After consulting with multiple labels and production companies MKR decided that it would be in their best interest to stay as an unsigned group, so that they could freely create songs/albums at their own pace. Winter time was back, and Don felt empty. All he’s been doing was working, and he felt that he didn’t have anything to occupy his time when he wasn’t on shift. He remembered Asbo’s Jester Classic project and began to reminisce on his first project, his 190z, and made the decision to start a new project, his second winter project. Don headed to Burnout's garage and began his search. Once he found the vehicle he wanted, he contacted the seller to organize a meet up to see the car. After speaking on the phone with the seller, he called Asbo and let him know what his plan was and invited him to join him in checking out the car. Asbo agreed, and Don picked him up from Weazel News HQ and headed to the Scrapyard. Once they arrived, they met with Jake, the vehicle seller. Once they introduced each other, Don started to inspect the car and see what all needed work. After checking everything, Don decided to purchase the car. Jake and Don sorted out the papers and Don prepared to call a flatbed to get the car taken back to the Burnout garage. (Part 2 soon:tm:)

Hello, After discussion in an admin staff meeting, it was decided to create a new section under advertisements called "Other". After speaking about it, and reviewing all points raised in this suggestion and points made by other staff members, it was decided that instead of creating multiple new sections, the "Other" section would be made to fit the idea from this suggestion. The new section allows different types of businesses to advertise events and other small things (services, deals, etc) in an In-Character way. We have also removed the "Marketplace" section as most things that are being sold have a section that is appropriate to the item(s) being sold. Please refer to the new section here. To add, what @Purely said is correct, options do exist to make pages on a 3rd party program (ideally google sites) that can be brought to Senior Staff for possible approval. Below is a list of fixes for common issues that can happen when attempting to connect or set up RAGE:MP. 1, "ERROR: Your game version is not supported by RAGE Multiplayer" If you have downloaded a pirated version of the game, you cannot use RAGE Multiplayer If you have purchased a copy of Grand Theft Auto V, go to your GTA V folder and delete 'GTA5.exe' and then run 'PlayGTA5.exe' and let the game run. After that exit and try to run RAGE:MP again. 2. "Clientside packages checksums mismatch! Trying again..." Error Delete your 'client_resources' folder located inside your RAGE:MP folder and try again Path to find folder: RageMP -> client_resources 3. "Error: Master list is not responding" Master list is down, you can still use 'Direct Connect' to connect to your server. To 'Direct Connect' find the down arrow symbol in the top right and click it, then put in the information listed below IP: play.eclipse-rp.net Port: 22005 4. After clicking on a server to join, GTA V will open a black screen and then close This will usually happen when there's a program on your computer causing RAGE:MP to crash (programs that try inject into the RAGE:MP process) which for the most part is overlays(things that overlay over your game like Discord overlay). To quickly find out, close all background processes you possibly can on your PC and try to run RAGE:MP again, if it works, it means you had a program running that's causing RAGE:MP to crash. A list of common programs will be listed at the bottom of the page. 5. "ERROR: Failed to retrieve the install directory" When setting up RAGE:MP, you haven't told where your GTA V game is, click 'Ok' and select the path where your GTA V game is located. You can find this by opening the rage launcher, clicking on the settings button which can be found next to the direct connect symbol. Once that is done, scroll down until you see "Game Location" and set the path to where GTA is located in your files. 6. "RAGE:MP freezes after I click on a server to join!" RAGE:MP cannot launch GTA V, this is commonly because your game has pending updates to download and therefore it cannot run. Go attempt to run GTA V in single player and see what happens. Once you're able to get into single player, try to use RAGE:MP again. 7. "RAGE:MP opens into Single Player when I launch it!" Make sure RAGE:MP is running with administration privileges, also ensure Windows is up-to-date. 8. "After launching RAGE Multiplayer nothing happens (the client does not open)." It is sometimes an issue with your connection being blocked from the RAGE:MP server, try using a VPN and relaunch RAGE:MP once you've connected to your VPN Antivirus software can also be an issue by blocking your connection or deleting RAGE:MP files causing it to no longer launch properly. 9. "My mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen and cannot move!" Open up single player Grand Theft Auto V and go to your Settings and change your "Mouse Input Method" to "Raw Input" 10. "FATAL ERROR: .NET Host did not initialize correctly! Please reinstall RAGE Multiplayer and ensure its files consistency." Ensure Windows is up to date, update your .NET framework to the latest version and then download the repair tool and repair it. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 After repairing, restart your computer. 