  1. The idea in itself is nice but I doubt there is a way to find out how much a person cooked before the update. Giving levels per X EXP would be a bit unfair as some have VIPs and would fly through levels. I like the idea, I do not like the fact I have to start from the zero after years of cooking but again, I don't think they have a way of making it fair for everyone. They already allowed XP purchase in the beginning.....
  2. Hello! As some of us have experienced, at lvl 25+ you unlock the chance to make high potency drugs, dividing the yield of a cook to (low - medium - high). Of course as the majority of us do, we stack them until 250 or smth then sell them at once to avoid price drops. Unfortunately, one potency affects the others of the same drug; i.e. if you sell low potency, high potency drops and vice versa. My suggestion is one of the following: Lower potency boosts higher potency prices (but not as much as using different drug to boost). While higher potency lowers the price for lower potencies. different potencies of the same drug are not affected by one another; i.e. if you sell high won't increase or decrease lower potencies and vice versa. At every milestone, you eliminate the lowest potency's chance. For an example, at level 25 instead of having a chance for low, medium, or high. Make it so it is medium or high. Prices been already nerfed compared to how it was before this system. This would just balance things out and make it less painful.
  3. The idea is nice, but I am not really sure what's the issue if cops are flying up high with a sniper rifle or a marksman rifle and shooting down. These weapons obv got the longer range, and scope, thus the advantage. Also, just as we all know; cops operate on a different scale compared to criminals. I see no issue with cops using heli as a gunship when situations call for it. If bullets don't reach, then bullets don't reach. Otherwise, it'd be NRP to have weapons of different ranges, fire rates and damage. But just to be clear, this suggestion is for everyone, right? Not just a "we lost to cops and now we are salty" but more of a "we want to see an improvement". I mean, ..... Crims shouldn't be doing it too, right? (more footage) or We can use it, but others not? aside from the 2 mins crash course on flying I'd say -1, cops got their equipment on a different grade than us crim to use on situations deemed necessary. Maybe a rethink on the gunship approach and how frequent it is used if people feel it is too much as I personally have never encountered a gunship. Or simply don't create situations where LEOs have the need to use the gunship.
  4. Where did I say that? I know how the whole system works my man. What I am talking about is that there are some punishments that go up in ban times and who knows if they will be able to return before the 3 months or not. There are a lot of punishments, do not have asset wipe as a secondary, that can keep you banned for more than 3 months. Please do not try to direct it into a punishment discussion. People can be in a situation with no access for more than 3 months either due to a ban or an IRL situation. That's what I am saying. Anyways, if they couldn't make it in 3 months, then they're getting assets wiped as an extra punishment to their other punishment. Feel free to reach out to me on discord if you're looking for further clarification on the current punishment system
  5. I mean, if there is an emergency for longer than two months then that's real life. Not because it ended in 6 months or 3 months or a year means someone loses their progress or what they had been working on for a while; moving residence, internet issue ...etc. Also, doing something bad and getting banned is expected. No one is perfect, people will be making mistakes and unless their punishment includes asset wipe, then this will be a harsher punishment.
  6. Thing is, what if someone has an IRL emergency or get banned, they just lose everything? I get your point, we need to force people to use their stuff instead of hoarding but again, in the end it is a game not my primary job to be logging on to maintain weapons. To balance it, making the repair bench expensive is only fair ngl.
