Honestly I like the idea of just saying screw it, remove them August 1st, we have to use as many of them as we can and the rest get removed. People can strip ammo and attachments, just the guns are deleted. but screw a refund command, cartel can buy them back, would be something fun to RP. It could be free money for crims like Alex/Clank said, but I could loot a Bullpup mk2 and it’s the same thing, I can resell it and make money on a gun that I didn’t order the same way. So why only for this one gun we make things difficult? crims get money for it, the server entirely gets better with one gun being removed. Badabing badaboom. Then we start focusing on more things to do that don’t strictly make PVP the goal -

Correct this isn’t all about monetary things, but removing the MG mk2s would be great, I agree with Bala saying use them until X date, but also give people the opportunity to refund similarly to the attachments before the gun update was dropped. They’re 37.5k per, that’s 2 chop cars worth! Thats one bank with full pockets PER GUN!! no offense to cops in this scenario but you get to /fl them. We had to purchase, order, and pick them up, and risk 90 minutes of jail and 10k in fines every time we bring them out(just for the gun, not attachments either!) Let crims have at least their money back for the guns they have. Also imo remove all MGs.. the normal one is ass, combat MG is a military weapon, they have no place in crimRP. You don’t see any servers really with a bunch of MGs running around!! -

We dont want "streamer" times. But how does it make sense to be like well i have guns, im going for 3 hours, might as well evade for a difference of 5 minutes. It aint even about PVP like some people think - but think about it. 300 minutes is max sentence without fines, 180 with enough money to pay. I understand the whole murder thing, that is a whole different animal. Maybe make murders jail fines go up to like 40k or something, have a financial deterrent to it. I have an MG mk2 with attachments, a .50, body armor, and 2 blunts. I havent evaded or anything: My time is 90(class 3) - 25(Armor) - 30(Class 1) - 25(attachments) - 25(controlled substance while armed). That is JUST possessions, at 195 minutes. For carrying a kit, I get 3 hours. Lets say instead of an MG I have a Carbine, still 60 mins instead of 90, makes it 165, 15 mins short of a max sentence. Of course im going to try to evade for a 15 minute difference. I think it would just make sense to lower some of these down a bit. I would even be fine saying leave pistols at 30, thats fine. Class 2 at 45, class 3 at 60. Armor as a felon being 25, make it 20, attachments, 20. Lets see what Paul Allens jail sentence looks like then... With an MG: 150 mins With a Carbine: 135 mins Now if you you were to add evading the way I have tried bringing it up, making it 30 mins instead of 60 for evading, then boom with an MG thats perfect 180 minutes. With a carbine its just short. But what is the goal of people saying no to this? Throw people in prison for longer? Make the server MORE boring? You will have a lot of turnover, some people go back to prison every 10 minutes after they leave, so to hear "oh you wont have prisoners!" is BS. Its not like people are asking for 10 minute sentences. Its a small reduction of jail times. Most people will still have max sentences, so people saying otherwise I think is genuinely stupid. Its the small things that makes things more bearable. Its fucked up that if we want to do something together thats fun, we then have a few people, sometimes all of them, go into a place to AFK for 3 hours because of something small. And to respond to Alex... Thats insane, girlies made a video in DOC. Its happened one time in the last 5 years ive been on the server. If I had a nickel for how many times its happened, I'd have 5 cents. So bringing simple anomolys into things is futile to bring up. It has happened in the past. Crims do ask for a lot, but THATS WHAT GTA IS. IT IS A CRIMINAL GAME ABOUT HEISTS, SHOOTING, ROBBING, SPEEDING, AND HAVING FUN. So obviously the main focus should be on making the crim/civ RP as good as it can be. Then LEO RP will follow as they will have more to do, and then you can start to fine tune. PD/SD are in a VERY good place right now with strength, with numbers, and crim RP is very close to being in a fantastic state. But sadly the only thing being focused on is labs, adding more, changing them around, etc. We need a packed money update, we need SOMETHING new for crims to do other than the main 3 that have gotten so stale over the past years. The new job updates have been MASSIVE in revitalizing dead parts of Civ-RP, the same can be done for crims, we just need the resources, but thats a whole different can of worms... Crims are told to "make suggestions" and they will be spoken about, I really hope that we can come to some sort of agreement where everyone is happy, I would absolutely LOVE to be of help. I've even re-applied for staff to try and do my part!!! But im too opinionated.... The personal attacks on this thread have been kinda BS when people are bringing up suggestions... egos dont need to flow when we are all just looking to improve the server for everyone All love, thank you Demmonit for making this thread after you and I had a convo about it, it has gotten attention and thats what we need to get things rolling in the right direction. -

