  1. +1 to this. I completely understand the reason for the despawn timers, but think the Roadworkers one specifically needs to be extended. Doing a job solo can easily take 30-40 minutes for a larger one. Not only does a truck despawning mean the player gets stranded, but they also can't complete the job without a Vetir nearby.
  2. big +1 to this one. No need to make it complicated with a different script. Have it work exactly as houses do.
  3. +1 with a few modifications. I definitely think the new player journey could use a refresh. Personally, I think instead of the bus station, the new player spawn point should be the airport (rply, they'd fly into the city). The DMV is a short walking distance from the airport where a player can get their license. Maybe to help, an initial pop up that stays on their screen for a bit advising them to go to the DMV to get their license, or a waypoint set on their GPS on initial spawn which takes them to the DMV. I would disagree with the idea of giving a new player an untradeable car out of the gate. Many players wouldn't all want to be stuck with a Warrener forever, if at all. But I would not be opposed to one or more of the following options. 50% discount on any dealership car under 20k (1 time use only and only valid while they have a New Player Tag) 5-10K more in starter cash First taxi ride free of charge.

  5. @bandit willson this process has not changed. The steps are very clearly outlined in how to format it on the page. Simply copy the format, paste it in your post, and fill in information that is pertinent to your ban.
  6. Hey there. If you haven't already, you'll want to post an appeal in the proper section which I've linked below for you. https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/forum/3-decision-appeals/
  7. Those who place orders for truckers have a minimum that they must add for the trucker based on the value of the items they are ordering. Don't like the amount you'd get to deliver an order? Don't take that load. If it sits long enough without being delivered, I'm willing to bet that the payment would be increased.
  8. If it's consistent for you, please try to take some footage and post it in the Bug Reports section.
  9. Hey there. There were some ongoing issues throughout the weekend that were worked on. Are you still experiencing crashing issues @Nikolia?
  10. Gonna throw in a -1 for this for now with some ideas of my own. I do believe there should be a scripted way to partially own companies, but not government funded ones. RPly, it would make no sense for a Government funded business to also be able to have shareholders. Shareholders are involved in company earnings calls, company decisions, and that would make no sense for things funded by a Government. Passive income is something I'm a bit against in general, as I can foresee players standing in an apartment complex for hours on end with no intentions to RP just so they can collect an inflated salary because they've bought some shares in a Government funded company. However, I'd like to see private scripted businesses have the option for multiple people to have an ownership stake (gas stations, gun stores, general stores, etc). % of ownership can be set by the majority stakeholder, and payouts occur automatically when money is withdrawn from the treasury. Example. If I own 75% of a Gas Station, John Doe own 15%, and Jane Smith owns the remaining 10%. I would set those percentages in the business's Manage Menu. I withdraw 100K from the treasury (not factoring in taxation to this). 75K automatically goes to me. 15K automatically goes to John Doe 10K automatically goes to Jane Smith. I'd personally like to see some sort of a stock market come into play in the server where players could invest in companies not run by anyway (Burgershot, Fleeca Bank, Clothing Stores, etc.), but I feel like that would turn into a rich get richer type scenario and throw off the economy balance even further. I understand your point in posting this was to help newer players make money a little faster, but investing into businesses is generally something that someone with more established wealth & savings has the ability to do.

  14. Was the money in your salary already when you purchased VIP?
  15. +1. Let the bikers jam out like their 4 wheel driving friends.
  16. 100% agree with your comment about trucking. There should be some adjustments to the trailer system to let you take multiple loads before the trailer despawns. I believe the trailers were brought about after the freelance jobs pay were rebalanced. The overall pay increase, I will disagree with, however. Most of these jobs are done solo and don't provide much rp opportunity (minus roadworkers & burgershot). They aren't there to be full time jobs, but more a place to get started or do in your free time. More money in these jobs will only mean people will grind more to get to the top of the food chain and wouldn't increase the amount of rp happening IMO. More money in these jobs will also even further throw off the already unbalanced economy.
  17. Damn. was hoping for a Maxed Warrener.

  20. I'd like to suggest adding a /tw command that functions similar to the /cw command. /tw would whisper to everyone sitting at the same gambling table as you. Simply suggesting this to avoid all the extra clutter in the chatbox of people's conversations sitting a table or two away at the casino.
  21. Gonna disagree with this one. Let the new update be enjoyed by all whenever they want. Casinos are open 24/7/365 so there's no reason for it to be any different. I'm sure things will balance out once the newness of the casino update wears off and people lose all their money.
  22. Hey @pixiejewels. OP hasn't had access to impounding vehicles in quite some time. I have not noticed any issues with the impound lot functionality at all recently. I'd say this one is probably good to archive.
  23. I would agree that the trailer should stay attached to the vehicle until you've completed the deliveries you'd like to complete (or at least a set number of them) before having to return for another trailer. As another option, players could have the choice to claim and load multiple deliveries at once (depending on volume). Then have them delivered directly in succession. It's a bit unrealistic to me that a 53' trailer doesn't have the capacity to hold more than an order of 20 radios for a general store. If none of those could be an option, I'd suggest adding a second trailer depot in Paleto. This could resolve making time consuming trips back to the city to pick up another empty trailer. This effects loads that have to be picked up in Paleto the most as it's the complete opposite end of the map from where a trailer can be picked up. I would disagree with @Requiem's statement saying trucking provides good income. It certainly CAN if you get the right orders. However, if you're doing orders that require loading in Paleto (general store, gun store) for delivery on Route 68 for example, you're driving from the trailer yard to Paleto to load, to 68 for the delivery, then back to the city to get another trailer. Followed by another trip to Paleto to reload if you want to do multiple deliveries for the same location. I tested this out a bit and these take 20-30 minutes (with VIP loading speedup) a piece to complete this circle for what's likely 1-2K. I've noticed general store orders sitting unfulfilled for 1-2 days lately which was very unlikely to happen prior to the trailers being brought back in, and I believe this extra time is a direct contributor to that.
