I think this needs to be taken into consideration for both sides. People get it, you’re playing the game too, but what people get tilted at is LEOs die, they don’t lose guns, money, time, etc. after that situation is over they can get back on duty and get things back going like nothing happened, minus maybe some shame of dying which everyone shares, but with really not much downside. If more people on the LEO side saw this as more of a game and reality can be seen of it took this person a while to grind to get this, I see why they’re upset, if charges were stacked less, you know the 15-20 minute charges that get tossed in cause why not, (other than the dickheads who deserve it by opening their mouth.. sometimes me included) and people weren’t so petty about reporting every time they die, I really don’t think these threads would pop up so much, crim vs Leo shouldn’t be a battle of one side is better it should be how do we make it fun for each other, no? did I just tangent? Yes. Did it work, absolutely.

as much as i love and adore you i dont think people want to overpower cops. And i will say one thing, this is a video game, i am not saying criminals should come out on top every fight but with the amount of grinding that we are forced to do to afford one of those guns then to get forced to use it (or just go down with it and get arrested... 9/10 crims wouldnt) you could probably see why people are upset about it. I think (if you would be able to organize) a meeting between faction leaders/high command members of gangs and high command of LEOs plus head admins around to talk through some things that might be left in the dark or misconstued! Armor isnt the big thing that is hurting things tho - my Dms are always open if youd like to hear a rant LMAO

Ive been an advocate for AP changes for a very long time, and have had a few very informative changes that could prove to be nice. I think the biggest thing is yes, criminals will get AP rounds eventually and it will be broken, and all LEOs will use the heavier armor, but the modifier for health(not armor) will be a lot less. As someone who used to be SWAT and SED there are situations that they really should have armor, bank robberies, hostage situations, etc, they should be geared up and I am fully okay with that. I think its not that the armor needs to change I think that internal policies need to be adjusted to make it so LEOs cant roll around with very heavy armor and heavy weapons 24/7, as a lot of people who join these factions are joining because they are tired of fighting cops, you know the saying if you cat beat em, join em. +1 that I think 150 armor should be the MAX allowed only on special occations, -1 tho because you did get smoked with a .50 inside a store and you cant really complain when you put yourself into that situation

I understand trying to progress and find new things, but please give people the option to turn the actual effects down. You can barely see your health when youre downed, I haven't tested but im fairly sure it hurts FPS. Either let us turn it down or give us an option to turn it off. Please. One pump shotgun shot and my entire screen turns red/black is the most obnoxious thing ive ever played with.

sorry i never responded - I know that you do, I asked as a report 1 and got a "im not sure and nobody online right now knows" so I came to forums when I saw someone making a similar post - I feel like the 2 hours isnt right because there are times where im out of the car for 20 minutes and it despawns. Thats why I asked

And what is the timer on this, nobody seems to know

Also, just add more transparency with the despawn timer - when someone logs off the cars despawn after 2-3 hours, which is fine! let’s say I am offline and someone grabs my car, and they get out of it, what is the timer?? Nobody for sure knows and it’s upsetting if I log back on and my cars are scattered around the map!!

Hello! I along with a LOT of other people have been involved in this situation, you are stabilized, and you sit for 20 to 30 minutes, in some rare cases (like the one we just had tonight) an hour. Im gonna keep it straight, there needs to be a timer for after you are stabilized where you start losing health again. Im not saying it should be 2 minutes, but something like 10 minutes of being stabilized, you should start ticking health again. The counter argument of "You are looking for a way to die so you dont go to jail" is null and void here, it ruins an entire situation. This is a change that needs to happen for the betterment of the server. Thanks for your time reading!

It pisses me off that you got the short end for something THAT YOU DIDNT KNOW, how are you supposed to know something that you don’t know? It’s your responsibility to know what you join but is it your responsibility to read through the past messages of something you have no knowledge of??? I think that’s complete BS. Why was faction services not in this chat originally?? Seems like you’re getting the boot for something that wasn’t your doing, hopefully they are brought to their senses and see that you are one of the last people to knowingly break a rule. I will be on your side till the day I’m removed from this server, and even then I will still have your back. Chase and Mack, Gordon and Jordan, both will carry on a legacy. +1 - 10 tables would be a nice addition!! also why not bring back sealabs and north lab? Make sealabs available to cook LSD/Coke/Meth and make northlab the same as right lake and Braddocks with Crack tables - goes without saying having two labs where you can cook LSD and Coke, the main drugs of the server, makes it very repetitive. also as I mentioned in another post, the tables that are in the lab, at least make sure they work. A few tables on the island are bugged and don’t even work

If we do have public labs can we at least make all of the tables work? A couple of them at the island don’t work last time I checked

Playing devils advocate here - there is a 24 hour window for you to refund it... but I feel it would be nice to refund my sultanRS that I dont drive and get something newer like a buffalo or a neon. Most cars are $60-$100 tho so people shouldnt be able to just be able to do it a bunch of times, maybe one time per account.

