That'd be nice. Having to go out and purchase a polaroid camera to take a high-quality mugshot makes me feel very 1970s. /panim camera was very convenient. Don't get me wrong, a polaroid camera that produces physical in-game items used to display pictures is very cool, but it does not cover all use cases. If /panim camera is not going to make a comeback, it'd at least be very nice to have a digital camera item that has an identical function to /panim camera, where it just saves the screenshot to your hard drive.

Vehicles without a physical plate on it, thus a blank license plate, cannot be impounded by law enforcement or mechanics unless it is physically broken into for forced entry, someone sits in it and runs the impound command, because you no longer need to enter a license plate when you are inside the vehicle you are attempting to impound. This makes very little sense, especially for mechanics but also for law enforcement, so it feels like an oversight. Please make it so that a vehicle can be impounded with its VIN.

Confirmed for LSPD also. On multiple occasions, after either crashing or restarting, I had to recreate my unit. When I went off-duty for 40 minutes to do other things IC, I returned to on-duty status without a unit while my unit still existed, meaning I had to clear it to be able to recreate it. It's Command for LSPD, it should be a toggleable permission that isn't attached to anything else, but that's a whole other can of worms.

Date and time (provide timezone): 03/AUG/2024, 19:58 UTC Character name: Elena Flores Issue/bug you are reporting: When players equip a (faction) weapon that has attachments, there are times when you can see the attachments while it is displayed on their character, but when it is selected in their weapon wheel, the attachments are no longer shown. Unsure if the same applies to weapons that are not customized by factions and retrieved from faction lockers. Expected behavior: For weapon attachments to be properly synced and shown irrespective of the weapon status (shown on back, held in hands, hand-overs). Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Unsure of specific steps to replicate, but I think if you hang around enough LEOs that can deploy a heavy weapon with attachments, it'll become clear. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A.

Just to add my two cents, the ideal implementation from my perspective is to define a non-tied hairstyle and a tied hairstyle. What this means for players, is that they would be able to choose their main hairstyle (any hairstyle in the barbershop) and for their second (tied) hairstyle, they would be able to pick from any hairstyle that looks/is considered tied up in the barbershop. For example, on a female character, I could pick a really long hairstyle for my general main hairstyle, then choose the base game ponytail as my tied-up hairstyle, and then whenever I use the command or item to tie the hair, it switches to that hairstyle. The same could be applied to say, the lengthier male hairstyle to the "man bun" / the Steven Seagal hairstyle. This would allow the players to make their own customization choices and still provide the hair-tying feature. Maybe a little more work than a set-in-stone hardcoded hairstyle selected by the developers, but it'd be a nicer way to implement the feature for players than to force one specific hairstyle upon tying the hair.

Date and time (provide timezone): 02/AUG/2024, 16:38 UTC Character name: Elena Flores Issue/bug you are reporting: In the uniform builder, under "BAGS", drawable 101 for MALES is incorrectly named; Drawable 101, texture 3 (1885233650_5_0_2_0_1) is named "LSPD BADGE AND NAMEPLATE (CAPTAIN)", when it is the Lieutenant badge, and should be "(LIEUTENANT)". Drawable 101, texture 4 (1885233650_5_0_3_0_1) is named "LSPD BAGE AND NAMEPLATE (LIEUTENANT)", when it is the Captain badge, and should be "(CAPTAIN)". Expected behavior: For the Lieutenant and Captain badges to be named appropriately, and not swapped around, Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Select the drawables provided above in the uniform builder and check what is written on them on the player model. Vehicle license plate number*: Not relevant.

the law enforcement, american police officer roleplayer in me is very much in support of any animation of people making suspicious movements or placing their hands in such ways where one cannot see what they are doing or holding before pulling their hands back out