11. "ERROR: Please launch RAGE Multiplayer as admin" Close Steam/Rockstar Launcher and let RAGE:MP run it. Typically you can do this by opening your task manager and ending all tasks related to the launcher you use for GTA, and RAGE:MP. 12. "RAGE:MP is running as a background process!" Old versions of Windows 10 have been known to cause this, ensure your Windows 10 is up to date. 13. "FPS drops down to 1FPS when i move my mouse to look around!" Preinstalled software such as Nahimic (E.g. MSI Nahimic) can cause this, this software can come preinstalled on brand new laptops so please check for any related manufacturing software and ending the process inside task manager. 14. "RAGE:MP opens to a black screen and sits on that screen infinitely loading!" Move your RAGE:MP into a different drive, may also potentially need to reinstall Rockstar Launcher. 15. "RAGE:MP crashes after I join the server!" Try disabling any software that might be considered abusive such as cheats, Sandboxie, VMs. If your issue persists or it isn't listed above, please try the below options; Reinstall RAGE Multiplayer (Delete everything inside your RAGE:MP folder except 'updater.exe' and run that file). Do not have RAGE:MP installed inside your GTA V folder. Make sure no modifications are installed, even if you previously installed mods and tried using software to 'remove' these mods, some files can still be modified and cause RAGE:MP to still crash. Reinstall GTA V or verify your game files Run RAGE:MP with Administrator rights Make sure you have the required redistributes installed: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 Have RAGE:MP and GTA V on the same drive (E.g. C:/ drive) Have RAGE:MP and GTA V installed on different drive (E.g. GTA V on C:/ and RAGE:MP on D:/) Disable overlays or conflicting programs (See list at the bottom of the post) Make sure you have an existing single player save file (If you start single player and it starts the intro missions, this means you don't have one) Disable your antivirus/firewall or add an exception(A couple of antivirus software will STILL run even if you 'disable' it so you may have to temporarily uninstall to check) Update Windows 10 to the latest version Connect to a VPN and launch RAGE:MP and connect to your server through the VPN. Disable Cloud Save inside the Rockstar Games Launcher 16. If you’re running GTA at higher than 187 FPS you may run into issues. To resolve this, simply go into your in-game settings and enable v-sync to fix this 17. "ERROR: Could not access game process. Shutdown Steam/RGS/EGS and try again." Completely disable your antivirus/antimalware software and make sure no background processes are running. 18. "Windows Defender detects RAGE:MP files as malware and removes the file, what do I do?" If you've downloaded RAGE Multiplayer client from the official website, there shouldn't be any reason to worry as it's just a False Positive detection due to fresh files. You could just whitelist the exe manually or anonymously submit it as a user for false positive submission at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission (usually takes up to 3 hours for Microsoft to review and remove the FP). 19. Conflicting programs or overlays that MAY cause RAGE:MP to crash (Please note, this isn't ALL the possible programs, do not use this as list of the 'ONLY' programs that can crash RAGE:MP as RAGE Developers are always finding new ones or software can update to add their own): Discord Overlay Steam Overlay Nvidia Shadowplay OBS Software Overwolf Antivirus Software Streaming Software MSI Afterburner MSI Nahimic ASUS Sonic Radar 3 Razer Cortex AI Suite 3 GameFirst V RivaTuner Adguard Microsoft Gaming Overlay (Also called 'Xbox Game Bar') Sandboxie Citrix Workspace Abusive software (E.g. cheats) (This is a list taken from the RAGE:MP official Discord server. "15:38" A bomb threat was made at City Hall, and SWAT/EOD were called in to assist. Shortly after an exterior device went off, EOD entered the building to search for more devices. EOD found another device and got to work. Once the device was taken by Officers Sanchez and Papadakis, Lieutenant Gareth Longford did one final sweep of City Hall with Don's K9 partner Gans. No other devices were found, and the deployment was considered concluded. A short press conference was held by OJ Wood, Alex Schill, and Don Mozzarella. (Shoutout @Timmaayy and @Lewis for making this happen. Much love <3)

The Burnouts had a couple of cars that needed their winter tires put on. Don and Asbo decided to take the initiative. (Don & Asbo shopping for tools at UTool.) In-between getting to the Burnout Garage, Hazel & Asbo decorated the lot. (Post about this soonTM - Link will be edited in later!) After doing all of that, they headed to the garage and got to work. (Don changing his first tire.) Asbo & Jamie assisted Don with his other tires. (Jamie changing the final tire on the Novak.) (Don & Bruce's cars on their jacks.) After finishing Don's Novak, Don assisted Bruce with his Clique, teaching him how to change out a wheel. (Bruce changing out his wheels.) After putting on each wheel, Don & Bruce found an air issue whilst Don was making sure everything was done correctly. (Don checking the air pressure on each wheel and filling them up.) Once Bruce's car was done, they said their goodbyes, but decided to grab a bite as a group first. (Don, Bruce, and Asbo talking about getting food.) They headed to Burnout Bodega to get some sandwiches after a long evening of changing out wheels. (Don, Bruce, and Asbo eating and drinking at Burnout Bodega.)

