brotherhood hit every single store in every wealthy district in town, yelling "FOR THE PEOPLE" as they exited each store with thousands of dollars packed into their bags. After every few stores, they met at multiple rendezvous points and threw the thousands into the back of a Kamacho hauling it to their warehouse for storage until they were ready to launder it. Laundering The Cash Jay Valentino whipped out his cell phone calling Christopher with a smirk on his face he asked. "Is our new guy at The Laundromat ready to receive our dirty clothes?" "Yes, meet me there in 20, Bring every load of laundry we got! This is our first deal and we are going to make a hell of a first impression." Christopher hung up his phone before calling his new connect confirming the laundry was capable of receiving such a massive volume of "Dirty Clothes." Christopher & Jay pulled up and hopped out greeting the new contact after removing their skull masks, then nodding before simply flinging open the back of the Kamacho, duffle bags almost bursting out from the trunk being so full. Christopher asked "So, this volume you can handle?" The contact laughed and said "You know who I work with don't you? Give me a few days and these bills will be as clean as bleach!" Christopher & Jay smirked and nodded before helping the men load the duffels into the back of the laundromat. Christopher slides his mask back onto his face "Ight, Jay lets go. We will see you boys in a few days. Call us if you need anything." Planning The Storm After a few days, the connect called Christopher and they returned to the laundry to collect their cleaned cash and pay the connect their cut... 10% of the totaled amount of $160,000. Christopher tossed the men 20,000 and said to keep the rest as a thanks from The Brotherhood. Immediately after leaving the laundry Christopher drove down to Weazel News to make an advert. "Massive Cash Giveaway This Sunday. 10pm It will be Raining Money at City Hall" Complications In The Plan The Brotherhood had planned on giving out the money from the stores at City Hall making it rain on government property. Making a statement and making a difference in the community. Unfortunately due to recent complications, The Government heard of the plans of the event and completely shut down all ads being ran and threatened arrests on anyone who was giving away money on government property. Christopher took a deep breath filled with anger. Yet again the rich and corrupt trying to impede something as simple a charitable event, giving away cash to those in need purely out of hate and disrespect for the cause. "Naw fuck these guys, They think they can stop us? They can't!" Christopher flew down to Weazel and demanded his ads be edited and re-worded correctly to follow the "Policy" also to change the location of where they were going to throw money. "Bridge Street will be the location. Let them press me for throwing money on my own property." The Perfect Storm Christopher sighed with relief as he parked his car onto Bridge Street just minutes before the start of the event. Things were starting to look up for the group as the advertisements were running and the street began to fill up immensely quick. Civilians, other organizations took part in grabbing the cash as it fell from the sky. The Brotherhood thought they were about to have a massive success with zero hitches, Then suddenly PD swarmed in mass, S.W.A.T. present all to ruin the charity event anyway they could, enforcing sidewalk laws for the first time ever in their life. Threatening arrests for people walking across the street or dancing on a sidewalk. It was apparent their business was not to protect nor serve, but to be a nuisance and hindrance to the charitable event held by The Brotherhood. After the PD cleared the scene the event continued on and a total of $150,000 fell from the sky onto Bridge Street for those who needed it. As the music quieted down and the money shower slowed eventually coming dry, everyone gathered for a photo with smiles on their faces. They knew a difference was being made.
  10. Cooling Off After returning to Los Santos and weeks of constant surveillance and unrelenting pursuit by the police, things had finally begun to quiet down. PD had started spending more of their time investigating other organizations and no longer saw the purpose in devoting resources to continue investigations on the Brotherhood. Organizations like Rooks and Royals were acting more carelessly then they ever had before, gaining the focus of police during the process. PD executed Multiple raids and busts during a short span of a few weeks. The Brotherhood saw this opportunity and took the time to rebuild, becoming stronger than ever before, all while in the shadows. The Cue Christopher sat inside the new building he claimed as his "Temporary HQ" anxiously thinking to himself "When will it be time?" Moments after that thought, a vibration from his pocket caught his attention. He shot up from his chair and busted out the door, tuning into his radio with urgency, he alerted everyone on the frequency come to HQ. "It's time." After everyone arrived, the news was announced "We are going home!" Every member smiled and looked at each other all with the same devilish look. They knew what the future was going to hold. Everyone loaded into cars and headed to Mirror Park, where they were filled in on future plans for the organization as well as familiarizing themselves with the newest operations. The Hearty Taco Needless to say, The Brotherhood lacked a business they owned and operated legally. During the downtime of BSB, Jay Valentino acquired the business property where they can do legal business along with giving back to those in need. Whilst opening other revenue streams for illegal activities upstairs covered by both of the legitimate operations downstairs. All operations were in the interests of BSB. As Christopher twisted the key on the door, it popped open and everyone filled into the building. Christopher said with a smirk on his face. "This is our new legal front, Tacos won't be the only thing we cook and sell out of here." Everyone smiled and laughed before exploring the building and familiarizing themselves with its layout. WELCOME HOME! The