Issue seems to be when i start typing in my details thats when the game crashes out - without typing it sits there running fine

I have no overlays running in the background. Simply start the pc, open steam and then open the GTA multiplayer app... all works until i start typing to login to the server. at this point, the game crashes

Hi guys - im new to the community... GTA V works perfectly fine when i run it direct from steam. But since ive installed the mutliplayer app to connect to your server i keep getting an error which crashes my game. I have reinstalled the game 3 times today !! its starting to drive me nuts ... The error i get is the : ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT I have followed youtube videos for their fixes, googled it but it only happens when i start the game via the multiplayer app. Can anyone assist me with this ?