Hello, Someone want to create a company that competes with Weazel. Currently, they have no place to post their newspaper that can be viewed by the public. This does not fall into any category under the IC business section. Although I understand the sentiment, it's not uncommon for smaller journalists to use other established news agencies to advertise their own content. However, if said player created a faction, they would be able to create a post in this section about the business, and would be able to post updates that they do in there. I will bring up, and see the possibility of there being a new section called "Content" (name will be worked out) in the advertisements section for things such as stories or other misc pieces of content that may be made by different types of people (fliers, free lance news reports, home made TV shows, etc) that can be posted there and doesn't really fall under advertisements. I will bring this up in the next staff meeting. Someone wants to post about their company, give information on it such as the logo, motto of the company, basic information on where to find it, what it does, etc. Please refer to the Player Ran Businesses section. Someone wants to post about their non-profit, events that it holds, ways to get involved, volunteer opportunities This would be possible in the "Events" Section of the advertisements section, additionally, if someone created a non-profit organization, they have the option to create a player faction thread or a player ran business thread to display any information relevant to the faction/group that they would like to show. Any events they would host can be posted in the "Events" section in the advertisements area with contact information that maybe be found useful (as it's an IC board). Alternatively, they can utilize Weazel News in-game. Kellie designs art. If there was a section where she could post about her business people could leave reviews, she could update customers on the status of her business, etc. etc. Refer to my "Content" comment under the first bullet point as this somewhat falls under it. The orphanage that Pierce Hardy and Melissa Hall applied for wouldn't be able to post in Advertisements... but if there was a business section/non-profit area, they could. Orphanages don't often advertise as is (as they normally network within the "industry" (hospitals, child services, etc)). Additionally, they (Madison & Pierce) do not do this publicly, so it would be niche to use them as an example (speaking as one of their 19 children). Alternatively, they can utilize Weazel News in-game. As I mentioned, when the next staff meeting happens I will bring up the possibility of adding a new section for "Content" in the ad section.

(By @Asbo & @Ranger) Burnout has a few traditions, but the most important one is their breast cancer awareness car meet, which has been a big success for the past two years, and this year it shouldn’t be different. Asbo wanted something that would attract a lot of people, and raffles usually tend to go a long way, therefore it was decided, after their very successful Jugular & 10F Raffle, that the next would be a Hakuchou Drag. Asbo spent a few days, posting adverts and scouring the marketplace to see, and finally he was able to score one for a decent price. It was modified to look clean, and with their signature breast cancer awareness color code, which Burnout also uses for most of their personal vehicles during October. Once all of the preparations were completed, the day came for the event. Asbo prepared the area by parking the prize Drag next to the raffle tents and tables, then got the ads running to let the city know that the event was beginning. As the ads went up, people began to arrive. As the parking lot filled up, small circles formed and people began to converse and speak about their rides with each other. Once everyone settled in, the raffle began. Asbo took signups for the raffle as Don and a couple other of the Burnouts went around and conversed with people telling them about it. After a while of selling the tickets, Asbo decided it was time to draw the name of the winner. The wheel was set up and spun and the winner was picked, Andrea Fallon! Once everything was said and done, the lot emptied out and everyone left the parking lot. This was the third annual event for breast cancer awareness that Burnout has done, and the third year consisting of us making an effort to get the color pink spread out around the community as best as possible to help spread the awareness. Year after year we like to try to get as many people involved with this as it really in a way brings people together in different ways. As I say, if you ask an entire room of people “Who knows someone who’s had breast cancer”, 90% of the room would raise their hands, so it’s truly touching to see people show support for those who were affected by breast cancer and show/spread the awareness in a community sense. Hello team, We already issue "petty report" warnings to players who have posted reports that are deemed "petty" whereas, multiple staff members are inquired on this to ensure that the report truly is "petty", and a buildup of said warnings can lead to further punishment and/or the severity of said "pettiness" may weigh in as well per report. In the next staff meeting I will bring up a reminder that petty report warnings can be issued, but in short, this is a process that already exists. And as always, if you believe a report was handled incorrectly, you may of course create a decision appeal for the report. Locked & Archived.
