Definitely interesting! In the past I had to RP graduating from the University instead but now this could definitely be a feature I’m down for.

Looks sick just saw the thread today. Good luck with you guys!

That aint' how the ecrp dev team work my man

How is this considered good RP? In real life there is no "scripts," its either you get real documents or you don't. Searching for a deal through IC means should be rewarded rather than punished for not using the HE scripts. HE scripts are fast and efficient but they make it so that we avoid interaction with people, looking for a seller for your wants can be fun and scamming just makes it a chore to do.
-
In that scenario then yes he probably will not receive a refund, although the scamming party would receive a PG offense for lying in /do. Most of these scams happen without any RP though and that really what made me feel that scamming is such a poor RP practice.
-
Very much agree with your final point. If not to all scamming then there atleast should be a rule that prohibits you from scamming new players, and also to assist those players who are scammed to get back on their feet because so many of them just quit after admins seeming "not caring" because they used the wrong format. While I agree that they should have taken the time to file a proper report most of them don't have the morale to continue playing after their car / house which is usually all they have has been scammed.

Not all cops are like this I can assure you. I had one of my best RP moments last week, let me share it a bit. My vehicle was crashed after a chase involving me, the Russian Mafia, and the police. I exited the vehicle, raised my hands and got on my knees. When the cop tried to cuff me. /me tries to cuff the man /do success? /me falls over infront to avoid the policeman /me puts his feet on top of the person and tries to handcuff him /me wiggles around to avoid being cuffed "Sir stop resisting or I will taze you!" "Don't taze me! I have a heart condition!" "Then let me cuff you!" "Alright, alright" /me tries to finally cuff the person /me tries to knock the cuffs off his hands /do am I able to? /me would be surprised but would keep hold of the cuffs I proceed to get tazed and RP having heartrate issues to which a medic squad was called and gave me medicine to stabilize myself. It was very enjoyable and he did not accuse me of Fear RP or Powergame and we both respected each other throughout the scenario. Eclipse has a lot of good RPers if you look hard enough

How is that fair? I understand that the markets are always an option but what I am saying is that scamming is poor RP. Its just not very realistic and a lot of new players are suffering because there is no rule for it. And how is using OOC chat to trigger a scam even allowed? In my eyes your point just makes no sense
-
I think its about time they added a rule about scamming. It just doesn't make sense RP wise. Even if they "give you the keys" that doesn't make you automatically the owner theres still paperwork and if I was scammed IRL and gave the "keys" then I can just report the scam with my paperwork stating that I own the car. Its very poor RP that people are doing this and worse of all they use /ooc chat to trick gullible new players that they are immune to scamming in a NCZ. I can understand if you get scammed when buying illegal items but it just doesn't make sense to be scammed out of properties and vehicles. The rulebook should reflect this as NRP as it clearly is, have you ever heard of something like this happening IRL? 9/10 the person who drove away in the car would be arrested and charged, the command is OOC and should remain OOC. /transfervehicle abuse needs to stop.

I don't think low end should be repurpoused, low end obviously has much smaller capacity than high end and if you're able to sell 30K< cars there then there would be no more space for below 30K> cars where new players usually search. Best compromise is leave the current markets as it is but open a new all prices market up north.
-
I somewhat agree with @ZVER as even at the Bank when too many people and cars are there my framerate would be halved. I do agree that the markets should be expanded now that theres a lot more player in Eclipse. Maybe adding a third car market in Sandy Shores / outside the city?

This is probably the most well made thread I've seen in a while. Good luck to you guys! Would love to see you RP in game.

Fishing from your Boat in the ocean gives more fish/better fish

This post got a lot more relevant since boats are now a thing again -
Yes! Very much what I had in mind but you worded it much better with the simple perception vs slight of hand. DnD players wya. Also I still would like to point out that /dice sends a message that your character is throwing dice not just RNG for “stats.”
-
All houses with an address are owned by players. I very much don’t agree with this because then there is nowhere that is truly safe to stash your items. There are a lot of options to make money on criminal RP but I would say the only region where criminal RP shines is the depth of RP you can go into. Obviously civilian RP makes you more money / hour but its a good balancing act because then not everyone will do criminal RP and we’ll still have civilians working daily jobs. -1

I wouldn't say this is a good example as what I was showing is wether or not RP'ing our counterpart to be not vigilant enough where the dice throw type system could be "fair." I wouldn't recommend this to be used to justify PG in the sense of unrealistic acts but only on the "without giving chance to react" part. Also as far as I know /roll is your character doing it IC'ly not a /do to state facts regarding the situation.
-
Imagine this situation, you’re being arrested and you decide to swallow a pill to fake your death. You do a /me falls over to the ground and follow up with a /me takes a pill in his hand while he is falling and for good measure you do a /do will the officer notice?. 9/10 the scenario will end with the officer realizing he has done it and only 1/10 will the officer RP not realizing. I believe that there should be a command to decide a yes / no question where it can be completely fair. Now reimagine the scenario. You do a /do will the officer notice?, and then you ask him to use the command on wether or not he will. Lets assume the command will work as following, /chance. “No (ID X)” or “Yes (ID X).” That way, it will prevent PG from the party attempting to sneakily do something and also prevent him from being mad that the officer did not play along with RP. I would love to see this kind of feature.

I don't understand why there should be an option to dump it at the foundry. Its already a feature to be able to gut bodies and sell it to the butcher, it doesn't make much sense either cause its a metallurgy plant not just any furnace.
-
Well, I didn't really think that much. I just thought maybe it could be usefull because sometimes people have a different skin tone or different face (not CK) and people still recognizes them. But thank you for shedding some light on to the abuses of the system.
-
Logically it would make sense though
-
Please make it so that when you get plastic surgery especially on your face people would forget your alias. It would be good RP for people to recognize the change and it will help people who CK from being recognized.
-
Would make much more sense however it would be better for ease of access if they added also more locations especially outside the city. Are people in Paleto not allowed to have furniture?
-
I don’t see why this change is really required but ok.

Upon return to Los Santos and a further look at the underbelly of the city he tried to ignore, he realized his journey into rebuilding his family’s empire will not be an easy task. At first he thought the easiest way would be to just try to make a branch from zero. Clearly that did not work. After a few encounters he made from people he kidnapped he interrogated his way into learning the workings of the criminal underworld. Out of all the gangs the person spoke of, one of which ranged a bell. The Triads. Leaving his victim tied up in an abandoned garage, he contemplates on what his next decision should be. Still hope-full, he tried to recruit new members into his cause, starting from people he meets on the street in need of some easy money. In doing so, he unintentionally made a friend with the Outcast, a rising gang newly formed in Los Santos. After a day of mischief with his new follower and his newfound Outcast friend, they leave home with bags filled with cash and a grin on their faces. Although the success he accomplished yesterday, Atsuchika can’t help but feel helpless in front of all the big gangs ahead of him. He thinks if he should continue to pursue his fathers last wish, or to simply give up and live a normal live while he is ahead of the police. While he contemplates on his decision, a plan c begin to emerge in his head.
