Update: I have checked all the comments. First of all, thank you so much for these. First I want to answer some comments with my opinion: @Xoza: I searched hours and hours for offical rules against this. Sadly I didn't came far. Then I am talking about legal reasons. The game (GTA V) is a 18+ game and states it contains graphical content. What I did find was this post on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/0/282992646969557466/ This adds up to your point where there should be a zero tolerance of ERP with characters that are underaged. Commign back to the point where an ECRP staff member was upset finding 2 characters performing an act of ERP with an underaged caharcter informed, the staff member was disgusted and not happy. There are people in this community that don't really bother seeing this or performing this themselves, but there are also people who do. Personally I think it's a no-go, but it's not that upsetting for me as I do realize it's still a game. @Denni: I did some research (again) and I did find the following: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_European_Game_Information GTA V is classified as PEGI 18. However, PEGI ratings are there to HELP European consumers make informed decisions when buying video games. I do believe this is something the server shouldn't be bussy with. Everyone is different and behaves different. It's up their parents, themselves or sellers of the games to decided if they should play or not. I did see some discussions about this earlier and I did agree on some points. Still, I do think this is something to deal with by Rockstar or Steam and not by the server EXCEPT in exceptional situations. @Flucifial: I agree, 100%. What does make this hard in my opinion is that we (as the people controlling the characters) already have some knoledge that you might didn't had in the past. It will be hard to say something like: "You didn't had that knowledge when you were that old". Then it would be assuming as there are not fact to rely on. My conclusion (for now): I do think its great to have everyone's opinion and POV. Once again, this helped alot. Personally I would appreciate some dedicated guide for people who RP an underaged character. If it is alone to remind them what would be considered promoting poorRP and the /do's we would expect from them as scriptwise this isn't possible, but the info would be important. I remember an staff member (not gonna name anyone) that was curious because he spotted people doing ERP with an underaged involved. I am just trying to figure out what you would think and I am open for everything.

RP should be realistic and yes, I do agree it should be possible to RP it. As Vasquez mentioned though, I do think there should be clear rules: "But as said, I think it's important to have some proper guide lines and rules to make sure people don't abuse this opportunity for their own sick fantasies or so." Realisticly you won't put a 10 year old in jail. But from the other side, a 10 year old wouldn't lockpick a car. I still agree with Vasquez there should be clear and proper guide lines for this as I did see this in the past. Not to mention how I did see some people were 14 and 1 day later they were 18 and got their gun license.

So just so I know I understand you right: You SHOULD be able to RP underaged, but there should be strict rules and it should be clearly defined in the rulebook? Also, do you think there should be a minimum at all? 10 years old is a little xtreme imo, but thats me.

The admin I spoke with indeed did tell me RP'ing underaged is allowed, as long as ERP isnt involved.

Hello, So I was informed quite a while ago that people are not allowed to RP that they are younger then 16 years old. When I encountered a person who RP'ed he was around 10 years old I informed the person I heared about this. The person wasn't quite happy I said that, but I only informed him I heard it. An Admin came to teh location and confirmed it is NOT against the rules to RP underaged, but also said it was a rule in the old rulebook. Then I explained that it made sense in my mind as everyone is able to get a driverslicense without any restrictions. Someone else then responded with that things should be seen in a RP way and not script (which I agree on). In the past I did encounter some "trolls" who were RP'ing underaged and showed quite some failRP. After that 1 encounter I haven't seen it for ages. The admin that was there also said it might get discussed to get it back in the rulebook. I personally do think it is a good idea. Why? Well, here is a list of what I think: - People standard get base income. Quite alot for an underaged. - Underaged can't get a job - Underaged people should be able to do crimes without getting the same punishment as older people (because they are underaged). - Trolls (I know, there are people who can RP properly). Basically, it doesnt really make sense to me. Now, I hope to have some feedback and POV of other people. I personally do see how this was a rule in the past. My theorem is: The age your character can have, should be a minimum of 16 years or older. Please let me know what you think, yay or nay. +1 I see how it improves RP + maybe it will prevent from people randomly have first aid kits in their cars while they never Rp'ed it...