day had come, it was time for the return to Bridge Street. They hoped this would be the last time, they were here to stay. Christopher rolled the grill down to the bottom of the driveway. Other members moved the couch moved down onto the infamous sidewalk. As the seconds ticked away, the time for the block party came closer and closer with more and more guests arriving, greeting the Brotherhood with smiles on their faces. "Good to have you boys back." After some delicious food, drinks, plenty of laughs and memories shared, the group moved the crowd of guests towards the Hearty Taco to introduce the grand opening of the new front. Once the music quieted down, the grill shut down, and guests slowly departed one by one, eventually everyone cleared from the block leaving only the members of the Brotherhood. They gathered around and shared a moment, a feeling of success, but also the acknowledgement of their presence. Everyone shared the same thought. "We're here and nothing will ever get rid of us"
  11. Stock Down Bad After sitting down inside HQ and logging onto the computer Christopher opened the Stock spreadsheet of their warehouses noticing an alarmingly low amount of parts in stock. Christopher began typing frantically into the PC looking to see if there was a typo or mistake on the document but after investigating there was no mistake in what he had seen. Christopher needed to refill the warehouses with parts for their mechanics and workers around the city ASAP and he knew exactly who was gonna help fulfill the task. His newest recruits, JJ, Smokes & Jay Wess. Tasking The Prospects With Barker behind him Christopher called JJ and Jay into the HQ and sat down at the computer he told them all to gather around. He pulled up the spreadsheet and points out the low numbers of stock and says something must be done immediately and he is trusting them to get this job done. “I’ve created a document which locations will be our primary focus and what parts we are looking for. Follow the directions specifically and call me when you wrap up I will instruct you on where to bring the goods.” The prospects nodded and instantly got to work figuring out how they were going to acquire the parts as well as how they were going to transport them efficiently without too many trips back and forth. Waiting At The Warehouse Christopher sent the Prospects off and gave Barker a ride home before heading to the Warehouse located in the Railyard. Once he arrived he spoke to Pablo, the current warehouse worker on duty who would be helping intake the salvaged parts as they arrived. Christopher and Pablo got some dolly's lined up at the entrance to the warehouse in preparation of the delivery. Christopher then leaned back and lit a cigarette. After a long drag he took a deep breath and waited for the arrival of the prospects.
  12. Didn't they use to suspend them for 2/3 Days at a time before? Making the suspension only 12 hours would be kind of pointless and I think 1 day is pretty fair IMO. Also 9 out of 10 cops forget to even do the command to suspend so I don't see it as such a huge deal. If you don't wanna arrested don't drive or evade. IC consequences for IC decisions and risks.
  13. Seeing Poverty A cool breeze came off ocean as the waves clashed into the side of the docks Christopher sitting on the ledge looking over the horizon. He got into his vehicle and started to cruise around the city. The alarming amount of homeless people in need of help was something Christopher took heavy notice to. He brought it to Harrys attention and they both set on helping the homeless as well as making sure everyone of their members prioritized helping people in need over helping themselves and padding their pockets. Finding a Supplier Harry was the one who was going to find a supplier for the food and was going to plan how it would be distributed. He knew exactly who he needed to call REDACTED a contract was made with the individual to buy a bulk some of Tacos for a great deal all for the cause of helping the homeless. Whilst Christopher was setting up an area to house the people in need. He looked over the eastern side of the city as that's where he was comfortable. Christopher easily found a place where he was going to start a RV camp along with a building to store and distribute food. So Christopher began working on acquiring RV's to put into the camp and begin the start of the camp. Setting Up The Taco Joint Jay Valentino has owned the Hearty Taco for quite some time and this was the perfect time to put it to use. Future use was the plan for the taco joint until the construction was full finished and all business licensing was completed and the establishment was ready to be fully functional. Until then the Brotherhood would send out their taco trucks and distribute tacos out to the people of Los Santos Mobile Distribution The day came for the Brotherhood to do their thing. Harry tasked every member in town to give at least 5 different people a taco and feed them for the day. Everyone spread out and gave tacos to countless people throughout the city feeding hundreds of people in need and making the difference for the those in need to not give up and keep pushing. After giving out tacos the group reconvened and all spoke about the good they just did. Smiles grew across the faces of all the members in the brotherhood and they all felt they had achieved something great and looked forward to more.
  14. Fun RP looking forward to the future
  15. +1 I feel like faction chat is extremely useful for the ability to communicate with your entire faction OOCly no matter where they are on the map and also cut the amount of /b usage. Whether its to inform members of rules, paused RP, etc. It seems like something extremely useful for every faction to have and could better not just a factions RP but the entirety of RP on the server. That being said I do not think that every unofficial faction should have access to fchat as it can easily be abused for MG purposes and such. But I think factions who have guides and get approval from their Faction Services team could and should earn the ability to have faction chat as its undeniably very very useful to have and can improve the quality of your faction tremendously.