  7. I am an advocate that crims should never be able to win vs gov, simple and easy. However, reading through the arguments, I can see people complaining about the MG Mk2 and the 200 APs crims received. The 200 AP was a mistake, plain and simple, and FM is reversing it to 150; no one is using them or selling them. But I am certain there were, ofc, some isolated cases. Again, no one is perfect. My man, you know I got nothin but love for you, but dancing on the same fucking line over and over about the 200 AP, ignoring the fact that many people said FM is reversing it and it’s been only two or three weeks since they were given out as a special import, is, respectfully, annoying. The helicopter incident with OTF is again an isolated incident, and staff are looking into it; it is not an everyday measure for you to be concerned about. For the MG Mk2s, they come with a heavy price tag for basic import AND tax, they’re not free. I’d happily state that 85 % of the crim player base cannot afford it or see it as a waste of money, and I’m pretty sure even with it being around a group of people, it hasn’t changed the course of that many situations with cops. Only 2 gangs had access to it, I could say it was abused as some people decided not to tax on it, making it a bit more manageable but not to the extent of it being free. I’d say 75 % of the crim player base has not carried a 100 AP, and even if they do, it’s always in a crim vs crim situation, since battles vs cops are not profitable nor winnable (again, I support this, as they should never be). There are not many people who can move 100 AP around. And as a member of one of those gangs, we haven’t had anyone request it or the MG Mk2 for a while, given their price tag. It is indeed a very powerful weapon, but that didn’t stop cops from getting it too. While I understand this was a counteractive action, it leveled the playing field along with some amazing weaponry like the tactical SMG, Heavy Sniper Mk2, and Marksman Rifle; plus, ofc, the gunship :D. Now, the scarcity of them in law enforcement’s hands due to ranks or internal restrictions is only fair, as again, they come with a heavy price tag. Add to that lower ranking cops have access to pretty amazing Mk II weapons like the Bullpup Mk2, Carbine Mk2, and Pump Mk2; never mind detectives also getting the AK Mk2. Again, I’m not complaining. I see that it is fair for everyone. It wouldn’t have been if cops were stuck with bone-stock carbine rifles and .50s like the good old days. In my humble opinion, the current situation is fair for everyone. Crims are never supposed or meant to overpower cops, and that can be seen in the range of different toys and gadgets. Crims live on quick, small picks before running from the cops. If cops feel they’re losing too much, maybe it’s time to rethink their approach to hostile situations and improve their gameplay. It’s not about running in and shooting, that’s what crims are supposed to be doing. You’re supposed to tactically strategize and approach. There had been many situations where cops had tactically gripped the situation and fighting back was not on the table. But running into situations like headless chicken is always a death sentence and calling for losses. While crims do indeed set ambushes and get the element of surprise on cops, it is always available for cops to retaliate back harsher and harder. Good old days of you holding Langley and Osborn at the gas station to be met with the heaviest suppression checks known to ECRP. To the main discussion: I love it the way it is right now, the variety of options create a more enjoyable environment. Unlike the plain old carbine and AK days with some special imports every here and there. Helicopters are a fundamental assets to law enforcement, I am down to keeping them as they are. No one is supposed to be permanently abusing their 240 car vs law enforcement slow ass cars. People are supposed to assess the situation before carrying it out, not because we (crims) got guns means we need to shoot anything that breathes or moves anywhere and anytime; pick your fights and take your losses. Thermals might be a bit too OP, indeed, but it is only fair to what the crims do be doing around the server. Adjusting the APs for crims or cops is unreasonable. It is perfect the way it is; 100 for crims and 150 for cops (aside from the most recent special import which I believe it should've been limited in quantity and priced higher). I'd love to see more value to smaller robberies, like stores, atms and chopshops. It's become dull to logon, go to lab, fight, log off. Other activities are not as profitable or enjoyable. Something like ATMs, it's a death sentence, very little percentage get away with it due to the constant transmitter, and the fact it slows your vehicle down drastically and you easily get a million cop on your ass. GND patrolling labs is not a GND problem. It is a whole issue with cops sitting outside labs "speed trapping". But again, it is only reasonable because 85% of crims are lousy and slow. They see a lab and they wanna fight regardless of lab's placement or anything. Disregarding all measures you can take to avoid cops. You do not have to force fights in all situations and crims are offered suppressors to help attract less attention but you see someone letting their weapon rip right next to the highway and not expecting cops to respond to sit there after multiple different fights from the same location. Some lab like sewers, I've not seen it open more than a couple of hours. And while almost everyone agrees it is the best lab, people just don't care and want to shoot instead of using the lab to their advantage.

