I can understand your concern about this but on their screen, yes they drive in front, but on your screen and to your client they are next to you, this is a Dsync version of a PIT (Also called Lag Pitting) maneuver, something police do all too often in real life and often one of the only ways we are able to disable suspects vehicles. It is also unrealistic for the suspect just drive all throughout the city posing danger to every civilian. I can understand your argument, but in this situation especially with Dsync they are trained to do PIT maneuvers, Dsync is what causes the wrecks to look as they do and the Sync got worse since the update in August MUCH worse. Doing a Lag PIT Maneuver is our way in-game of making up for the Latency and Dsync issues with the client. If you would like, I could get a video and show you what it looks like on both sides, Client vs Client what they see, because, for them, they're in front of you, but for you, they're right next to you or by your back quarter panel as best as they can get. So in no way are they trying to compromise the RP Realism. -1

Hello @DEAD_HUNTER, First I would like to express that this will be looked into. Second off I would like to cover the basics of how yes, we do require Footage in a lot of instances as anyone can say anything to anyone and place blame and accusations against individuals that are untrue and it's happened time and time again, yes we do require footage evidence, I'll give you one example of why and if you would like I could give you more. Just the other day a guy reported that someone RDMed him, and so I responded to the /report, upon doing so I noticed there were longtime players on the scene who do record, first thing I did was PM them to ask for evidence of the last 5-10 minutes, then got the guy who reported's side of the story, he claimed they came up and just shot him and didn't have video. The individuals on the scene that were not involved did have a recording, and they supplied it without any issue. Upon review of the evidence, the individuals did roleplay, all in voice chat, (Voice is something that is not logged by the server, it is not recorded) in fact he provoked the individuals on the scene and they told him to leave, they pulled a gun, he acknowledged it and then ran around in circles, breaking FearRP, showing no fear for his life and showing Non-Compliance. which in the end got himself shot with valid Roleplay. the player who reported the RDM, had no understanding of the rules and had possibly never read them, as he committed VDM and Mass VDM his first two days on the server. Now, if this was you in the situation, I showed up and the reporting party said you RDMed, and I look at the logs, see there are no chat logs showing roleplay in the incident, would you simply like me to ban you for 24 hours? with a log that never goes away, that stays on your record just because of what one guy said? It is everyone's responsibility to record, even myself, and I used plays.tv, it doesn't take up much space, it takes up as much as you want, I have it set to 10gb, and when it reaches that, it overwrites the old videos, it also records as soon as I start playing, all things that are effortless, if a situation manages to arise, I can then pull up the video, and show the last session I played, go to where the rule was broken, clip it and upload it within 5 minutes and it uses minimum resources. It is everyone's responsibility in the community to provide evidence of situations if they really want to better the community, because as Administrators/Moderators we're not going to go drop the banhammer on everyone just because someone said someone did something, and in a lot of situations that you're talking about, people have expected us to, just based off of what they said, as I said with this situation it will be looked into. With the regard to other servers you've played on, I'm not sure if they are Text-Only servers, as this one is the only one I know of on GTMP that is a VOIP server, but VOIP makes a HUGE difference in logs as VOIP is not recorded, that's one reason we require people to have evidence of their accusations especially something as serious as RDM. Now you also claim that we have a dwindling population when actually it's on the contrary, the population has been steadily rising, we've had numerous players who've complained about this but again I ask you, do you want me to take someone else's word, solely against yours with no evidence? I'm not talking about this situation in particular, but in other instances, various instances in my experience of being a Moderator/Administrator, people have expected me to do that, but I have no evidence to actually back it and show that a player broke the rules, only one person's word against another. That simply doesn't fly. We also have full access to the Chat Logs, but GTMP only allows us to pull it back from a certain distance, again, VOIP is something that is not recorded, we have access to Administration logs as well and so forth, I believe there was a miscommunication on that part but we do have access to logs. @forgonesoul I can assure you that PD members are not supposed to be AFK on duty, although some, may need to use the restroom or something if it's a continuous issue they have a Report an Officer section on the Government Forums gov.eclipse-rp.net . Most of the time if things are in idle they might be taking care of some Forum work as well, but if it's a repeated issue you can feel free to report it on the Government Forums and they will take it into Internal Affairs.