I feel like this could be said better from everyone - from a perspective of someone who has basically gone from full legal to full crim to more weighted on the legal side, I don’t think ALL charges should be lowered, just some specific ones. The jail cap is fine, 6 hours as a cap is crims having fun then sitting afk for 2 movies. Kazji is very right, as crims we have been definitely assisted with jail fines lowering, the VIP script lowering time to usually 1:48 instead of 3:00, guns are now insanely easy to get, but I think mainly the crim community is best utilized when they are out actually giving RP. Currently the last few weeks it’s been ULTRA PVP focused which has been fun, but also annoying, but that’s neither here nor there… I’ve always said this and I’ll continue to echo it - the more people are out and about able to provide RP - the more things crims/civs have to do, the more PD has to do, and the cycle can continue. Similar to what Dale said, more interactions. this all goes into DOC RP as well… sadly every time I go to DOC I do try and do things but get children screaming in my ear, and just ask a guard to lock me up in a cell. If DOC had more stuff to do that’s interactive WITH people, would be fine! Poker! Blackjack! Insert a pool script!! Make DOC great again -

Me and Tim were talking about this - and it really changes how RP goes. People have heavies and go "well, already at a max sentence, might as well try and shoot my way out cause its not extra time" and I think that promotes poor RP and actually promotes PVP vs LEOs. Changing the charges by 50% would be genuinely better than anything with the prison cap. DOC is an AFK sim anyway Correct and some of them you dont need to change, but at the same time you shouldnt have every single charge forcing you into DOC. Some charges that are 30 dont need to go down to 15, but even 20 would be better. Its not about "stay in jail less!" its about balancing how things are. I disagree, we lowered the cap because we need more RP, not more AFK DOC RP. If DOC was renevated then I could understand not worrying about it, but sadly that is where we are at. The limits are perfect imo, 3 then 5 if you cant pay your fines. But you were a leader of a criminal org, and youve been here for a while, how does it make sense that you can get 10 murders of a gov, and be the same as evading, class 2, attachments, and class 1? You dont shoot you still get the same time. That is completely skewed. I was also the one who got in trouble back in the day for cutting peoples prison times by 30 mins for giving ATTEMPTED evasion. That would be something that would work, giving attempted evading if they TRY to evade and fail, and if they successfully do and we have positive ID, we give them the full hour. Big +1 - just need to look into what charges to change and which to leave, and how to balance things to scale AWAY from solely PVP -

I’d love this, if there was a way to do this in a way where you can’t radio after you get injured via a weapon, that would be cool to add - admin logs show the reason for death being Weapon: *INSERT GUN* if I remember right, so there should be a way to code it. 2 minutes seems like a lot though, maybe 30 seconds to a minute even would be a sweet spot. Or just allow it entirely after a fall/crash. You can radio once stabilized by medics so that wouldn’t be horrible either.

-1, the mods make it so there's another barrier to get it. Giving everyone the mods for free other than just the ammo wont work, especially because they all change the ammo capacity and such.

Adding more active labs is a good and a bad thing - more active labs means more for different groups to do, more of a variety of the TYPE of labs, i think the big thing would be the table distribution. Having dedicated crack labs, dedicated coke labs, not a mix of 2 coke 2 crack and 3 weed or something like that, this goes back to my tiered labs solution of having 6 open, could also be more but similar ideas to what youre saying - +1!

I love it when theres events, from what I know the mapping is semi easy to add/remove - i think maybe theres a way to map in an island or another place with a few tracks that can be made and imported in, I think that would be a really good addition to the racing community! But yeah having it be there with multiple criminal hot spots there, makes it a lot more difficult to manage.

