  1. Akio Asakura, head of the club, made it clear from the start that he was completely against weapons. In the morning of 23rd April 2020, Akio sent a text to members of command that they were having a meeting. Benjamin, Akio and Han met up at an undisclosed location somewhere downtown. They all greeted each other and then sat down to have a talk about serious matters. Among the things were new race tracks, new racing-protocol, possible recruits and lastly weapons. Akio knew that Benjamin had and still has connections to the underground world. Even though that he acknowledged Benjamin to be the crucial connection to the illicit part of the club, he did not want Benjamin to make a bad reputation for the club. It is clear to him that Benjamin is able to get street racers easily, girls for car-shows and rare tuner parts for the racing-cars, which is the reason why Akio keeps his eyes shut when Benjamin does something he should not have. But during the meeting, Akio had to make it clear, especially to Benjamin, that if someone is caught doing deals with weapons or narcotics, they would be kicked out immediately. If organizations and gangs would think that Midnight Club is dealing with weapons and drugs, Akio knew that they would think we are stepping on their lawn and taking their potential profit. "It could basically be the end for us, do you understand?" - Akio Even though the explicit warnings from Akio, Benjamin Holt felt that the club would need some sort of protection. He would do it for the clubs best, even though they would not understand it. Los Santos is a dangerous place with criminals everywhere. It would not take long before a gang recognized us and would start causing problems. Having weapons at disposal when needed, was something Benjamin felt was necessary. Benjamin was just casually driving around town in the newly acquired Granger that was bought for club-purposes. It started to get late, so he decided to head home. On his way to his apartment, he stopped at a parking lot to check his left rear tire, it had a strange sound to it. He inspected the tire and he could not find any issues. Suddenly he gets a notification on his phone, a text. Diondre Walker has done some jobs with Benjamin, before he joined the Midnight Club. Diondre, not knowing Benjamin was not in a gang, contacted him regarding possibly selling some new 'toys'. Davis Quarts at 23:30, Benjamin was now going to his second meeting on the same day. Benjamin hopped in the car and was on his way to the highway. Benjamin was just about to connect to the Los Santos highway when he gets another text from Diondre Walker. Location had changed, no idea why but that's how it goes sometimes. Luckily for Benjamin, he did not need to change road, plus Tatavian Mountains was closer to him than Quartz. Benjamin took the first right and was on his way up on a small dirt road. Even though Diondre did not specify where Benjamin needed to go, he knew that eventually he would see him. About a minute of driving up the small road, Benjamin sees someone on the side of the road. The man was waving and when he came closer, Ben saw it was Diondre. The two greeted each other, happy to finally meet after a long time. Benjamin did not see a car nearby, meaning that Diondre probably parked it somewhere privately. Diondre told Ben to wait, as he went to a bush and took out a big bag. Both of them proceeded to get in Benjamins Granger and Diondre told him to keep on driving. When they finally reached the destination, both of them got out of the car and went up the stairs. According to Dre, this was an old abandoned place, with no one ever visiting it. Because of the trust they had between them, Benjamin did not have to take the money with him yet. He would give it to Dre after a few days, which was completely fine with him. Making sure that no one followed and that no one is around, the inspection and showcase of the weapons could start. Benjamin picked up a shotgun and a uzi, and inspected it himself. The shotgun was a bit heavier than he expected, but he loved it. Both the micro-smg and shotgun was a must, Benjamin needed it for the club. It does not matter if he pays for this himself, he is not doing this for the money, rather for the club. After testing it out, Benjamin told Diondre that they had a deal. The total was 5 shotguns and 4 micro-smg, reasonable amount for a relatively small club as ours.
  2. RSA, Republic of South Africa. The country with over 2,790 kilometers of coastline is the country that Benjamin Holt was born in. Being the largest country in Southern Africa, with over 58 million citizens, Benjamin got to know many diverse people, everything from hood rats to businessmen. He was born to an family that was economically stable and educated. He was born June 1989 in Johannesburg, one of the bigger cities in S.Africa. His father, Sebastian Holt, was an doctor originating from the United Kingdom. His mother was an beautiful woman from Capetown, who moved to Johannesburg together with her husband. Even though Benjamin was raised in an educated family, he never really cared about education. He was blind when it came to planning the future, instead he had his focus on parties and friends. His parents knew this, but there was nothing they could do. Benjamin graduated high school with 'decent' grades but he knew that there was no job that really suited him. He did not want to resort to criminality, since he knew that would devastate his family but also their reputation. The thoughts of his life and what people would think of him started to tear him down. When Benjamin turned 20, he decided to pack his stuff and completely leave Johannesburg. It was not an easy choice, but he felt that it was something that needed to be done. When he broke the news to his parents, his mom started crying and his father was all silent, but you could see the tears build up in his eyes too. They knew that there would be nothing of their only son, he is simply a failure. Benjamin felt that it was for everyone's best if he left, but was it the right decision? Leaving Africa and entering United States of America. A few days had passed since Benjamin left his family and his life in Johannesburg. He started regretting his choices but there was no turning back. A one way ticket is a one way ticket, no room for second thoughts. Benjamin is sitting in the Airbus 747 and contemplating about what he should do first when he lands, probably talk to government officials. Shortly his thoughts are disrupted by the cabin crew. "Welcome to the Los Santos International Airport. Sorry about the bumpy landing. Please remain seated until the plane is parked at the gate." This is it, Benjamin thinks, I'm finally here. He took his cabin bag and proceeded to wait