  1. I personally don't think you have good judgement on what's healthy or not, specially when you're not affected. Having gun decay im not arguing against, I'm saying remove the jams and fix the repair. "I also think it's questionable to make a suggestion rooted in a bug" The suggestion is removing gun jamming, keep the decay, fix the bug where you can't repair them properly, but jamming is no bueno,. and I'm pretty sure another community poll would have people vote towards it. Even if you argue gun jamming is good in concept, the execution and the way it works is not. You personally won't ever have a gun jam so thank you for your time and input on my suggestion have a lovely day.
  2. guns realistically dont jam after 100 bullets, dont agree with u, and dont think ur affected by it since u spawn and respawn guns with 300 ammo, and 100 durability. but thank u for your output. The way gun jam scripts is is also unrealistic, it makes you freeze in ur place and forces u in a reload anim, when your gun jams it just doesnt shoot. Also it's a game.
  3. Well to play the devil's advocate, let's pretend to totally agree, using the repair kit doesnt actually make your gun 100% (bugged rn, bug report is in). And the way Jamming works is unrealistic / bad, which is not a bug, the current script makes you freeze like you're tazed and basically forces you to die, when your gun can appear as above 50%. One of my faction members just died 2 times becaues of his gun being "Green" and above 50% , but as he's shooting, just freeze in his place bcz of jams, so yea, adjustments are needed
  4. I feel like your gun degrading to 0 and you losing it is incentive enough to maintain and clean your guns

I don't even see the value gun jamming brings The degredation was done to revive gun sales, and encourage player to player interactions for acquiring guns, and combat old palyers who have 100s of guns just being inactive. It's meh, but I get it, however the gun jamming is just annoying, and not-realistic, realistically the gun should jam, not taze you and force you to freeze and moonwalk in your place while doing a reload anim, just doesnt fit with GTA imo
  6. Despite being one of the people negatively affected with the gun decay, I support it and see it's necessity for the gun trade economy. However, repair is bugged refer to : And on top of repair being bugged, the gun jam is RNG. It kinda "Tazes" you, it freezes you in your place, making you unable to move, forcing you to stand still and start doing a gun reload animation. I don't see anything positive it provides, and specially since you can clean a gun, have it appear at 100%, when the script counts it as 50%, and make your gun jam, which not many people were aware of (I found out after I went and cleaned/maintained all my guns). But yea TLDR: generally speaking gun jam only affects crims, decay and repair is bugged, no RP value or anything positive from the gun jams.

Just tested, bug still there, please fix it people will start losing guns and flood refund requests I had a gun around 20%, after repairing it, it appeared at 100%, 2 days later I learnt about the bug, it appeared around 95% still, I dropped and picked it up. It went to 50% I repaired again, it appeared 100%. I dropped and picket it up and now it shows around 80%.

  9. -1 on this, don't see the point, specially when u go pickup your car after a situation where u potentially NLRed, to drive it to bennys with missing tires, ALREADY hoping there's 1 mechanic bc it's night time.

  12. This is an amazing suggestion, big +1. Many of the people disagreeing you'll find agreeing with anything to do with improving realism for "crims" but not the other way around, having 2 shot tazer was a good way to start, a system like this, maybe with vehicles too is amazing. Rn you go 240, crash into a wall, drive /delcruiser, spawn a new one
  13. then the tier system and rewards for gangs should be adjusted imo, it created a "fair value gap" in trader terms. and basically screwed over people's progress, and inflated others'

  15. its ok, there is a heli out 24-7 and so often if the heli makes it in time for the tracker, the chase is on regardless of vehicle.
  16. I am 100000% in favor of this, one of the best suggestions as of recently, that have to do with criticism points regarding the last update, which made things more "Grindy"
  17. I agree with the OP, how people complained MG MK2 was OP,. but now all MK2s are useless, which was a big incentive thing for gangs in their tier up system, and now it basically means nothing, nerfing damage overall or changing gun availablility would've been better imo.
  18. What about active players who don't have VIP. OR Inactive players who have VIP (For a year for example to avoid losing houses). they can login and vote. Inactive players can also login, buy VIP and vote. I don't mind the whole thing to a degree but no need to sugarcoat it, as @Bala said "There is also the implication by their inclusion that donating to the server allows you to have more of a say over the direction of the community than someone that does not, lol." Basically, Pay = Vote. No Pay = doesn't matter, you don't pay the bills. Doesn't seem like it has anything to do with activity
  19. I agree with you but id say its also timezone dependent sometimes, specially for bennys, and bayview can't always leave if theres 1 or 2 on duty
  20. +1 makes a lot of sense. if u keep the plate you need 10euros to change it back to whatever (for the buyer) then another 10 euros (to change it back)
  21. it's okay bro, there's spikes, 10+ people on the chase, ram bars, blocking lanes, heli, easy GPS / chase tracking (don't need any map knowledge) , and exemption from the NonRP Convoy rule. If you get a high speed chase, lose, and put a BOLO out, try to trace the car, which often times people still get caught, fair game man it's no biggie Imo, I'd be glad I had my fun, got my chase, etc, since I gain nothing from doing the arrest or "winning" the situation, and a "Win" should be getting content and gameplay that's fun (for both sides), if it's not fun to chase and lose, that's an issue imo. ( I also play both crim and LEO)