The dange of that is people can create scripts that automatically fill that in once in a while

Hard one. I would love it yes, but I do see its purpose. I just hate it though when you finally in a good anim and the AFK timer comes aorund the corner... Then you get out the anim, try to walk enought to make it stop and you end up getting hurt/injured (mainly in houses). I did thought about something though; Maybe a random generated code in chat you have to type over so you dont have to move ouot of your anim. Like I said, its annoying, but it has a purpose I can see in it. Not a + or a - for me, I stay neutral.

sadly I don't hahve the full footage of that situation as I had to wait for a supervisor and my plays.yv recordfs for 5 min. I do have some small end part, but this is the reason I took it to discussions. I just want to know what to do/should have happened sintead of just reporting people. I just paid the tickets and went offline to get some rest. It was only 1K though. When he did the "/me gives the ticket" and then "/do does she take it?" I used "/do not yet", because I was talking when he did that and the IC reason for that was that I didn't want to take it yet, otherwise he would just take off. I am really glad you share your thoughts, I really am. It's just sad that when I try to figure it out with the person itself I get back: "report me if you want..." as I am trying to figure out what is going on. Adding to that, its really hard to just say that you got a wrong ticket, but have 0.0 info yourself....

I agreed and of course scriptwise things were done, but I informed the person 2 times I didn't got the ticket yet. I didn't try to make it hard, I tried to RP. As I mentioned earlier I am not trying to report people, but I appreciate your POV. IMO it's weird I even got tickets that I never got as the PD even specified I only get speeding. Also, the ticket wasn't the main point. If I didn't want to pay the ticket I just could have took of as my car is way faster, but my char ain't criminal.

I didn't try to get out of the situation + I didn't refuse. I even notified the person 2 times, but what I got back is that I can report him. I had a situation with the exact same officer later that he requested a mechanic, he said "good day sir", I said "Sir?!" (Cuz my char is female) and he actually responded with "let's start over"(in OOC chat). Then he walked back and kinda voided the situation for no reason without me agreeing. I am not trying to avoid tickets or whatever. That is even what I mentioned IC. The officer kept saying I refused, but this wasn't the case since he was even the one that drove off.

I understand as people can just use that as excuse. I never had theh intention to report people are approach people directly in a bad way, that is why I removes the names and player tages. It's frustrating its hard to normaly talk to people if they just respond with "report me". My goal was to tell people without having to involve other instances and hopefully to let them realize what is going on. I don't expect to be handled different... Actually, its slightly sad more people experience this like I did. PD is a hudge factor in this server and should give an example to other factions that are/wanbt to become official. okay so today I encounterd some more fun... I got in some situation PD pulled me over for speeding. Fine, I directly pulled over. After getting a PD supervisor too, because my char was given false info earlier, the PD officer did a /me gives thhe ticket a few times. Won't say spamming, but he did it several times. Instead of taking it my char decided to ask about the false info that was given. After a while I notified the officer the ticket wasnt given yet. He didnt do anything with that info and later I PM'ed him again. Then he said it was handeld in "the system" by the supervisor... So besically, since I didnt take the ticket its allowed to void the whole RP of giving the ticket... but I still have to pay tickets.... I kinda compare this to something like this (maybe not best comparison, but it will do): Me: /me takes bob's money Me: /do succes? Bob: /me asks about the money Me: /me takes bob's money Me: /do succes? Bob: /do not yet (I ACTUALLY USED /do not yet!) Me: /takemoney Also got a ticket for failure to yield, while there was said only speeding would get a ticket. I dont even have a change to get to know what the ticket was for because I just get thgose tickets virtually dumped on me :3 This was right after he "gave the ticket": Imagine you have to apply at some faction later, state what things you have done where you got tickets for you have to fill in you dont even know I used to work in HR... I would think the person is lying and tries to hide it.

Good to know there is a protocol. I get your point and I am not trying to be mad at someone, but shouldnt it be a standard people don't have to report? Ofcourse sometimes this is a good way to wake people up, but if its even a protocol. Also.. I am kinda done with reports. I know this isnt an excuse, its pure my problem. Its just the fact I did a report months ago, spended hours on making it and its just simply ignored. Still no response after 3 months. This is why I started a discussion, to get other peoples view and get to know what should happen/what we should do. Thanks
