i completely agree with Yputi, this is non-rp and while the idea kinda makes sense, it's better to have it as it is now, you find our the popular racing spots ic'ly, find your own, invite people and race them, have fun and organise street races instead of /Race {ID] you have one guy standing in the middle who throws down his hands and everybody goes ;D. It even looks better!

Yesterday, i tried to do a burnout in my elegy retro, and was unpleasently suprised as the tires kept gripping the asphalt, and wouldnt spin. It almost sounded like it had trouble doing a regular burnout.. I proceeded to try this out in my V12, and the same issue. I then learned that the burnouts had been "Patched" to prevent burnout desync. Whilst i get it, i am also infuriated, because i miss my mile long skids, and drifts. I do legal RP, and the only fun i get to have except for being on duty, was drifting around in parking lots and doing long burnouts at speeds. I can no longer have this fun, and that makes me sad. Remove this silly patch and let us have the fun back!!

dude, it would! i'm 100% for this, anything that improves the general RP of the server i'm a huge supporter of! and you do make good suggetions aswell, Denni. I'm a fan of the How to roleplay 101 aswell. Great initiative to teach those who do not fully understand the concepts of RP, and how to Eclipse!

Agreed. However, if a Government faction was established, i don't think it would be too much work to add an Aviation branch. However, creating an entire faction solely for planes, is uh.. Not stupid, but inefficient to be honest.. Lets just worry about actually getting the planes onto the server, before making any kinds of Aviation factions and so on.

Now while it should be hard to get planes, i dont think it should be impossible. I'm sure you have a general idea of how the economy is on the server. Saving up even 400k->1M takes WEEKS, and this is if you're active in a faction. Unless you do criminal shit ofc, money is easier to come by then. So you want a little Cessna 152 to cost 1.5m? IRL, a brand new Cessna 172 is around Half a million USD, if not cheaper. So i dont think the prices on the prop planes should be changed, i can however see that the prices on the Executive jets which i i wrote, may seem like underballing, But i certainly dont think that 500.000 for a Two-seater prop is "Cheap".

Hello, if you read the whole post. you will see that i already made some decent suggestions regarding these, i ask you to please read the whole post and THEN comment Feel free to give your comments on my suggestions and tell me what you like, or should be ammended. An FAA faction is already in the back of my head, but this is not possible until a GOVERNMENT Faction is implemented, THEN "FAA/SAA" ( San Andreas Aviation authority ) Could be a BRANCH of the goverment faction, not a faction on its own. Please read my whole suggestion :). I agree on the training part, but again. That would be a faction. I like the points you made, and would love it to be like that, but it would have to be a branch of the goverment faction imho. (i would LOVE to work with an Aviation faction in the future sometime. But the sad reality is that with the current desync issues this is not possible, as to flying etc. When Rage 0.4 gets released the desync issues should be fixed and then we're talkin'. I would honestly love to see an aviation faction, but as i stated above it would most like be a government branch. Also if you scan through the first page of questions, someone asked me similar questions.

I have thought alot about this. IRL you can buy a private jet as a Business man. Etc. For that to work as you want it to you'd need to have a faction. First thing is getting planes on here, second thing is what you are talking about What is the issue with letting people own for example a buckingham nimbus, and Ic'ly running their own little charter company? Why does that have to be limited to a job, or a faction? please elaborate :). Downtown taxi company could have Air-taxi's (helicopters) sometime in the future perhaps. but not private jets. that seems pretty overkill for a taxi company.. You want to RP Owning a charter company and flying cargo? sure go right ahead, but limiting it to a specific job/faction isn't the solution here. It will already be very expensive to own, operate and buy both the license and aircraft. So i do not believe that aircraft ownership should be limited to factions, or to the tiniest propeller planes. Me for example, i would love to have a Buckingham Nimbus, and RP'ing charter flights for very rich businessmen, etc. Or a Mammoth for leisure flying when i feel like taking it for a spin, maybe both? if you can afford it, why not? Only civil aircraft, i dont think 8 planes is "alot" and all of these planes are slow, the only fast ones are the Buckingham Jets. which makes sense because they're supposed to be expensive.

the pilots license? indeed. I agree, it should be HARD, not just a dance on roses if you know what i mean. Its not supposed to be as easy to get as a drivers license. It's still a work in progress.

Therefor extremely limiting the abuse as well. A scripted job for planes is not a good idea. How would you prevent abuse; I would prevent abuse by making it expensive, and therefore exclusive, numbering the people being able to actually own a plane, or a pilots license. Like with the Supercars. How many planes can be in the sky at once?; I'm not sure if you can limit how many planes are in the sky, i don't believe there would be more than perhaps 10-15 flying at once, since it would be an exclusive thing. Alot of people don't want to buy a plane, its costs too much, or they would rather get a Supercar which they can actually show off in the city. Instead of being stuck at LSIA with a Buckingham Nimbus. Air traffic control? maybe another scripted job?: Adding ATC would have to be a faction. Perhaps if the suggestion gets accepted, sometime in the future ATC could be a branch in a Government faction, if that is implemented in the future.