  16. I could agree from an IC level that CrimRP may not be doing the best right now but it definitely is getting more promising. I can honestly say on a OOC level the amount of screaming of "Save POV" in /b and Petty forum reports has drastically dropped since Zetas WCA days and even after that Which In my personal opinion has led the CrimRP side of the server to be extremely less toxic then it used to be especially as of late. Now in regards to back-up rules I think the rule can hinder RP between allies but I do think it helps your faction be its own independent thing, as it should be. I experienced LFM & Azteca's joint freqs when I was in LNF, a 15 man gang and fighting someone on a 40 man freq is literally impossible and makes you want to quit the server. If your faction is fighting another faction it should be dealt with Faction versus Faction NOT Faction + 2/3 other factions versus Faction. Just my view on the whole thing.
  17. Storming Bridge Street. It was a quiet Friday night on Bridge Street. Everyone had gone to sleep just after finishing setting up Christmas decorations for the year… Christopher felt pure joy for the first time in what felt like forever. Just as this feeling faded, Christopher suddenly got a new cold feeling shooting down his spine as he heard a familiar sound; sirens approaching Bridge Street. The ring of the sound in the crisp air was traumatizing. 10 plus cruisers bent the corner flying down the street and into Christopher's front lawn. Christopher turned around as fast as he could and dipped into his house, slamming the door and locking it behind him. It would only be a matter of seconds before his door was rammed down and the feds would be raiding his home. He scrambled, hiding valuables and grabbing a bag full of his most precious items and ran out the back door and vaulted the back wall as the police yelled after him with their carbines drawn “PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP AND DROP TO YOUR KNEES NOW!” Christopher frantically grabbed his radio yelling onto the frequency “I NEED A PICK UP ONE BLOCK WEST OF BRIDGE NOW! POLICE ARE RAIDING OUR BLOCK!” Ty Shipley who happened to be around the corner responded almost immediately to Christophers' call for help and rounded the corner on his BF400 picking up Christopher “Get us somewhere safe now!” “On it!” Ty said, on the way to the sewer system Christopher's phone rang. Christopher answered and heard something he had never heard before, panic in Harry's voice. “Get away from Bridge NOW. PD is coming for you and the entirety of BSB. We just got hit by the biggest RICO case of the decade.” Christopher took a deep breath and let out a light laugh. “Harry, it's fucked, I just had 10 carbines pointed at me and barely made it away. The PD was ready to breach every door on that block. All our stashes and assets will be seized. I’m gonna lay low for a few hours and try to contact everyone to see who is safe.” Christopher hung up and called his family. Most phones ringing on and on until a sudden beep notified him he had reached their voicemail. A tear rolled down his face as he took deep breaths, knowing everyone he loved and cared for most would most likely be facing life in prison. After the last phone call ended in a voicemail sound Christopher's phone buzzed, “Message from Harry: Get out of town now and don't contact anyone else until I say so. Lay low… they are everywhere, and they are watching.” So with that text, Christopher began his escape plan booking his ticket home under a fake name and identity and giving himself a bootleg makeover in the sewer, using his knife he cut off his iconic green dreads tossing them into the sewer drain. He left the sewer and headed to the airport and found himself on the plane the same night. As his flight took off Christopher looked out his window, tears uncontrollably flying down his face thinking of his family thinking to himself this will certainly not be the end of their story. Time Spent Back Home. Christopher landed at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago early Saturday morning. The crisp, cold, chilling, Chicago air biting his face as he stepped outside. These temperatures he felt at home were something else compared to Los Santos. He called for a Taxi and hopped in, giving the address to the driver and within 30 minutes they reached the house. Christopher’s mother was sitting outside waiting for his arrival back home. The widest smile he has ever seen crossed his mother’s face as he stepped out of the taxi. A warm welcome followed by a hug and the feeling of being home was something incomparable to anything else. He stepped into his old home, the warmth of the home and the smell of his mother’s cooking overwhelmed Christopher with joy and comfort as he sat down and sank into the sofa turning on the TV. The sight he had seen truly broke his heart as he was witnessing all of his best friends and people he considered family getting cuffed and thrown into the back of cop cars. The titles that ran across the screen gave Christopher even more of a chill in his spine, “Members of Notorious Crime Syndicate potentially facing life in jail on a multitude of charges!” “PD CELEBRATES BIGGEST BUST OF THE DECADE!” Christopher couldn’t bear to stand by and watch all this unfold. Once able to, he would return to Los Santos and fight the federal cases against his organization. He was determined to free his family. To Be Continued…