With FM 2.0 and cooking being a huge thing for turfs, a few of us made a few interesting ideas for tables and making them worth while: with the illegal faction tier system, why not add the ability to add tables on exteriors of your gangs turfs, and every tier you get, you have the ability to add 2 more tables(or whatever number) - so for example rooks being tier 7, we could place 14 tables down on our turf. This would be a way that we can balance a few things, 1: so we don’t have people that cook and make 20-30 million in a month, and 2: reward people who DO want to RP with the ability to not be forced to PVP for our drugs, which is what the current system does. I think this would also bring more involvement from the smaller factions that may have been pushed away from cooking due to the PVP aspect of things associated to public labs and give them incentive to keep going forward, while also helping them still maintain turfs this would also be applicable to cooking inside of your warehouse, both would work for this. Removing all of the labs I don’t think is a great idea, as it’s been a staple of the server for a long time and it’s a faster but more dangerous alternative. The biggest issue is like I said above, having someone sitting in a lab tabbed out not doing anything but printing money. The current table script makes it very interactive so there’s less of that nowadays. there would need to be rules put in place for this obviously, but just spitballing the idea out there -

I am not sure when this was changed but recently I've noticed when selling vehicles, you can get the WORST car choppable, and get 20k from it, then you can grab the Jester Racecar... and get 20k from it... I believe this was a silent change, but I believe this should yield a SLIGHTLY higher payout per vehicle if we are going the "uniform amount" route. With how many tools and prep and the fact it usually takes multiple people to pull off, the yield should be around 25-30k per vehicle. I do enjoy the excitement of "OH THATS A GOOD CAR" where people who chop regularly see it and have to fight for who gets it first. Just a small monetary raise for chopping! Thoughts below

Hey hi! This is more of a developer thing I know but there are 2-3 banks that have been put into the server but aren’t able to be robbed. I’m just saying these should be opened and made scriptly robbable, having 4 banks where when 1 or 2 get hit, the other two get specifically patrolled/camped make it very difficult most times to even start a bank without people already staring at the front door seeing when people go in. I know some will agree some will disagree, but they are already on the map, they just need to be activated which shouldn’t be a huge task

Honestly private labs were overpowered to do, could place a drug down, wait 10 minutes, pick the drug up, water, repeat for hours and print money. Recently with spills and all that stuff being added it made it a lot more difficult to cook. The issue is, yes you are forcing people to interact, sadly you're also forcing them to PVP. So if you're a solo player you have a VERY SLIM chance to make any profit cooking whatsoever. I understand the argument 100% but people also need to see it from the other side - its almost 4x the time to cook in places, and with houses and properties being taken away, you can realistically only cook on about idk 10 tables? (ive not done it before)

Why not make it an app on the phone instead of calling? If theres a way to script that in, we do kinda need a phone update, would be nice to have this added in. I like the other things too, i call coroners a lot and there are never any on, mostly just have admins despawn the bodies

Im gonna keep it short, I'm a known disliker of the U menu but im aware its something I am just going to have to get used to - with the new radio changes, I agree that it is better in the long run to have a timer to change freqs, but I have spoken to a lot of people and everyone I've spoken with (mostly in the crim community, some in the legal community) agree that 4 seconds is FAR too long. Most crims who have binds to go through and check where their gang or friend group is, it can take 2 minutes to swap through all of the freqs, just to find out that none of them are active, when it used to take 20 seconds. My suggestion is to cut that time to 2 seconds, not take it out entirely, as it is just very tedious to deal with 4 seconds. which feels like 4 years each time you change.. (i know im over-exaggerating but most people would agree its obnoxious to deal with) Also, with the U menu being changed and being able to do a WHOLE lot of things, is there a way to script in an UNBIND ALL FREQS option? Obviously this would take some time, maybe 30 seconds to do, but that would be a REALLY good thing to add in to the crim community as bind checking can be life or death for criminals/gangs and with this new menu it just makes it almost impossible to do and go through to EACH NUMBER and change them. My last thing would be make Bindradio 1 as the first option instead of 0, as universally keyboards have 0 that comes after 9 on the top. Thanks for your time!