This is going to be a really niche suggestion and likely won't affect most players who don't lead (legal) factions or manage the F4 menus thereof, so if that's not something you do, this may not be your cup of tea. Currently, as it stands, the faction menu is entirely outdated and is more akin to a remnant of a time that once was, that being the Eclipse Roleplay of 2017. The server has taken many strides to move away from being hard-coded and towards being modular and adjustable, prime examples of such for legal factions are the introduction of vehicle, uniform, and weapon management. The faction menu itself, and by extension the management of faction members and permissions, has not been adjusted since the dawn of time. Take LSPD for example, a lot of permissions are tied to a handful of permission toggles for rank groups, some of which don't make any sense, to begin with, or are unclear. Then, branches cannot be created by faction leaders; instead, they must be created by server management and assigned a certain branch type to get access to specific commands, such as the door ramming for SWAT or tracing for Detectives. As it stands, you also cannot force a "Specific Rank AND Specific Branch", and instead it ends up being "Specific Rank OR Specific Branch", which does not help with specific vehicles, weapons, or uniforms, and if you were to have a branch for one thing, a branch for another thing, both with different permissions but joinable at the same time through IC means to not restrict roleplay and character development, you'd have to pick one of two branches in F4, which is sort of drawing the short end of the stick. I am sure that this has been considered by development and will be addressed at some point in time, however, I want to propose a flags system in lieu of group- and branch permissions, to provide more clarity and flexibility to faction leaders. Instead of having these toggles that allow you to, for example, let specific groups "Manage Invites" (and then some other random permissions for eg. LSPD, which may or may not be entirely unrelated to the toggle at hand), revamp the system to have flags for every permission. The following are examples: A flag for MDC access. A flag for management menu access. A flag for invite management. A flag for specific commands. A flag for every permission, really Flags for faction types assignable by server management, which then grants them access to commands. You'll notice that this is similar to the current system, except, a lot is currently set in stone. "SWAT" branch types have access to ramming doors, the "Detective" branch has access to tracing, mechanic faction types have access to mechanic services, so on and so forth, none of this being modular. If you opt for a flag-based system instead of these "checkboxes" that have a ripple effect, faction leaders (and server management) have far more flexibility in the management of factions on Eclipse. This should then tie into the vehicle, uniform, and weapon system, by allowing the attachment of these to flags, just as they are attachable to groups and branches now. Permission flags should be assignable by faction leaders TO players AND ranks, faction-type flags should be assignable by server management, so on and so forth. Oh, and please let faction leaders make branches if we're getting rid of the hard-coded branch system in this case. Not sure if this would affect illegal factions in any way, but the closest example I've got is, think of a recruiter for your faction having a similar rank to others who you don't want to give access to invitations. Instead of making a whole new rank group to circumvent giving an entire group access to invitations, you could assign this specific player the flag for invite management, and it's done.

Allow players to remove their tattoos, as opposed to only replacing them. Way too long overdue, IMO.

Add a feature, whether through the chat or through a visual aspect on the phone, that indicates missed/unread texts and calls. Add some form of a time indicator to the phone text conversations. Re-organize the furniture store into many more categories.

Replace the death animation with a synced ragdoll. Nothing is sillier than running while being shot and then turning into a brick wall while your character points their hand forward and does a dramatic death animation when you'd realistically just fall over.

Date and time (provide timezone): 30/JUN/2024, 12:13 UTC Character name: Elena Flores Issue/bug you are reporting: The new vehicles from the most recent modding update are not recognized properly by the server and show a "?" as their GPS marker, do not have any pictures in the faction menu, and likely do not have proper fuel usage set up. Two of these vehicles are also displayed as "NULL" in the menu. It affects the following vehicles: Police Hakuchou [polhaku] Police BF400 [policebf] Police D10 [police10] Expected behavior: For the vehicles to have an associated GPS blip, have allotted fuel usage in line with other cruisers/civ variants of the vehicle, and for them to have associated pictures in the menu. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Open the faction menu and spawn one of the new vehicles. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A

This is the same with any action timer, but there's a stark difference between these and action times with a keypress minigame. For example, you reset the blue circle progress with F7 if you're doing any quick time minigame, like removing vehicle parts or hitting an ATM, but you can still press space at the right time when it would normally be under the green section if you are paying attention and move on to the next action.