inside the Airport building for his bigger luggage. When leaving the airplane he had to go thru passport control and immigration, but other than that there was not much else to do. Benjamin, with his luggage, went outside and took a deep breath. It was American air, not very different from the African one, but still American... Benjamin, waiting outside Terminal 5, waived in an yellow cab and hopped in. The driver helped him put his big bag in the trunk and entered the back seat. Not planning where to go, he told the driver to just drive downtown. Benjamin got to see what life really is like in Los Santos. gangbangers on every corner, narcotics changing owners, cars being picklocked and cops driving with sirens. Is this really America, he said to himself. A couple years later. Benjamin started out his life slowly in Los Santos. He was working at several coffee shops and restaurants, mainly as a waiter. It was not what he wanted, but it was something that he needed to do. Living in an small condo with his co-worker, he started thinking bigger. He does not want to drive a Warrener and live in an crack-apartment. Benjamin did not decide to start learning trading and earn money that way, no, Benjamin was thinking of criminality. He sees gangbangers driving super cars around town, flexing their weapons and bitches. Why would they be any better than him? During his years of legal work, he saved up a small portion of money, some sort of buffer. Benjamin was thinking of possibly using that money to start out his 'career' in criminal activities, but it was merely just theoretical plans. His room mate and co-worker, Zeiwa Gueye, came up one day with an idea. Zeiwa said that he knows a guy, who knows a guy that could get us a couple of pistols for a ridiculous cheap price. Benjamin kindly declined the offer, but was thinking of it every day. Zeiwa wanted to get two guns and then rob a small gold-shop, which was to Benjamin crazy. One day Benjamin got fired from Espresso House and decided that it was time. He contacted his mate and told him, "It's time.". They scouted the place and agreed that pistols would not do it, they needed more heavy artillery. Zeiwas contact could fix SMGs and AK-47s, which is exactly what Benjamin and Zeiwa bought. It was all of Benjamin money, so if this failed he would be doomed. Prison and bankruptcy, not something he would ever wish for. Fast forward 2 weeks and both of the newly formed criminals are sitting in their cheap apartment, drinking Hennessy and throwing gold and money around. They successfully did it, and it was all on the news. Weazel News "This morning, gold worth a total of $250.000 was taken from Azizis Goldshop in downtown Los Santos, no suspect are confirmed by the LSPD. Two heavily armed men entered the shop and as it can be seen by the CCTV, they hit the shopworker with an AK-47 in full force, knocking him down. If you have any information regarding this, please contact our hotline: 506-1221." This was only the start of something bigger for Benjamin. Benjamin had ever since the hit, worked with Zeiwa as partners. They did their work good and clean, not getting caught one time. It was all about not slipping and making yourself pay for it. But Benjamin, inspired from old gangster movies, decided that he would want to join a gang, a family. Lurking around the city for someone to hopefully join, he got his eyes on Front Yard Ballas. The guys in purple got Benjamins interest, but also Zeiwas. The partners talked with eachother regarding possibly talking with them and becoming a gangbanger. Their decision was made fast, they would give it a try. During several days they were on the hunt to find a recruiter, which they finally did. It was an calm day, not much happening in the city. They had a meeting with Alexander Johan, a recruiter in the gang. He explained that once you join, you can only leave in one way and that would be in an casket. He explained their relations with other gangs and how their future was looking. Both Benjamin and Zeiwa like it and agreed to the terms put up by the FYB recruiter. They started out as young ballas and worked their way up, slowly but steady. Life seemed to become better and better for Benjamin, maybe it was the right decision to leave Johannesburg. Fast forwarding a couple of years, FYB had to retreat underground because of conflicts with another gang. Everyone was forced to drop out of colors and start a new chapter of their life. Benjamin never thought that this could happen, but nothing in the criminal world is ever 100% sure. One day you are something, the next day you are either locked up or in an casket. Benjamin kept the purple colors for some days after the 'disbanding', but finally dropped it. He was full of hatred and only wanted to see blood. Until... One day when Benjamin was out driving, he saw someone on the side of the road. Someone's car had broke down and the person was waiting for an mechanic. Benjamin pulled over and extended an helping hand, which was gladly accepted by the man. Sadly there was nothing Benjamin could do, but the two got to know each other, which would show to be a good thing later on. The mans name was Akio Asakura. Akio had told Benjamin he loved racing cars and was very passionate about it. He was looking for a new sports car and Ben contacted him the next day, asking if Akio was available to hang out a bit. As Benjamin is friendly and loves to bond with people, it was obvious for him to get to learn Akio better. The two met up at an bar and drank the whole night. They talked about everything from women to cars. When the subject was about cars, Akio brought up that he planning on opening up a racing club, Midnight Club. He was asking if Benjamin would be interested in building something new and unique. Since Benjamin was on the streets, without anything concrete to do, he was very interested in making something. The two would plan day and night on how the thing would be, making big plans for the future. Most of the fundamental things was made and any problems that may pop up were solved. They had thought about everything. They wanted this to be perfect. One thing was made clear by Akio from the start, considering he knew that Benjamin used to be a gangmember: "This is not a gang, and will never be." Days and nights flew by the partners and they were losing grip of time. They did not have time to rest, work had to be done. Finally. Finally they were done, at least to the fundamental pillars of the club. Most of the structure was made, racing tracks, betting, recruitment and tons of other things were clarified. Most of the things they have done were and will be classified for a period of time, at least until they decide it's the right time to bring it out to the public...