    QOL Changes

This will strike a nerve for some. Stop adding cushion rules, not because the RP is not winnable for some means that we add a rule to pamper them. There are a whole lot of ways to navigate risky situations without the need of adding a rule for everything. Think IC'ly and accept a loss, maybe you have to make a small sacrifice for a larger gain. being abused by a gang? offer them something reasonable to enhance your relationship (not billion dollars a week type shit) and this can be reviewed and enforced by fm. Losing house robberies? Negotiate with those that are doing so. Can't cook? Negotiate something reasonable with a gang that cooks a lot and have them take you under their wing. Not everything has to be a pure win and not everything has to be a pure loss. Both parties must be willing to compromise and I see that as a duty of FM to enforce reasonable RP on the gangs. Ex. Gang B offered gang A 10% cut of the chops for them to provide the tools and protection needed | Gang C offered Gang D help with cooking in labs for a reasonable payout | Gang E offered Gang F protection on house robberies for 20% of the profits or a fixed number per house. This ofc does not apply to all situations, there are some extreme like the council one where demands were unreasonable and just for the sake of burying another group. The backup rule that stemmed from that era is outdated, and has since then restricted and blocked a lot of RP chances forcing every gang to be for its own.
  9. Having been part of both sides for quite some time now, I can confidently say that law enforcement enforcing the law does not make them a “clap crew.” Criminals are given plenty of options and tools to ensure an enjoyable and fair environment. While I understand this point and unfortunately it is shared heavily among the criminal player base: I can see how it might appear as a "honey trap," but cops do not always have knowledge of which labs are active, and they don't just sit outside a lab waiting. There are speed traps at that location whether the lab is active or not, I've seen it first hand. They observe and react, that’s how law enforcement has been and always will be; a reaction. Simply take different routes, use suppressed weapons, or better yet, don't even push the lab at all. Let whoever is doing their business do their business if you don't want to get involved with the cops. But sometimes, it's just a case of "monkey sees, monkey shoots" with most people. It’s really not that hard to fly under the radar and do your thing away from law enforcement’s prying eyes. You just need to be more strategic and understand how law enforcement operates. Again, I’m not saying criminal RP is perfect or that PD/SD are saints. Yes, sometimes situations are stretched, and rules are bent, but that’s why we have server staff and legal faction management to keep things under control. PD and SD high command/executive staff are some of the most seasoned players on the server, and the majority of them have tried the criminal side, so they understand how things work. SD and PD have their own internal policies to protect criminal RP'ers from being abused due to game physics or mechanics. But again, 90% of the time, it’s the criminals who get themselves caught. Whether it's leaving a trail for cops to follow or simply ignoring their existence and thinking being a criminal/being in a lab means you get a free pass. Take the Sewers lab, for example: this lab has never been active for more than 5 hours, as far as I know. People complain it's always shut, even though it's one of the best labs. Well, it's hidden (kinda), but what always draws PD there is the same "monkey sees, monkey shoots" behavior. I honestly have to disagree with this. Labs are designed in places to present a balanced risk-to-reward factor to keep things fair. Drugs are considered one of the most profitable activities, if not the most, so there’s got to be some balance. While some labs are far from civilization and others are just off the road, this should encourage criminals to work smarter to avoid getting those "good" ones raided. I can assure you it is not harassment. Law enforcement doesn’t just decide to raid a lab for fun. 9 times out of 10, they're following a breadcrumb trail. Some cops even understand that certain labs are good, and they leave them alone to avoid pressing criminals too much. Other times, it might be a simple oversight or, rarely, intentional targeting of criminals but that’s very rare.

  14. I dunno what mission you have in mind that would require SWAT/SED to have a pair of underpants, but you do you. Last time I checked, the protective gear was part of the "Tools necessary for the mission". Keeping in mind that if you get injured or killed, you won't be able to help. I guess you're thinking of a different kind of missions. +1 for the suggestion. Keep in mind that a timer would be needed if we will actually deploy from the cruiser not to counter the crashing issue when we're already deployed. Implementing a timer to deploy if we were already deployed before the crash would be a disadvantage more than an advantage.