Id like to just say thank you to @Victor Einhart - @Pazz - @alexalex303 - and @Bala for your responses - as well as @Osborn for letting us know about the possible change. I definitely never thought it was an intentional thing and was an oversight, I was simply posting this to raise awareness to the community. I do not believe anyone would intentionally do that just to put people in DOC as I know we are all here on the server for enjoyment. I am a firm believer in the fact that when people are not in DOC, people are giving RP to the server. I agree with the parole fact Bala stated, I just know its hard to do. That is why I added the possible reduction to DOC time limit. It gives the server more population to conduct operations and give the server more roleplay. The counter argument of less people in DOC, I think more people would be there because they would serve 3 hours at once, not sit afk for 5 plus. If someone does stuff in DOC, they deserve those charges, thats perfectly fine! they should still be reduced by VIP regardless - me going to DOC for 10 hours at one point, I killed a cop, and injured 3 more and got murder and attempted murder x3 (little much in a single situation but hey it is what it is) Thank you guys for proving your input back

LSPD and SASD have been making oopsies lately and have been charging people AFTER they have been sentenced, most of the time its after 300 minutes so it then goes over the 5 hour time, but the issue is - why do I pay for VIP if the charges that get placed after sentencing don't get reduced by VIP?? Example: Was arrested today, they forgot a charge, so they added it post /prison and it did not take off the prison time. I was told to report to lower the time, then told theres nothing we can do. This is somethin that needs to be addressed with how many of us pay for VIP!! Also, 5 hours in DOC is hell, please lower the max sentence time to 3 hours and 5 hours if you cant take the jail fines. It is insane the amount of OOC punishment DOC is. Ive taken my 3 and a half hours and played call of duty on my playstation because im not trying to grind for 2 pieces of dirty laundry just to be DMd by a random inmate who says you looked at me funny. keep times the same, keep fines the same, whatever. Just lower the time were forced to sit in "IC" prison.

People get the wrong idea with cooking, yeah you can make a lot of money but the risk nowadays is crazy. Let’s say you make 200 Coke, that’s 200 plants which most people buy from newer players at 100-200 per plant, then 40k of the other ingredients. With how everyone cooks, prices are usually pretty bad for selling so let’s say they are 580. 116k. after setting up the cook, getting ingredients, you’re making 40-50k profit on that. Throw that on top of the economy where since we got nerfed from cooking in apartments, we have to spend millions on a property to get a good amount of tables in, where most of them are all in very public areas and easily seen. I think this would’ve been something that should have been polled to the community, and I feel that it should be something done of “what do we think about these changes” as no offense to the devs, a LOT of people are on this server 7 days a week and spend a lot of money, we should have a voice in it.

its hard to avoid them when theres 60/70 on during peak times - im not making this argument so crims can fight PD, im making it so criminals can do more and have more opportunity, This at the end of the day is not a cops and robbers server right?? GTA is about criminal activities.

I’ve seen a lot of people recently saying we should lower the gang cap from 40 players, which to me I see why that could work but at the end of the day I see a lot of issues with it. Yes you’ll get more groups of people, but you’re going to just end up having groups with 30 active members daily rolling everyone and 4-5 groups of people who can barely get 10 online. It’s already a bit of an issue now and I think that it would just continue to worsen that issue. I have spoken to a good amount of people who seem to be on board with placing a LEO cap for PD and SD. I am not 100% sure if there even is one in place, if there is then lowering it is the argument. At the moment if I’m not mistaken there are 110-120 people in SD, not sure about PD I would need to check F4. I believe that while a lot of them are criminal alts, I think less people in both groups would allow for more people to join the civilian jobs that keep the server alive, like bayview, LSC, DCC, weazel, etc, and for some it would give more RP for gangs and criminals as a lot of the people would most likely move over and try crimRP out. I don’t think that the biggest issue with crimRP is that there’s nothing to do script wise, I think the problem is there is too many people that do LEO and there isn’t enough players to give crims as much RP. definitely open to hearing counterarguments to this but I think it would be more fair as well as more fun for everyone on the server.

The thing is a lot of these cars you actually do see on a regular basis especially in LA, I don’t think ALL of them should be available but there are some lower end ones that would be nice to have, Lamborghinis are easily seen all the time

If cops run out of fuel they /delcruiser and /fspawn to get full fuel, we cant, dont lower anything of that sort, there isnt anything wrong with it as it is! -1