You know, I can honesty say I didn't expect to have such a great friendship with you, didn't know what to expect, you came into the LSPD and joked around a bit and made my day, before I knew it you had become such a great friend to me and still are and It pains me to see you go but like I've told you in the past I completely understand and I'm happy for you. In the beginning you were just some guy that was fun to hang out with in Teamspeak and joke around with and before I knew it you had influenced me in quite a few things, such as becoming a part of Staff, PR, and just doing more, in general, you've influenced me and I'm sure a lot of other people on the Server to do great things, you even influenced me to enjoy myself and see the fun things in life with just your personality even though I was facing a very difficult time in my life at that point. Not to mention you've become one of the people that I talk to every day and have to me, become such a great friend, don't know what it's going to be like to not have you around but I can assure you, I'm NOT looking forward to it.. InvalidSun I'm really going to miss having you around with all the fun times we've had and games we've played and you truly are an incredible person, whatever happens out there on the road, be safe, and PLEASE as a FireFighter I beg of you, don't use your phone and drive, the last thing I want to hear from you is that you rear-ended a car at 70mph because of a phone, it does happen and it is real. and pay attention to hills, slow down when going over them because those can end up in bad situations too, I've seen it happen. @inFamousMax +1 Definitely to the ideas I have seen in this post, in fact some of them I was thinking along the same lines, I was originally thinking of laser tag with the paintball but you put it into more words and effort then I did, I love the concept of all of this there's incredible ideas in all of this and I can see how it will tie together. One thing I was thinking about is maybe there could be multiple chop shops, have one up in Paleto, would increase player count up there plus Patrol of the LSPD, as well as what if we were to make them a bit competitive? two people going after the same chop sometimes? that would prove an interesting role play between both chop shops as they would be competing against each other. That also leaves room for, if one gets shut down because of the business license being revoked, players can still divert to the other chop shop (or shops) and keep the role play going, personally, if it was feasible I'd like to see the chop shops move around every so often to try and elude the police, but that's could be quite taxing on the Developers. Drug Trafficking and Gunrunners, this is a BEAUTIFUL idea, I love it, it adds a lot for the police, detectives, and for the criminal aspect of things. The only thing I feel that we're lacking so far, is as far as the end game.. something people had issues with before.. "I've got all the guns, money, drugs and cars I could ever want.. what else is new?" I've heard of people leaving because of this issue, and they leave and come back just so they can lose some money and start over because once you reach the top there's nothing to do which really leads to the main concern of mine is we can start all new events, make it so people can make more money, but then, they have plenty of money, now what do they do? they have all of what they want, now it's down to just features, scripts, something fun to do. I'm trying to think of ideas of how to keep people interacting with each other. maybe the Hitman system would return around this point so people can place hits on each other, so they can lose some of their fortune and have the drive to regain it?.. just some Ideas/Opinions. At the same time I feel it's up to the criminal factions that once they reach this plane, where they have everything they want, they're basically the "Don" of the organization and need to focus on lifting up their lower members, but once they all reach the point of having pretty much endless funds and they're all making money.. they need something to spend money on so that there's something to achieve from having a lot of money.. that's a big limitation there, is once we get the criminal's to have an influx of money, what can we do to make it so that they have an out flow (Optional of course, but VERY enticing.) so that they can continue to gain something after reaching the top? There should be things that they can do to achieve more, or maybe when done right there could be instances where one faction can overthrow another, they rob the Dons house, take all his money and distribute it among their faction?.. but then they have all of the money, and the cycle will attempt to repeat over and over.. I don't know, maybe this babbling might shoot some ideas around, but that's just something I'm struggling to see a resolve in, the end-game. Once you reach the end that's it, there's nothing more to do once you've done it all.

@Com783 I understand how you feel about LSC, but LSC has become the main Hub, as in the place where most users tend to go, and a lot of crime happens in LSC, but even there there's a lot more that's going on most of the time, as in furthered role play that can lead to situations like this, a lot of times, people commit crimes in other places and the LSPD find them at LSC, because as I said it's the main Hub and a lot happens there. I'm not sure what the backstory to this situation is but maybe @NoewUH can provide some insight for you? @th3gr3gI respect your honest opinion, but if you have quit after 3 days as stated, please don't use the forums as a means of disrespecting the server and the community it servers, I will advise it takes more then 3 days to get involved with the RP going on in the server. @sykotiktvEven with that being said, It needs to be made clear that we in this community do not tolerate disrespectful/offensive behavior towards one another as you being one of the players you represent this community, please in the future think of how to handle things in a more respectful manner, You have been issued a Warning for said behavior.

Hello there, Have you tried again since then? I know at first the verification system required us to Verify it twice, and it could be that the email got bugged, but if you attempt to resend the email now after the spam timer, it should go through. If you're unable to get to the page where it requests the email verification, log-in to your Game Panel, then try to navigate to one of the side tabs and it should immediately request that you verify your email, and just resend it and confirm it, and it should work from there. If all of this fails to get the verification process completed, please notify us so that we may be more aware of the issue at hand and try to correct it as soon as we can. Thank you. -Felix.

@itzkain It's a simple solution actually if you're using the authenticator. If you're using the authenticator, when you go to log in, put in the code, and CLICK enter, don't press enter on your keyboard, boom, problem solved. Hope this solves your problem! -Felix

Date and time (provide timezone): 15:00 (-06:00 CST) Character name: Felix Hernanz Issue/bug you are reporting: Reappearing Warrants Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Alright so, I work in PD, and with the new Prison/MDC in place, I've noticed a bug today, Wayne_Breezy and Enzo_Ferrari were both put in Prison today, and afterwards the server crashed, I went through my warrants upon restart and noticed that their warrants reappeared in their record, uncrossed. when it wasn't there prior to the crash. I noticed this for another individual (Sid_Escobar), I jailed him myself, and after the server crashed again, his warrant popped up again for Failure to Comply. (He got the Criminal Threats when he was in jail and that is still active.) These are pictures of their current record, and I as this progresses if you would like I will continue to post more evidence. as I'm sure it will happen again.
